It’s not glue it’s silicone caulk (which isn’t paintable)and you have to remove it completely with a razor blade first then they sell products to help remove the residue and or you can use a fine sandpaper. Then you can re-caulk with a paintable caulking. Cool idea by the way. Peace

@@KarlaAlexandra I have some experience. It looks great now, but it will fail at some point in the future. Few tips if you ever do this again. Sand your surface 220.....wet sanding is fine. You just wanna rough up the surface......clean with a degreaser. Use a coat of compatible primer.......and lastly. Two coats.....spray paint doesn't go on very thick.....building up the surface. (but I will say....great job for a "first try")

the respirator masks with say like a P100 filter doesn't keep you from breathing in fumes. the P100 and N95 filter masks are for particulate matter, not for fumes. the respirator you used doesn't protect you from fumes because fumes are not particulate. that stuff is probably better to spread on a paintbrush the spray can definitely went into your lungs. and that still has a lot of fumes. that shit is so nasty. i have used it because i have to sometimes.

    • @KarlaAlexandra

It’s held up well. Our three kids use this bathroom and they are not careful at all. There is one spot where it looks like one of them left a spray bottle can and it stained the counter top a bit. I would recommend this in a bathroom that does not have heavy traffic or at least not a kids/guest bathroom. I will definitely do this in my master bathroom because it is just me and my husband and we keep it clean, but with kids maybe not. This is not a permanent solution so I can deal with that stain.

Hi, can anyone please advise if this epoxy spray can be used on the Bath Tub or if anyone suggests any other simple to do spray for a bath tub

They sell a tile and tub kit for bath tubs. You can find it in Amazon or homedepot/lowes.

I used rustoleum topside marine paint. It works great

I sprayed my kitchen sink with this product and it turned out very grainy , not smooth; I called the company and they said the batch of that product was faulty . They will refund me and I am going to re sand and do it again

Mine is not grainy at all. Super smooth. Next time try applying from more than 6 inches away. I did very light coats as well.

How does it go with cleaning chemicals

It does fine. Just remember this is just a budget friendly solution. We have had this for a year and 6 months and it is still holding up but I don’t see it lasting forever. We have three teens using that sink and they are not always careful with it. Lol
