Working at our fully equipped workshop in Kent we carry out tasks including Panel beating, Body work, Mig Welding, Sheet metal Spot Welding, Fabrication, Chassis Repairs, Sand Blasting, Engine and Mechanical repairs, DPF cleaning, Restoration and Structural repairs on the Celette Jig frame machine.

@@bertiedog7143 insurance on a cat car is the same price as a straight car the only thing the cat harms is the end value ie if the new owner had to make a claim

Clearly you disapprove of the salvage industry and the repair of salvaged vehicles so I'm not sure why you are watching a salvage channel. The insurance companies that you say charge more are the same companies that sell the salvage for repair. Insurance companies in the UK work with various auctions and agents to market the salvage and sell it to both trade and the general public. They recover millions of pounds per week selling salvage for repair and if they stopped every ones premiums would increase. Like it or not this industry is here to stay with insurance companies continually looking to increase recycling and reuse of damaged cars and parts to improve there green credentials. I can give many reasons why It IS a good idea to buy a repaired insurance write off and they are based on fact and over 30 years in this industry. We work hard to earn a honest living giving people a quality product and value for money with complete clarity.
@@bertiedog7143 That’s the problem with the insurance industry not the salvage side of things. This car is perfectly straight again and probably fitted better than factory. It’s also saves the environment from the dirty insurance industry. 🐀
I started watching your vids a few months ago,I enjoy them thanks for posting.Recently a Deer jumped out into the road in front of us and sadly the deer died instantly.Our Honda Civic sustained front end damage.We inherited the car a 2002 from my wife's late father so sentimental value is high.Anyway I stripped the front end and rebuilt the old girl because you gave me the confidence thank you.The old Honda 38,000 gen miles has many good years ahead of her

Love my Astra estate.. 1.7CDTI with over 150,000miles still drives like new (and getting 69mpg on a Motorway)
I love this program, cannot wait for the next one to arrive, down to earth with two honest straight-talking people(Rob&Chris) and they both put a load of hard work into what they do and always make sure it's done correctly, Love to buy one of the cars/vans they fix.

Absolutely brilliant build that, it’s a credit to you both. I have to say, it really winds me up when main agents do that with blanks and trims, they could’ve at least told you the grill/trims doesn’t come with the chrome or blanking plates when you placed the order but, at the price you paid it should’ve been on there!
You have sourced an excellent spray painter there.
A cracking collection of videos on a great little car - as you guys said from the start this was going to be a really nice motor when done, great spec & lovely low miles. At £4500 someone will get a great bargain - I've always liked this shape Astra & have to say I'd be tempted myself on this if it was an auto. Well done TEAM SRUK!!!!!

the fact you lads take these cars fix them back up to a solid standard and sell them below market value to be as fair as you can is outstanding, props lads.

a bumper with its own wiring loom, i remember the days of my citroen AX as my first car, dont think it even had that many wire in the whole engine bay haha

Another good series of videos. I’ve had Vauxhalls all my life and they are a lovely vehicle to drive. I wasn’t surprised what Perrys charged, they are notoriously expensive.
This was always going to be a top motor. The top spec Astra Estates are a great SH buy. The 1.6 petrol is not the fleet choice, so it usually has had a private owner, invariably low miles 👍 Although designed to be repaired, you and Rob make it look easy, but there is a lot of skill involved, one wrong move with the dozer and it is curtains! Some lucky person is going to get a very nice top end Astra Estate, in the right colour, at an incredible price. Well done guys 👍😎

The entry level spec 2015 Astra here in Australia was around $26,000 new. Private price guide these days is about $10,000. A very low mileage, super duper VXR sports thing can fetch $18k - $20k.

That’s a cracking little Astra 👍, seats nowadays can look a little rough at low miles, I inspect Volvos and some of those seats look terrible ! I am sure the warm weather has helped get some creases out. Great stuff again 👍

My Movano has got the same problem as I only use the van 2 days a month for my business, same repair needed, Caliper, disc, pads and both hb cables. Your truck is well looked after just like my van.

They were very expensive for a pair of rear lights for my car, and VAT on top, got a pair on Ebay much cheaper

There really is a crazy amount of work involved in rebuilding the front end. In the old days it was just a simple bolt on bumper with screw in number plate topped with a bolt or screw in one or two piece grill. Simples!
Nice job on vauxhall, but the rubber trim above the drivers side seat belt height adjuster is trapped. Cheers and good videos

The damage it had was heeps so your 800 was really a correct price
And then all it cost to fix
If you had paid their money and then all your costs to fix you would have made nothing

That's a bargain. I bought one last month same age 45k miles lower spec design model and paid 6k for it. I wish I'd have known this was coming up. Also a very underated car, drives nice and smooth.
