Phish - 06.11.00 - First Tube

from Hibiya Outdoor Theatre, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Japan
- re-edit of five songs from a summer 2000 Tokyo tv broadcast, focusing on the June 11th show at the outdoor theatre. Although it appears the entire concert was captured pro-shot, with the different camera angles edited together thruout, only five songs were shown during the tv broadcast: "First Tube", "Farmhouse", "Bug", "Back on the Train" and "Character Zero".
Is the footage still sitting in a vault at the Tokyo tv station, or have the Phish organization maybe secured the rights to the source footage?
It seems like a great candidate for a dvd release, as a lot of the editing work was already done back in 2000, and it looks pretty phine to me! Hopefuly eventually maybe a two-dvd release for the phans - it was a great show, the third show of the tour. . .
