Honda Highness CB350 Side Panels And Underseat Storage Space Are Disappointing

- You've seen it from the outside, and now, it is time to see what lies within. The reason why I shot this video is to highlight the quirky design that Honda decided to go with on the Highness CB 350.
I don't like it - it is not convenient, and I'd prefer the conventional way of using the regular motorcycle key and quick release latches. The lack of storage space is appalling too.

This is actually disappointing. Matlab when someone needs first aid in an emergency. Have to go through this puzzle. That's rather a shitty quirk.

Actually first aid kit and documents should have key provision and battery side might have allenkey setup....

@@6s9hcr2 If you fell down accidentally with that wound and pain and i dont feel practicality you cant open the side cover with key and then have to grab the allen key then unscrew the other side to get the first aid kit....Lol

To be fair anyone who knows which wire to cut can steal the bike faster. It is a bike bro not a tank. Same system in Yamaha FZ too.
Why steal side panel....if one can steal the whole thing .....just by cutting one wire, one must know the colour

In my opinion Meteor cant outmatch highness in any manner, except for that RE badging and attracting customers.
Its high time Honda should bring and advertise the highness in each and every town possible.

A very important and integral part of any bike explained in the most pleasing manner. Qudos. There is no doubt the Honda Hness 350 is a great bike. But I guess this is only the con of this bike. Great video.

Abhinav bro ,the remaining videos regarding the bike to be made before handing over the bike to mamaji are:
1)Accessories on the bike
2) Bluetooth connectivity, the roadsync app and its useability while riding.
3) Heating
4) Mileage test after 1st service
5) Second service video😂
6) And ofcourse the bike handing over ceremony to mamaji 😂.

3. There's no heating issue yet according to him.
@@monochrome_linux his video on accesories was just showing their image. What I meant was to show them in real and also after it is fitted to the bike.
@@akr8795 for that he have to buy all accessories and fit them in. I don't think he will go through that trouble. I am sure some other channels would make a video out of it.

Bro,is it possible that the seat can be replaced by meteor kind of seat?
Hi Abhinav. Do you think there is scope to shave off some foam from the seat to reduce seat height a bit? And are the accessory split seat available in the showroom?
Just picked up green.
Initial impressions: all good except
1) position of horn. Its above indicator. Atleast direction of pressing should have been in ward than outward. In spite of having long fingers, have to hold handle close to switch gear to press horn.
2) stupid to have front indicators always ON. Wny should headlights always be ON. Yeah unlike halogen bulbs, LED has loooong life but still. Could have been a fancy ring or strip like its in cars as DRL.
3) To open air filter compartment on right side where there is place to put docs, you have to open battery compartment with key, take a neatly hidden Allen key from there and use it to remove air filter compartment. Crazy...
4) seat is not firmly bolted. It kind of shakes. It slides into a slot and just held in place by a small Allen screw.
5) I am 6'2". Would have preferred foot pedals couple of inches ahead. This is personal preference.
6) Showroom guys say adding 2nd horn to DLX might void warranty. Honda should let me add 2nd horn like in Pro model at showroom without voiding warranty.
So apart from these issue to get used to, bike is awesome

Abhinav if we install a top box it will be a hassle to remove the seat if required.hope Honda makes a few changes cause if we loose the screw due to vibrations then the rider will be in problem.hope the company looks into the matter.Does the byke comes with a kick start along with electric start.what about a main stand .if there is any issue with the battery while riding do the lights work with the dynamo like the other bikes or will we have to do alterations after we buy it.do pls try to answer all my queries .Tc
The Allen Key is stupid. It costs like ₹50 for an Allen key. Anyone can buy it and open your storage and steal shit. Ditto seat.
The key is unique to your bike.
That would be much more secure (wrt Theft protection)
Yes. Everyone will know in few days that seat and side box of hiness open with Allen key. Critical mistake by Honda.👎

Dada.. Yesterday I bought Honda Highness Deluxe pro, bike is very nice as you share to your video, but after reached at home from show room I suddenly see that there is engine oil Leake.. Please suggest me what to do now, is it possible to replace the bike to another new one? The distance between show room and my residence is almost 90km.

The cb350 has only one competitor
It's not a competitor. Different seating geometry hence a slightly different category and also a clearly more powerful better performing engine on the highness. Meteor has a niche however it's a proper low slung cruiser with forward footpegs. I don't think the market of two should have even collided in the first place. I don't get it how people are completely ignoring that one is a retro classic looking bike the other is a low slung cruiser.
