That's not how to make akpuruakpu egusi as an ngwa girl married by an umuahia man. You must put usu and you use warm water. This helps the oil to come out. You can use mortar and pestle or hand as well
I didn't see usuu.. that means the ingredients are not complete. And you mix with warn water and pound it to get oil out of it. Without usu it will dissolve
Not entirely, usu or not if your egusi is properly moulded it will not break. Personally I don’t add usu and my egusi comes out in lumps and I break it to the consistency I want

No please only egusi, I don't recommend you adding osu

You tried shaa. You didn't get it right. For it to firm moulded you need osu.and warm water. Umuahia people native soup

I think your not folding it enough you have to add few drops of waters till oil that coming out of it, you fold it till it's as smooth as a stone

You used normal water temperature instead of hot water. Use hot water and you'll get results
Next time they should add OSU to it na only way to make am firm

Moulding it with hand is just wasting of time,better use mortar and pestle, very easy and oil will be coming out like running water
Why do this with nails and bead hand band? It's not right. A real cook won't wear all this artificial things to cook.
You can't even mould, why using knife use your hands all through when you are ready to prepare this please remove or shorten those nails.
