Because of your advise and tips, I am moving from novice to almost intermediate skills as a Drone pilot. By following your settings advice, and downloading and using these apps you are suggesting, I am starting to feel more confident as I fly my drone. AND I am getting better images and video from my Mini 3 Pro. Thanks Matthew for sharing your drone knowledge!!!
Airmap is really useful We are leaving for Australia and NZ in a month and I'm bringing my drone Airmap allows me to see the legal flying areas in each of our stops. So I printed our itinerary and wrote down the spots I can fly at each stop while staying within the law
Hi Matt wonder if you can help here as I am very new to drones, I fly the Avata with goggles 2 my issue is I have a message that has popped up saying battery in low power mode even when freshly charged, it says change settings on goggles however I don’t know what settings can you help. Regards Rob
The two I would recommend are the Tahoe BP-150 (a smaller backpack) and the Gomatic PM 25L. The smaller Tahoe is more than big enough for the Mini 4 Pro!
@ I’ve gone for the Tahoe 150. On offer at Amazon, sadly the blue one went up £20 overnight so stuck to black haha! The little DJI bag is so tight…good for traveling on a plane I’d imagine, but walking the dog and getting some shots while out it’s too fiddly to get it all in and out safely I find.

Hey Matthew The Air Map app also is laanc approved for the FAA so if you are in controlled airspace and you are not in a zero block you can request Laanc approval to fly in that area. Before you used to have to call ATC. Now it's all on the internet.

UAV forecast has also one amazing feature -wind profile. There might be a low ground level wind speed, but as soon as you go higher it could get much stronger. Wind profile shows you different wind speeds at different heights. Great to prevent fly-aways.

I’ve saved a lot of your videos and I must say dude your videos are gna speed through my process of learning! Also I went to Northern Ireland last year whilst visiting Ireland and we went to the great causeways!

Matthew thanks for your tutorial videos I have learned so much over the last couple of months following you. I am using Inshot to edit my footage and I upload to Facebook to show family and friends. If I save the file as 4K a video of 2 minutes can take 1 hour to process. If I save the video as 1080 it will take about a minute. Is it worth the extra time and large file ?

I have a quick question for you. Can the DJI mini three do poi? For some reason I cannot get it to do it except in quick shots. Can you not to do it by tapping on the screen and drawing a box around the subject? Or is that only available in the DJI mini three pro???

One word: Dronecast app. Spare your eyes from horrible UI design. Also get gust and winds at different altitudes, set parameters, save up to 8 locations, and of course, see precipitation, wind direction, sunrise/sunset time, Temperature, visibility distance and cloud coverage. Then just scroll down and see all of this for any hour of the day. It's unbelievable that so many app developers have zero talent for basic modern UI/UX design.
Please do a new video, updating what are best apps now. Especially since AirMap is no longer supported. That was an awesome international airspace guide, but I don’t know what is good to replace it in May 2024.

Some handy app, but doing video on a phone is a pain. I hate it :) Rather wait till I get home with a nice cup of tea :)
For weather I use UAV Forecast and Ventusky. Ventusky have many options - temperature, wind gusts and more
