Multiple tornadoes tore through the country side and into the rural suburbs of northern Abilene, TX. Multiple houses were hit and numerous reported injured.
Storm Chaser Freddie McKinney is a true hero! He came upon an injured family whose house was destroyed by a tornado today. He transported them to the hospital in Amarillo for treatment. The 2 children had head trauma and father had a broken hand, among other injuries. This was streamed live. I'm giving Freddie a shout-out for his humanity and compassion!
Absolutely! I watched this and couldn't figure out what these people were doing running down the road this close to a tornado. Kind of missed the smooshed house!
Incredible footage. That was a very violent multi vortex tornado. Very fortunate that it did not strike a highly populated area

Can you have a multi-vortex cone. At about 4:15, i can see at least 2 subvortices. Great footage, thanks!
0:50 you can see it transition from cyclonic to anti-cyclonic . Pretty neat

@@minissa2009 no that’s why it started to rope out. Something interfered and when it tried to reconnect it was spinning the other way, but it does go back cyclonic eventually. It’s kind of creepy how the wind moves like that

.. this Tornado really just Danced its way across the Earth.
Hope that everyone under it was and is A -O.K.
So far no fatalities. Our news is still on it and just a bunch hurt but sadly a lot lost their homes
