    I think they did good with the seat removal design , no tools needed ! First bike I’ve had where I don’t have to remove any fairings for a oil change !!

    The wife didn't look too happy when you signed the papers. Hahaha. Anyway, I like the look of the new Ninja..... .some don't like the frontend but, they don't know style. :) That bike has a lot of untapped horsepower, get an ECU flash.

    • @StormtrooperRides
      @StormtrooperRides  3 роки тому +1

      Hey Tony, yeah she is never happy when I'm spending money!! LOL shhhh dont tell her I said that! The more I look at this bike the more I like the styling of it. I know its not for everyone but I dig it. Believe me as soon as they crack the ECU I'll be sending it in. In a million years I'll never have the nuts to drive this bike to its potential but I love that it has all that power and I'll push it a bit when I have gathered some courage :) thank you for the comment and for stopping by!

    I had exactly the same progression that you. Went from a 2016 650, to a 2018 1000 to a 21 zx10 that I bought last week. Keep the good videos coming, and keep sharing your thoughts about it.
    Ride safe

      Thanks so much Alpha Bro! Its coming along and I am having fun just finding getting used to this bike a bit challenging at the moment. I've really enjoyed being able to experience these bikes and sharing that experience with all of you. I realize that not everyone has the flexibility that I do and hopefully these vids keep the dream alive for someone wanting something in this class of bike. thank you thank you for the grats!

    I agree, the color scheme on the Kawasaki greens are something that you're not going to be wild about.
    The KRT looks like the skittles green apple.
    But you can't deny, when you see those colors, you know it's a Kawasaki.
    Still, though I'm a lover of naked and sportbikes... THAT GOLDWING THOUGH

      @StormtrooperRides  3 роки тому +1

      yeah with my wife's 636 being orange and now my lime green machine there will be no missing us coming down the road!! It does grow on you though! My Goldwing is solid and I intend to give it a little love on the channel this summer. Excellent grocery getter ha-ha!! But seriously I love all the bikes we have. So much fun. thanks for the comment and for stopping by!!

    I have the same bike, 2018 Kawasaki Z1000SX/Ninja 1000. Same color and everything😁. Such a good bike to ride. You'll never regret getting a Z1000SX/Ninja 1000. But there are more fun bikes out there. I just came in from a 5 hour ride with a buddy on a ZX10R, and his daughter on a Z400. 🏍💨🏍💨🏍💨. That ZX10R is one sexy bike. I want one so bad, but i'll have to manage with my Ninja 1000 for the moment😅. Congrats on a new bike! There ids few feelings as good as a brand new bike💖. I've had that feeling twice. First on a 2019 Yamaha MT-09 in 2019 and again with a 2018 Ninja 1000 in 2020 (it was a layover, so i got it 23% off full price), and i'd Love to have feel it again.

      agree! there is no feeling like driving off the lot on a new bike...i'm an addict! Its just a good time in my life to be able to not only have a hobby that I can afford and still be mobile enough to be able to ride these bikes. I'm having the time of my life! Let me know when you pull the trigger on a new bike, that N1K will serve you well until then for sure. It was bitter-sweet to let her go. Take care!!!

      Yeah I seriously considered the 2021 N1K since it has a lot of the corrections I was looking for with the updated dash, 4-2-1 exhaust, etc...AND...maybe I'll ultimately end up on another some day but I had to scratch the Super Sport itch. Its been something I've wanted since before my first sport bike and I talk about it every year. I'm done talking and I'm ready to see how I cope with all this power. So far...I really like it. Cheers Dee and thanks for stopping by!!

    Hey! Nice to see you back! Good Luck with it. The dealer we visited had 2 of them. Pictures and video doesn't do it justice! It reaches out and grabs you. I was never a fan of the KRT additions or the green but it works very well on this bike. The front end is you! Star Wars all the way. The whole bike is you. Can't wait to see what you do with it! Till the next time, be safe.

      yeah I'm looking forward to getting to know this bike more. I will say that this is not the slam dunk that the N1K and the 636 were. I do take issue with a few design points of this bike and I'll get to those soon. otherwise so far its got just amazing power when you ask for it and it is nimble as they come. i was excited to share this news with you!

    Congratulations!!! That 2021 looks sharp! Good luck with it and ride safe! Some years back, I owned a brand new 2014 ZX10R for just under 2 hours before fate intervened and took her away from me. Always make sure your backpack zippers are completely closed and your jacket liner doesn't slip out and end up in the rear brake rotar causing the rear wheel to lock up and eject you off at highway speeds. FYI, I also had a Ninja 1000 (2017 model) and sold it last year for a 2020 Z900, also a fantastic bike with forgiving ergonomics.

    • @StormtrooperRides
      @StormtrooperRides  3 роки тому

      OMG CMBiker that sounds like a horribly scary thing to happen. Thanks now I'll have that in my mind every time I put on a backpack!!! The Z900 looks like a fun bike!!!

    • @cmbiker
      @cmbiker 3 роки тому

      @@StormtrooperRides Luckily I only had a concussion, broken collarbone and AC joint. Full, proper gear made all the difference and a little luck having no cars/trucks behind me at the time. I had actually completely closed the zippers on my backpack, but it was fully stuffed and the zippers were closed at the top. Over the course of the ride back from the dealership, the wind and turbulence must have wiggled the zippers open enough to allow the jacket liner to escape. Now I keep the zippers completely closed to one side or the other and sometimes use wire ties to secure them.

    Goddamn been following you since the 650 days... congrats! You're lucky as here in Montreal Canada, that type of bike (super sport/high risk) is $2000/year for the registration and we only get to ride it 4-5 months a year due to the weather.. I gotta be content with my $700/year registration..

      aw Dan that sucks! this is the one area being old as dirt helps :) . My insurance over the Ninja 1000 only went up a few dollars and for whatever reason registering a bike of any size down here is pretty much the same. Hopefully one of these days they'll relax those restrictions on you guys up there. Thanks so much for sticking with my channel!! Much appreciated!

    @moto_verde3833 3 роки тому

    Are you my long lost brother? Did the same thing, wanted the BMW S1000RR but couldn't swallow the price tag given how and where I ride. I was all about the the ZX14 or ZX10R KRT. The ZX10R KRT Spoke to me and kinda felt like the ZX14 was not an upgrade to be nimble. Riding position takes a little getting used to but damn does the power and gearing not make you forget all about a little less comfort? Hit me up at 3shotrocky@gmail.com if you wanna compare notes. Currently I ordered R&G Sliders, and a TST Ind integrated taillight with relay and fender eliminator... Next stop prolly just gonna do a slip on. I'm guessing your gonna go the extra mile with full system and tune?
