Thats awesome im jealous of you this was 36 years before i was born and is one of the doors best shows from 1970. This recording is a great listen but there are a few cuts and drop outs here and there so you were lucky enough to have experienced the whole show in person

This is, arguably, the best Doors concert with an audio recording. I could easily say it's my favorite of all their concerts.

It's definitely up there. I personally think their second show on the second night at the Felt Forum is their best show of all time. I also have to say that their Dallas 1970 early and late show are awesome because of all of the rare LA woman songs that were performed.

No. Presumably, some of their early 1968 shows in New York were the best of all. Morrison was a shadow of his former self by mid-1970. They still played all the old stuff, added this long jam and maybe 2 new songs just so that Morrison couldn't really mess up the gig.

I could be way off base; i'm presuming, based on laws that changed, talking about LSD in public was not tolerated, etc; seems only Hendrix continued to take¬ back off; the instrumental by Ray in #LightMyFire is reason I ask

Harrison Ford was a film crew assistant during the filming of Feast of Friends back in 1968. This concert, Harrison was not present.

Great recording and great show. I wonder if it could be subtly remastered to remove the bleed through in the right channel that was, presumably, from whatever was recorded to the tape before this. It would be nice to hear it without the added delay as well.
Also can they take out the audience sounds plus the bad language...

I honestly don't know? I got the Wav. Files from a Doors bootleg site years ago. I'm sure if you search ebay you may be able to come across it. If not then get a blank CD, an empty Jewel case, and make your own bootleg!
