    I tried this recipe and it was so delicious. My kids licked their plates too . I got to use 'ogilise' for the second time and now I will have more confidence to use it. First time I used it, I couldn't eat what I prepared.

      Yes... the ibibio and efik calls it that... while their mode of preparation is different... they add waterless to theirs

    Is okazi leaf same as afang leaf?
    Afang soup is bitter due to the leaf but okazi soup isn't bitter.

    I think it is always Ideal to break up every dry fish because ninety six percent of it always host a lot of different insects etc

      You can certify how fresh your fish is,
      1. When you buy directly from pond to dry by yourself
      2. The packaging
      3. Smelling or sniffing the fish.

      Ukpo, yes, mix with palm oil, just like the ofo.
      I don't use achi so I can't say, but it's probably the same

    Palm oil is one of the worst oils to cook with. It’s very inflammatory. Just research it. Thanks for sharing and be safe family

      She's using virgin palm oil which is completely different from the over processed stuff. It's packed with antioxidants and contains a rare form of vitamin E.
      It is actually one of the healthiest on the planet and forms one of the cornerstones of West African cuisine.
