On a vacation to Scotland, my husband and I were graciously given a private tour through the old 14th century keep. I am a descendant of the Dundas Clan. Needless to say, it was a once in a lifetime experience.
My great great great grandfather or something further away built and reinforced this castle. James dundas the 11th of dundas chief of arms and clan chief of dundas and of fingask. Also screw William earl of dundas. He I'm imprisoned dundas son and he died in the castle. Further on in the direct male line about 3 or four generations my g. Grandfather was kind Duncan the generous brother. He died fighting Macbeth for the revenge of the death of his brother, the king Duncan. His my great something nephew avenged the king and my family by killing Macbeth. His name was Malcolm. He later became king

As a descendant of the Dundas this was a joy to watch. I so wish I could afford to visit. Until that day, I appreciate you give us a tour.
My 12th great-grandfather was the 17th Lord of Dundas, 16th, 15, etc.! Can't wait to see it.
