The jacket really turned out cute. It looks so cozy. The welt pocket instructions were more complicated than they needed to be. Congrats on 2 years! Enjoy all of your videos.
You are a lifesaver, I bought this pattern and have been very intimidated by it, until I saw this today, thank you for doing such wonderful tutorials ❤
That was a well spent 2 hours for me! The jacket turned out beautiful and looks great on you! Happy second anniversary! I've enjoyed all your makes and have your instructions in my head during my sewing projects!!😂😂 Thank you!
kudos for you for getting those pockets in. I have never seen such a complicated way to do welted pockets. It turned out really cute. Thanks for all the teaching you do.
I really like this jacket now. The pattern wasn't as pretty as your verision is. I thank you for your time you put in this videoes. I have made one of your pattern vidoes and you made it so simple.
Have you thought of doing a show case of all or maybe of the "pieces" you've made that "you love" over the past two years. Or items that you truly enjoyed making and wearing. Or just making for the Littles in your life, the two-legged and the four. 😊
Congrats on the 2 year anniversary! I know I've really enjoyed watching your videos (over & over & OVER)! I always learn something. I have to admit... When I see you pick out a Sean with those razor blades, I start to hyperventilate... That just freaks me out! I've been looking for a good iron with lots of steam... I actually ordered one (it's actually arriving today... Can't wait!). Thanks for another fun project... can't wait to see what next!
I always enjoy every aspect of your videos, from the opening montage, clear to the end! Even the music! I often find it running through my head during the day. As a former farm girl, I enjoy the remembered nostalgia of seeing green pastures, the trees and especially your various animal/critters. Moving on to the real subject: Your jacket is very cute! Looks comfortable, utilitarian, while still being stylish! I love the combination of fabrics, especially the black and white instruction button material! The fabrics all complemented each other nicely. It was an unusual combination, but it all came together. Your ribbon trim and the buttons added a delightful dimension, And the turn- back cuffs really look sharp. I would wear the jacket with black jeans, or pink jeans, or (God forbid!) a pair of white pants. Nice work! Congratulations on your 2nd anniversary! Looking forward to much more to come!
I just put in my first welt pockets- 3 days of trying to master them before I cut into my real project. Glad to know that they they are tricky and not just my lack of brain power. Love your cozy jacket. A bit of cheer on these cold days.
This was a crazy way there is a much easier way. You may find it on utube a easier way. I couldn't believe a Simplicty pattern showed this way. Best in your sewing
Two years Marie - hasn't it gone in a whirl? I've loved all your vids and if I can't watch a new one straight away when it comes out I 'set it aside' as an incentive/treat to look forward to while I get less enjoyable things done. Congratulations - I'm looking forward to seeing what you do next!
It looks way better on you than the dress form. I quite like it. The button hole info fabric looks just right with the black solid and the black accents in the floral print. The pink lining brings everything together. I thought it would be an easier make, being a relaxed shape. Maybe to get the quilted look like on the envelope front one needs to use a pre-quilted fabric, and if it were pre-lined as well then lining it could be skipped.
Thank you for the video! If I ever learn to embrace hand stitching I will definitely make this! I like the way yours turned out! I could always use a “cardigan “ type of jacket. This was a gift because I may have begun the project only to put it in a time out until I wanted to sit and stitch.😂
I love watching your sewing projects. I can see how they look then i can find the pattern. I though a black line between sections, -- then you added a rubbon it just finshed off that area nicely. I am needing a new light jacket, old one far too large Yah!! Love the pattern and the sleeves let one wear various sleeves under it. GOD BLESS from Canada 🇨🇦
Great video! Very cute jacket ... we have a country property (off grid) that we spend a lot of time at in the summer ... you've inspired me! Thinking of this one for country visits😊😉
I love watching you sew! Learning many hints and ideas. I have a question n what kind of punch do you use for marking the circles on your pattern pieces? It looks like it would make a hole in the fabric. Thanks!
Two years already! Thank you so much for all your inspirational teaching Marie.. cute jacket! 😀
Cute and useful!

Happy 2nd anniversary. I'm an avid watcher and love what you do, and I don't mind you either 😂😂 just kidding, you are amazing ❤❤
I like that you talk as you work and explain why you use certain techniques! Very fun to learn from you!!!😊

Two years already, a big 👏 🎊 😊
This jacket surprised me that it turned out cute with all the different designs. Great job. I enjoy learning from you
When you layered the floral and button fabric together I thought, “that’d be cute with a contrast ribbon or piping.” 🌈🌈🦋🦋
Such a fun coat. I appreciate your channel a lot 😊
Love the pink floral fabric! So pretty and cheerful. Thanks for sharing your spectacular new jacket project. 🎉

It turned out great ❤, I’m going to look for some lightweight quilted fabric to see if that would work
Congratulations on being on youtube for 2 years❤
Marie, your jacket came out lovely. I like the design details, and your fabric choices.
You did a great job, it’s so cute.
Congratulations ❤🎉🎉🎉
I love the jacket. Lots of learning details.
I don't think you can have enough jackets.
Your calves were very cute playing with the chickens. ❤
