It's leaking oil because you're riding around with harley bikes too much. The HD oil leak is contagious LOL and your bike got it. It's the COVID of the bike world ;)
Hell....If they are spliting the cases to do that warranty work...Go all out...Put the 112 piston kit...Cams...and a 2 into 1 full exhaust....Polaris did it on my old 2006 Victory Kingpin when i lost 4th gear at 44k...labor was free because they split the cases...
I would but they don’t have a 112 kit yet. I’m trying to see if they have to open it up if they’ll do the cams for free. That’s awesome they did it for you tho

Are you serious - the gasket gets folded before the heads are torqued? Besides Leakage - would that not cause a difference in compression than what it is supposed to have as an engine? - Camshafts on engines give trade offs only If looking for a higher RPM, what about the porting and polishing of your heads, and custom valve springs etc ? Oil Leaks can be created due to blowback pressure not being relieved properly through Engine Breathers, and therefore finding a weak point where engine case pressure will push oil through it -

I’ve talked to my dealer about how I feel like my bike doesn’t perform like other challengers I’ve ridden, they are supposed to look into it. This may be part of the problem 🤷🏽♂️ As far as cams, right now you can’t aftermarket tune the 23 and 24 year challengers yet. So you have to go through Indian and their tunes. Otherwise I would probably be doing the big bore kit 😂 with ported heads and upgraded valve train

That is the first thing I changed on the 3 Harley's I have owned (just gave the best one to my son a few years ago that I had upgraded to Hooker Headers and man that one is LOUD!). I had test rode the Indians prior to getting my last Harley Road Glide new in 2016 and the one thing I could not get over on that Indian was the delayed throttle response. I was initially looking at getting the Indian and could not get past that. It is not really much of one in reality but I could not get over it. To me it was like twisting the throttle and then looking at your watch and counting ...1....2....3 and then it hits. When it did hit the engine was pulling stronger than the Harley. Hope they fix that.
Did the leak get resolved? Did Indian cover it? I need to get mine into the shop. 23 Challenger 5k miles 1 year old leaking oil front right of frame myself, but can't track it without tearing it apart.

BRO! HERE'S WHAT I DID. : 2 GEN-2 6-1/2" POWERBANDS, UP FRONT. + BASE BOOST..... at first I thought it sounded worse than the factory dialed, but I realized my phone settings were bad.... I got bag speakers. System sounds great... but I'm gonna get powerbands in the rear also
if the bike was out of warranty i would be doing it myself. but it has a warranty and its their issue to deal with lol. i work on all of my own vehicles unless they are under warranty.
@@justjae706 Have you heard the regular Rineharts? The MotoPro 45s are the same pipes and baffles but are 4.5“ instead of 4". They have a little more bass to them, not loud. The dbx baffles are louder and same pipe.
@justjae706 what most people know as tab zombies are actually tab bam stick with zombie baffles. You can get bam stick with a different baffle to contol how loud it is
It’s funny cause the dealer told me the same thing about 2300 rpm is lugging the engine. Then why in the owners manual does it tell me I should be going to 6th at 50 mph which would put me at 1900. Just don’t get it
I have been looking at some new ones cause this one is old. But I’ve had it for like 7yrs had it has never let my phone go even through a crash, got up looking around for my phone and found it still on the bike 😂
It needs alittle more, but mostly want tune to smooth it out and run cooler. Bikes come lean from the factory. Gas mileage depends on your right hand. My bike is strictly a tow. It’s not my commuter, I ride it for fun and to relax so I don’t really care about gas mileage, cause it doesn’t matter when you’re riding hard
Your dreaming..warranty cover labor for oil leak repair only..pulling cams and tuning..adds time to the repair..aka build.. Time is money..even with Indain...good luck..!
I’ve talked to a few people who have done it that way. The whole top of the engine has to come apart. So they just have them put the stage 2 cams back in and then you pay for the tune
Don’t buy a Harley. They’ve gone extremely woke and are getting backlash for it. I have a 2023 Lowrider ST and it burns over a quart of oil every 1000 miles and Harley says it’s ok to burn 1 quart every 1500. My fork seal is leaking, after 6k the plugs are fouled, I have a check engine light on. I’m not making this up. It’s under warranty, but the oil consumption might not get fixed
I’ve heard they aren’t doing great! My bestfriends dad got a brand new trike, and he’s ready to trade it in for an Indian. Cause he’s had nothing but problems out of it and Harley won’t step up.

Only 9k miles and one of my fork seals are leaking, it uses more than 2 quarts of oil in less than 3k and I ride very easy and run good oil. Security light on dash is steady red indicating a light is out, all lights are working. I had to Schedule a warranty appointment on the 26th. They’re that backed up. I’m also selling mine for an Indian but waiting to see if Indian comes out with something new for next year

Honda Golwings have a recall for fuel pump failures and potentially another with a bolt coming loose in the transmission. Yikes.

Khromewerkx have a nice deep tone and sound good on indians. Also not too loud.

I've put almost 500k miles on 4 different Goldwings. None of them ever leaked a drop of oil.
