This crazy match was played out as a showmatch during TSL 5. If you missed it, here's your chance to catch the insanity. Who will be the last man standing?

Every time I think you have the best player intros you again prove me wrong by making an even better one. This was an awesome FFA. We want both the 1v1's and FFA's. I really like FFA's that have a time limit of some kind or a goal like this one. TLO went a little crazy and it was funny. So much was happening all at once and wow some of the comments from the players. If you can get going with 2 videos a week that's even better. Keep them coming!!
For me, the player comments were almost the best part. Between the begging for cash and the sour grapes, I was persuaded every last one of these guys REALLY wanted to win. I thought they'd just be in it for kicks and giggles, but they were as bitter as I can get. These guys are bred to compete.

Funny game but active moderation does not really make FFA better, I actually like those two hour long games where everything turns into politics --- the games of negotiation and betrayal are actually the cool part, even if the gms/casters always complain about it. Think about it---in the Hunger Games, did you root for the dudes who just wanted to play the game and kill each other, or the ones that tried to game the system?

It would be cool if there were more 10-year olds interested in Starcraft. I'd love for Blizzard to feel reassured the game wasn't aging out. But sorry, I do get that wasn't the point you were trying to make . Maybe feel free to take a look at some of the intros in my other vids and let me know if you dislike them globally, or if it was this particular one that rubbed you the wrong way. I'd love to learn from the viewers. As an interesting aside, Reynor started playing the game at just age 8.
I would love to see a Protoss vs Zerg vs Terran on a standard map!

dang you are great at commenting sc2 games, i wish Lowko was as good as you.... You should trying making more videos at a constant pace to upgrade your subscriber count. Maybe make 1 video per week? Doesnt matter if its not pro players just make more ffa
I wish I was in Lowko's league. I suspect my low output definitely hurts my UA-cam channel's chances of success. I do regularly put out one video every week (Sunday, 10:00 am EST), extras mid-week when I can, but I understand for a gamer channel that is much too low. Maybe one day when I retire I can get the production up! Thanks for the kind words Tusk! I agree we're overdue for some more FFA around here.
@@ZugzwangStarcraft well... I just found your channel yestaday so i didnt know you were uploading regularly. Well as they say, persistence is key to success. However i do have another tip: If you make a video that no one did before or something thats on high demand yet is rare to see, it should dramatically increase your popularity and have titles that people will be typing regularly on the search bar. For you that something is FFA StarCraft (thats how i found you channel in the first place) ffa games are on high demand yet rare to see because they are hard to cast so UA-camrs like Lowko avoids casting those. This is leaving a gap of opportunity for upstarts like yourself.

A great examply is Shoddycast vs oxhorn: Before fallout 76 was released, shoddycast was dominating when it came to fallout lore channels but when 76 came out, shoddycast (a channel with 2 million subs) hated it so much that they refused to cover it and so oxhorn, and so oxhorn a channel of less then a thousand subs took the opportunite to cover 76 himself and then expanded to the rest of the franchise and now oxhorn has more subs then shoddycast.

What im saying is, your channel could easily beat Lowko in popularity if you covered the parts that Lowko refused to do when Husky StarCraft quit. In fact Lowko only has about half the popularity that Husky had.
And FFA as well as things like bronze league heroes are the things Lowko is not doing.

The majority of StarCraft players are between bronze and platinum, they are not pro and so are not all the interested in the 1v1 pro games that lowko always casts.
Look at T-90Official he is a Age of Empires 2 youtuber, way more popular then Lowko yet the game is less popular then starcraft and the reason is quite simple: He covers everything on aoe2 that his subscribers want him to cover. Lowko only covers what Lowko wants to cover. Only reason Lowko got big is because when Husky quit, Lowko was the only youtuber left with the skills and knowledge to know whats going on a high level game, so Lowko just got lucky.

Your casting skills and knowledge is already superior to Lowko so please DO NOT QUIT. You have the potential of beating Lowko in popularity. You just to cover whats on high demand like bronze league heroes or ffa or even making a stream and play with your subscribers in ffa then casting the replay for a video on UA-cam (t90 does that alot)
