This could be a minor observation but something that I really do miss when the older games is the randomness of them. Like I remember when you could put Legends into the story mode in Here Comes the Pain for instance and you could end up randomly feuding with George The Animal Steele because you turn down reading his book and Goofy stuff like that
I love the alternate ending in wwe 13 because I just imagine Big Show was hiding under the ring preparing to burst through and help Vince like he did historically but then when he heard stone cold escape he was like "oh shit" and just teleported to the entrance ramp.
I miss the Originality, Creativity, Uniqueness, Freedom & even the bad decisions of these older games, it makes you learn life lessons about never crossing a badass wrestler 😂 but all in all, there was so much re-play factor, that makes you want to play the mode again with the opposite branch being chosen to see what the difference was, something that is lacking in today's WWE Games

The one time that I did make a bad choice was probably in SVR 2005 because when your the WHC and you chose to side with Eric by not defending your title, it will eventually led to an elimination chamber match at Summerslam. I will say that the one game where you can’t seem to make a good choice no matter which is option you chose is SVR 2008 when trying to marry Stephanie McMahon. Whichever choice you pick, she’ll be left at the wedding by herself, the only thing that will be different is the match that you have.

One of, if not the first one, your guy comes out on the ramp after being called out, and your options are, “Talk trash on the microphone” “Run down to the ring and attack”. It was years before I realized that wasn’t one single sentence lol

Couple of examples I can think of is If you lose to undertaker in the 2011 rtwm then u fight Druids and I think it’s impossible to beat them. Another could be Chris Jericho 2009 rtwm. The week after randy Orton attacks John Cena. They face eachother for the wwe title and you are at ringside supporting Cena but no matter what you do randy will win.
I refused the help. I don't remember how, but an option earlier with replace Mysterio with someone else (I don't remember who). But, either way I refused the help because it was more fun that way. Tag matches in that game sucked lol.
The last one is why you're descions in wwe smackdown vs raw effects your situation like for example when you compete in the royal rumble and lose because you get eliminated you automatically still want a wwe or world heavyweight championship and Vince McMahon wants you to go for the wwe or world tagteam championship and you act like a ungrateful person and he says you don't deserve any titles and puts you in a 3on1 handicap match and you end up facing him in hell in a cell match at wrestlemania
When you take your belt back by force from Y2J and Orton on SvR the announcers act like your a bad guy for doing so and it still kinda punishes later on.
When games have better storylines then the actual shows
