In these video tutorials, I normally use Bakels Premixes to save on time.
(Bakels is a bakery grade cake premix. Another great one is Allied Mills)

Thank you guys so much for watching! this cake is much easier than she looks ;) I used a rubber brayer here because its nice and hard with very minimal flex. If you were to use a sponge brayer and press onto the cake, the sponge would bend between the crevices and touch the coloured stripes, which would look all messy. So try using a hard brayer rather than a soft sponge one for this effect :)

OMG Rossieeee, you just gave me an amazing idea! Everytime my daughter wants popcorn she says "mami, i want a popcorn party" soooo her Bday is in 2wks and it will be Dora theme, which Dora sings a song about a popcorn party. I will be doing this cake and post it here for you 💞
love the results! Those combs are hard to use... I normally scrape to much off but yours is perfect. The gold really pops on this too and using a brayer is brilliant!

Hi Rosie.. I've been religiously watching your videos for years and i really love your originality.🙋💖🎀 Nobody styles buttercream like you . The way you work with buttercream is exquisite and satisfying to watch.. The only thing i can't understand and it drives me crazy is how to smooth out buttercream.. I can do rosettes and ruffles but when it comes to smoothing out a layer, i fail miserably... 😔
