After smoking for years I’ve found the best method that works for me is a soft flame lighter and it’s important for me to slowly toast the cigar to a full light BEFORE cutting it. I do this in a calm indoor setting and when lit correctly, it is the most satisfying smoke, no pepper, no harshness, just the most delicious stogie no matter the roller no matter the type of cigar. It takes a lot longer than usual to light this way but very rewarding.
I really enjoy these longer videos. It's kewl to see how other people around the world smoke, their rituals and habits or just the little quarks each person picks up after years of smoking. You seem like a awesome guy, it'd be awesome to sit down and have a smoke with you. 🥂
Outstanding content, very relaxed without someone calling people names or being ignorant. I Subscribed a while ago; sorry it took me so long to find your channel. Wonderful advice. I am not one to rush through a Cigar. I want to enjoy it etc. Sometimes I fall asleep with music, coffee and my favorite Cigar on the back porch. My wife has to wake me up. Retired and trying to enjoy life now and my favorite cigar. Thank you, Looking forward to catching up on your videos. Stay safe and God Bless Kevin
You are so very right about everything you showed in this video and were very descriptive about how a cigar is properly lit an expert like yourself has much knowledge when it comes to cigars and how everything about them work I don't even need to tell you anything cause I'd just be telling you something you already knew well except for your videos rock
I just came across your videos maybe almost a week ago now an im hooked. Just finally got both feet into thw cigar world an its just beautiful. Your videos are so easy to understand an so much information thank you.
I appreciate your videos. It really helped me understand a lot more about cigars. Thanks Jasim. I hope you can upload the full extend of the Habanos course you made a few weeks ago.
A great educational videos from an hombre habano . Always enjoying your videos Jasim . I'm really impressed by your passion to cigars , it's really paradigmatic. Congratulations once again hermano.
I found your channel 2 days ago and today i smoked my first Hoyo de Monterrey Epicures No.2, probably should've went with cheaper one but, I enjoyed it anyway. Thank you for the great guides 👊
I also might add that I happen to use powerful jet stream lighters. And the overheating can happen very fast. So it takes experience. I can light my cigar in a couple of seconds without overheating. I smoke mostly outdoors, there is wind and other methods will not do. If I am in a lounge, I take a piece of cedar wood.
Never let the flame touch the cigar. It will over heat and burn hot. And you toast the cigar. Hold the flame away from the cigar. I have done both methods and toasting it has a better result....
People say to toast the cigars but they never go into what to look for when toasting. lol Very helpful. Not being sarcastic to you. Being sarcastic to all the content creators that do what I said above. Am I looking to blacken the foot of the cigar or turn the whole foot to ashes or am I looking for flame on the foot or am I looking for no changes in the foot or what for god's sakes. lol And they don't even show what the foot looks like when well toasted so that helps lol
I tuned in real good for 5 mins, I had to snap out of it, I felt like he was bouta tell his bodyguards to chop my arm off for not lighting it correctly
"Ligne No 2, nothing fancy here." Googles price... $1,665 That does look like a fantastic lighter though. I'd get one for that sound alone if it wasn't so pricey.
Pour l’extérieur je prend mon briquet torche et chez moi des longues allumettes qui m’ont était offert par LCDA de Luxembourg quand je leurs est acheter des cigares. Merci pour toutes ces informations. Et tu as une collection de briquet magnifique

Isi it ok to store partially smoked cigars in a humifdor, or will it affect the aroma in other cigars?

Por qué no haces videos también en español? Gracias por tu trabajo
When u relight the cigar, what u do exactly to make the flame jump on the foot? U blow in it or u draw ?
I'm not him but you pull like you suck on a straw.
Don't inhale though. Cigar smoke is not supposed to go into your lungs.
