It's interesting to note that she never mentioned her surprise towards this, considering the fact that she probably never told him as they were planning the killing strategy. Only WE know that he got his memories back by chance, but Celeste didn't know that. Celeste was just using him for murder, an accomplice, i don't think she told him all carefree about her old past. I'm guessing she was too preoccupied with her death coming to question how Hifumi knew her real name.

(spoilers) if you think about it, her murder was like a gambling game with strategy and she actually put Makoto's luck to test. the only gambling she's ever lost in her life was that class trial. She lost it to the ultimate lucky student and the cost was her life.
The 3rd trial isn't the only time Celeste gambled with her life on the line; given that gambling is SUPER illegal in Japan and run by the Yakuza, she was gambling with her life all the time.
The “silver haired boy with the Devil’s luck” that she played Russian Roulette with was ABSOLUTELY Nagito (at least in my hc since I think it’s based on a manga or something) That ALONE sounds a lot like him, and paired with the description of a “half-insane billionaire” AND the fact that it was Russian Roulette? That probably could’ve been him if it wasn’t a reference
tbh celeste had the perfect murder plan because she had an alibi the whole time. I just can’t respect Celeste as a character. There are quality’s she has that I just do not like in a person. The first thing is absolutely zero loyalty. She said it herself even from day 1 she was planning to kill she just let other people test the waters first. 2nd her motive for murder was entirely self absorbed so at her core she is selfish too. 3rd the murder she committed was the only one in danganronpa 1 that wasn’t spur of the moment and was completely planned out and she killed 2 people one of whom was the most innocent guy in the school. Celeste along with her accomplice I feel are the only one in the danganronpa 1 cast who did not deserve to make it.

I just can’t respect Celeste as a character.
There are quality’s she has that I just do not like in a person.
The first thing is absolutely zero loyalty.
She said it herself even from day 1 she was planning to kill she just let other people test the waters first.
2nd her motive for murder was entirely self absorbed so at her core she is selfish too.
3rd the murder she committed was the only one in danganronpa 1 that wasn’t spur of the moment and was completely planned out and she killed 2 people one of whom was the most innocent guy in the school.
Celeste along with her accomplice I feel are the only one in the danganronpa 1 cast who did not deserve to make it.
