You obviously don't know Glasgow. Nobody cares about Arsenal or East Anglian accents in Glasgow. Different leagues, different countries. You might even be welcomed because you're neither Celtic nor Rangers, so not partisan.
@@samuelhutchison8433 100% Correct..I should have made it a lot more clear that I was specifically speaking about Glasgow City Centre, not the outskirts / schemes, which as you say, is a totally different matter!
Well the research can't have been that thorough. You used a Wikipedia description of the location for Aberdeen, Washington, U.S.A. ( Grays Harbour County ), when introducing Aberdeen, Scotland. Also, although the pronunciation is perfect, the English grammar has many basic errors. Have you been using a virtual assistant to do your "thorough" research and write the scripts?
The most dangerous thing in Scotland is going home to your wife with your wage packet opened. She knows then you went to the pub and or the Bookmakers.
Having travelled quite widely in the UK and many countries abroad their are dangerous areas in all countries, Scotland.England New York Barcellona ect.
I love Glasgow, never felt threatened there. Years ago, my old mum went to Glasgow to buy curtain material from Remnant Kings (RIP). She was lugging a big heavy bag of fabric on her way back to the railway station when a "ned" ran across the road to her and said, "gimme that bag maw, I'll carry it for you", and he carried it all the way to the station and talked about his gran the whole way. And no, he didn't steal/beg/demand anything, in case you're wondering. Just wanted to help an old lady. Another time I was in Glasgow, crowded streets, Sunday morning near The Barras - a young guy ran up behind another young guy and hit him over the head with a bottle, then ran away. The victim chased after him shouting, "Come on then!". Passers by seemed quite amused by it 😂 That was years ago too. Like most cities, horrible to drive in if you're not familiar.
Glasgow has a reputation for being a friendly place. People are friendly there, talkative, and helpful. Can't speak to the crime. There are a lot of pubs and food places. Huge shops.
I am in Aberdeen City .2 yrs + - you are right - is not that big really and I havent found it dangerous at all..externally Although my Letting agent have systematically tried to blow me up with cooker and electricute me in the bath.Other than that it has some really good shops and coffee places But it has the main Airport directly to Scotland so has a lot of activity from that I would guestimate
This is chock full of errors and quite a bit of garbage. To point out TWO errors-- 1- Aberdeen, Scotland DOES'NT have the Chehalis River flowing into it----the Chehalis River is in Washington State, in the U.S.A. ! and 2 - Dundee, Scotland, is NOT in England!!!!!!
It just goes to show that even satistics can be badly collated.I have spent time in all of these areas and have never seen anything untoward.I happen to think that there are a lot more run down ,deprived and dangerous places to live in England such as that shit hole called London.
Absolute nonsense! I have lived or worked in most of these places, I found much more dangerous places when I was in London and Manchester! I'm not saying you should not be cautious as you would in any location but this generalisation of some fine areas is over the top!
In 1992 I spent a couple of months living in a bed and breakfast in Manchester England and I saw some crazy things. The B&B was notorious to begin with.It was nicknamed Storming Normans guesthouse.Anyway it was close to an arena where bands would play and some of the guys who also lived in the guesthouse controlled these carparks where they would charge people money to park their cars for concerts. One night two guys got into a knife fight over the carparks. Another day two guys were beating the crap out of each other right outside the room where we watched TV in and later that night the two guys who were fighting were drinking together I thought that was hilarious. The stuff that went on around this guesthouse was like a Guy Ritchie movie Lock stock and two smoking barrels or one of the other ones it was hilarious. If you try to avoid trouble you should be ok in most cities in the UK,but if you go looking for trouble or mouth off to the wrong person in any city you could end up regretting it.
Exactly, I feel extremely safe in Scotland i didn’t realise people thought Aberdeen was unsafe? ( not going to get started that he was talking about Aberdeen in another fuming country- )
Lived in Shettleston in the early 1970s, and got mugged once. I was walking with my transistor radio and my guard dog (big Alsatian), when two BIG guys stopped me told me to hand over the radio. I unleashed my guard god, and it ran off (showed up at my door a few hours later). Anyway, I started walking fast, with them following me. I turned a corner and there were two cops standing around talking. I explained about the guys following me, and they told me to walk on, and they'd take care of it. They did. Saw the same two guys a few weeks later, and they drew me a dirty look, but never bothered me again.
north lanarkshire is very hit and miss. being living in north lanarkshire after moving out from glasgow i can confirm most areas have got some nice ends and some not so nice. i live in Viewpark just north of uddingston and near coatbridge. the council part is where the roughest ppl stay but my area is generally good
I’m from north Lanarkshire also , Airdrie . No such thing as a council estate as a lot of the homes are privately owned now so we have council tenants living side by side with people who bought old council homes . My daughter has a young professional couple who bought the house next door the woman is in the police. At the top of the hill there’s a new estate with private homes but it’s in the heart of an old council estate. This is a good thing all children mixing together regardless of class etc
London is worse than all 5 of these combined I've been to Scotland a few times now and only 1 incident that was resolved pretty fast Been to London once and left by lunch. What a shite hole that place is with teens from immigrant families following you around prepping to mug you at any given chance.
None of these places are the worst. I did my driving lessons in Dumbarton and I’ve lived over 10 years on the west coast. Try Larkfield Greenock or Robert street port Glasgow, Easterhouse in east Glasgow, site hill Glasgow, Mary Hill Glasgow, Lieth Edinburg, Coatbridge North Lanarkshire. Castlemilk Glasgow and the one and only Ferguslie Park Paisley. These are dangerous places.
Where or who's done you're research really does need to get out more. There's good and bad anywhere and everywhere . If we all took note of this we'd never go anywhere. But personally the Scots are well down to earth people with a great sense of humour. So Mr researcher what your preaching here is definitely dangerously tripe. Scotland take note! Your the best. Xx
Not sure where you did the research, but first of all, its not specific enough, north lanarkshire is probably about the biggest council area landmass in the UK, about 20 tmes the landmass of greater london, and yes there are dodgy areas, but also some of the nicest areas too. Aberdeen isn't unsafe, I lived in the city centre and would walk across the town at 3am, never any trouble, never saw anyone, everyone friendly. Equally Glasgow is a big area with some dodgy areas mainly in the east of glasgow I'd say, but also again some of the nicest, most expensive places in Scotland to live also.
As an American I can't imagine what would be considered crime or dangerous in Scotland. Going on walks or hikes here you may end up raped or murdered. Going to a concert you may end up mugged or murdered or worse, in a mass shooting. I can't imagine what it's like to not have to constantly be aware of your surroundings.
There's hardly any guns here is Scotland. I heard that the police know every gun's "signature" because there are so few, the criminals have to pass them about. Scotland is safe. I live here, not been mugged.
I would bet 50% of the crime in North Lanarkshire is all in the dunghole known as South Carbrain, but even here the worst crime I have witnessed was some very nasty littering - or is, as it's ever ongoing.
What a load of unadulterated tosh. Do you actually listen to this rubbish before you put it on u-tube? The mistakes are horrific. Dundee is the worst place for women to stay in ENGLAND,? As for where you have Aberdeen situated. What continent were you talking about?
I'm from north Lanarkshire and there is no real danger other than the occasional "young team" goes its perfectly safe not to say the "young team" is causing any harm
In Glasgow you really need to be involved in crime to become a victim of it hence why it was the murder capital of Europe back in the mid 2000's but almost every murder that happened the person knew his killer, and there was a lot of murders at one point nearly one or 2 every day and a handful over the weekends not to mention 100s of serious assaults with mostly knifes every week. but back then the population was a lot lower, housing schemes where packed and rife, now a lot of places have been pulled down so territorial violence has be actually been more than halved in the past 17 years so its actually got better than you're making out.
Thus is utter rubbish! I was brought up in Dundee and now stay in west Dunbartonshire which is so friendly and beautiful also Dundee us not in England Get your facts right! Every town or city in the world have bad areas but Dundee and Glasgow the most dangerous? Also saying women are not safe in Dumbarton I'm 66yrs old and never felt safer As I said it's rubbish! Stop trying to scare people visiting these beautiful places in Scotland!
"If you live in Scotland, and hope to enjoy the good things that the United Kingdom has to offer the Scots"? Permanent Fascist Conservative government a majority of the Scottish electorate have not voted for since 1955?

Having recently been to Sarajevo, I found it incredibly safe...haha...but seriously, these videos are pretty poor...don't know why I am wasting my time...
Wow Scotland looks nice. Old fashioned buildings. The people and cars. What's Scotland Yard? Since it's Scotland I thought there would be more countryside. No offense, I didn't see any criminals in the pictures.
Having moved from Washington State in America to Aberdeen Scotland, it made me laugh really hard that you described the geographic location of Aberdeen Washington, not Aberdeen Scotland at 2:19 😂😂😂
Never felt more at unease than walking around Wembley Park on my own, and I’m a 6ft2” handy and unhinged bastard from Glasgow!!!!!! Never had any issues from the places mentioned in the video!!!!
When someone makes the effort to produce a video, I am always reluctant to sound too negative. I know all five areas fairly well and perhaps being a male over six feet tall means I am less likely to be a victim of crime on the streets at least, but I have never felt particularly unsafe in any of the five areas. As others have stated, visitors are unlikely to spend much, if any, time in some of the rougher areas, unless they are there to visit relatives or for some other specific reason. I grew up in Edinburgh and saw the Wester Hailes estate being built near my grandparents' house. I also spent most of my childhood and adolescent years less than a mile from Craigmillar. Both Wester Hailes and Craigmillar were areas of great deprivation and I rarely visited them. Both had high crime rates, c.f. drug scenes in Wester Hailes in the film 'Trainspotting' were a micky-take on what was really happening. I would imagine most visitors to Edinburgh only leave the city centre to visit the royal 'yacht' Britannia in Leith Harbour though. Similarly, Rubislaw (Aberdeen), Balloch (West Dunbartonshire), Kilsyth (North Lanarkshire), Broughty Ferry (Dundee) and Hillhead (Glasgow) don't feel like they are hotbeds of crime, or certainly not serious organised crime.
Almost everything about this is either wrong or misconceived. Others have already pointed out the (many) factual errors. And much of the analysis comes down to the obvious fact that big cities have more crime than rural areas. But I take particular issue with the title words ‘most dangerous’ - which imply that you are taking your life in your hands by even visiting these places. The statistics quoted (rather badly) are about relative crime rates, not ‘danger’. Whether you personally are in danger - which is very rare - depends on exactly where you are, when, who you are and what you are doing. Most of the time we are all fine, thank goodness.
Where did you get your source from? I have lived in 2 of the cities mentioned and never felt unsafe. I lives in The Bahamas and spent months every year in Scotland. Love the country and the people.

It sounds like I am missing something on a Friday or Saturday night Gary,
I seen 2 guys being knocked out in the street on a Saturday night on Sauchie hall street within 15 mins and separate incidents , where you been hiding?
@@Thismanisright I missed that one.
Took 2 minutes to get to the point and the then talked complete crap.
I'd expect that the most dangerous place to be in Scotland would be outside a Pub just after closing time in a rough Glasgow neighbourhood wearing an Arsenal jersey and sounding like you're from East Anglia,
People probably would care if you wore green outside a blue pub or Visa versa. Nobody is going to kill you over arsenal.
You obviously don't know Glasgow. Nobody cares about Arsenal or East Anglian accents in Glasgow. Different leagues, different countries. You might even be welcomed because you're neither Celtic nor Rangers, so not partisan.
@@alicemilne1444 I'm a foreigner making a joke. My people left Glasgow in sailing ships.

In relation to Glasgow crime “efforts have not resulted in noticeable results with only a 25% reduction in crime”… 25% reduction? That’s huge!!!
I've slept rough on the streets of Glasgow, and wouldn't consider it dangerous at all!
You probably slept rough in the city centre which is very safe but stray into some of the housing scheme then another matter...
@@samuelhutchison8433 100% Correct..I should have made it a lot more clear that I was specifically speaking about Glasgow City Centre, not the outskirts / schemes, which as you say, is a totally different matter!
I've skippered as well been in some really dangerous situations it's definitely not safe
@rosswhitehill3207 100% not safe.
I think that you need to change your description of where Aberdeen is !
The rivers you mentioned in Aberdeenshire don't exist, they are NOT in Scotland.
I lived in Glasgow for 10 years and it was lovely. Most beautiful honest people i ever came across.
The most dangerous thing in Scotland is going home to your wife with your wage packet opened. She knows then you went to the pub and or the Bookmakers.
Im English lived her two years n Scotland is really downed to earth place.
Absolute rubbish. Scotland is not a dangerous place nor are the places you mentioned.
I know and I lived in Glasgow my whole life and it’s not dangerous
Having travelled quite widely in the UK and many countries abroad their are dangerous areas in all countries, Scotland.England New York Barcellona ect.
New York and Barcellona (sic) are not counties. XD
This resonates and is a good anecdote of what Glaswegian people are like. Thank You.
West Dumbarton is dangerous gosh I grew up
there I moved overseas I still have family there and they say it’s not dangerous at all
I live in West Dunbartonshire and its sound.. its definitely not a city.. we've got a nice big new court though lol
West dumbartonshire does have high crime, Clydebank being number one
@@GlasgowBandit Majority of crime in Clydebank is committed by neds from the Drum, Yoker and nearby scumholes.
Glasgow has a reputation for being a friendly place. People are friendly there, talkative, and helpful. Can't speak to the crime. There are a lot of pubs and food places. Huge shops.
Aberdeen is actually smaller than many towns in England, Northampton, Reading and Milton Keynes to name three..

Thorough research, is Dundee in England now!
They can have it.
where the hell is greenock in this
Lol
It just goes to show that even satistics can be badly collated.I have spent time in all of these areas and have never seen anything untoward.I happen to think that there are a lot more run down ,deprived and dangerous places to live in England such as that shit hole called London.
I grew up in Maryhill in the 70’s with a lot of sociopaths. They were mostly okay with me, and nowadays the ones still alive are old men.
Have you actually been to Scotland?
Your report is utter crap!
There are no dangerous places to stay in Scotland
London is worse than all 5 of these combined
I've been to Scotland a few times now and only 1 incident that was resolved pretty fast
Been to London once and left by lunch. What a shite hole that place is with teens from immigrant families following you around prepping to mug you at any given chance.
Broughty Ferry Beach ⛱ was voted the best in Europe 😎💪
Holiday resort of choice from the Lochee residents. Bring yer own needle.
🤔🧐 Have you ever actually set foot in any part of Scotland?
Who is this roaster
What is this about, please?
None of these places are the worst. I did my driving lessons in Dumbarton and I’ve lived over 10 years on the west coast. Try Larkfield Greenock or Robert street port Glasgow, Easterhouse in east Glasgow, site hill Glasgow, Mary Hill Glasgow, Lieth Edinburg, Coatbridge North Lanarkshire. Castlemilk Glasgow and the one and only Ferguslie Park Paisley. These are dangerous places.
Ferguslie is in a whole other tier of dangerous to anywhere else in Scotland in my opinion
The commentary is awful. It is one long Montone
This is a nonsense and lacking any real research
Stayed in shettlston Glasgow Scotland 70s Best years great people. 100%.👍
Well done you should go see the nice castle at castlemilk remember to take your expensive camera the local wildlife will soon relieve you of it.
Why did you keep showing images of Oban when it wasn't on this list?
What a load of unadulterated tosh. Do you actually listen to this rubbish before you put it on u-tube? The mistakes are horrific. Dundee is the worst place for women to stay in ENGLAND,? As for where you have Aberdeen situated. What continent were you talking about?
Now do the same exercise in england
is this a machine voice ?
I had to go to East Kilbride once. 😮
Didn't stay long.
Why so many pictures of Edinburgh when that city is not even on this rather dubious list ?
Mate what qualifies you to make any judgment on my country.
"If you live in Scotland, and hope to enjoy the good things that the United Kingdom has to offer the Scots"?

Having recently been to Sarajevo, I found it incredibly safe...haha...but seriously, these videos are pretty poor...don't know why I am wasting my time...
Wow Scotland looks nice. Old fashioned buildings. The people and cars. What's Scotland Yard? Since it's Scotland I thought there would be more countryside. No offense, I didn't see any criminals in the pictures.
Having moved from Washington State in America to Aberdeen Scotland, it made me laugh really hard that you described the geographic location of Aberdeen Washington, not Aberdeen Scotland at 2:19 😂😂😂
Dumbarton(shire) sharing a border with Renfrewshire is a cracker, a rather doggedly cracker, if you count The Firth of Clyde as a border!!
I had to laugh at that one😄This guys not got a Scoobie😄He also said it shares a border with Bute🤪🤪

Utter pish
Since when was Dundee in England?
It appears to have moved! A bit like Berwick maybe that doesn’t know which country it wants to be in!
Love the country and the people.
well you aren't a woman. Plenty of women get attacked and raped by men in these places and they have Rape Centres for women to visit.
