A severe thunderstorm wreaked havoc across parts of eastern Colorado Tuesday evening and into the overnight hours. Destructive hail and gusty winds tracked across Yuma dumping hail on the roadways. A flash flood of melted hail as well as hail stones was observed flowing down the roadways. Emergency crews were out checking the area as well.

We in Colorado Springs dont call that 'large hail', though it is a heck of a big storm.

They were baseballs within a mile of my position; it destroyed the west side of town. That qualified as large hail. We were getting golf balls at our position.
