Yes. This. I have gone back to home dressmaking, because as an overweight, older person, I do not want diamantes plastered all over my large boobs. I want to look elegant, or at least smart. Cute is not, and never has been, my style. So the needle and thread had to come out.
i keep toying with this idea of making my own clothes..... not sure if i need to go on a course or just watch tutorials on youtube.. i'm really trying to embrace who i am now; just not always sure who that is!? hahaah
so much is better than it used to be, and things will continue to improve ( i hope!) i just wish they would put a little more care and thought into how they design/present clothes.. ahhhhh no more glittery butterflys please!
About 10 years ago I LOVED M&S, I had this gorgeous red dress with birds on that I wore till it fell apart! Then it all seemed to go a bit rubbish…. Maybe I need to give them another go 🤔🤩 I’ve been thinking about trying matching skirts and tops to see if it helps the pear situation 😂
@@hayley-DNA it did go downhill for a while but has definitely improved. I also follow Rosie Henshaw on here and she dresses her pear shape beautifully. She wears skirts and tops and it definitely compliments the pear shape! I am so grateful for people like you and Rosie for empowering women to feel good about themselves and for the raw honesty. It’s so refreshing ❤️🩷❤️🩷

It seems that at least the bigger sizes being more expensive thing is being phased out, thank goodness! It used to drive me batty!

Love your vlogs! Thank you. I think M&S have some nice dresses at the moment that look nice on. I’m also a plus pear shape.
