    Hands down one of the finest fox bodies I've ever seen/heard. What an amazing color too.. I once had a hatch the same color but it wasn't as clean as this. I've had this video bookmarked for over a year or two now and this is one of the Mustang-related vids that I keep coming back to watch again every so often. That's a BADASS car, brother! Take care of it and never sell it, what a gem.

      Slingshot - Thank you for the very nice comment. Since this video I have done some slight changes. I now have a cowl hood and a custom intercooler. The cage is painted and black interior installed. Fine tuning with the Holley Dominator is coming in the spring. I’ll put up more videos next season!

    Awesome setup! Sounds mean I love that cam lope. I would of personally done a single turbo setup because you can make more power, its cheaper, easier to work on, and a monster single turbo sounds amazing!

    • @NASTFOX
      @NASTFOX  6 років тому +3

      A Person: To each their own bud. I personally wanted this specific setup because it spools instantly....A single turbo for this combo would have been very laggy especially for the street & not what I wanted....As far as power I am not sure what you mean....with twin 76's this has more power at only 10lbs of boost to push it easily into single digit 1/4 times. And as far as what sounds amazing it brings a shitty grin from ear to ear every time I lean on it.

    • @aperson4933
      @aperson4933 6 років тому +1

      Eh, I guess I can understand that. Although Garrett makes instant spooling turbos that you run in a single turbo setup. Like we're talking peak boost at 3000 rpm; with a single turbo (you can also run them in a twin setup). But those are smaller turbos really only good for 500 - 600 hp. I really think its the cost, simplicity, and more power that really set off the single turbo system. A single turbo will always make more power. But you are using two 76mm turbos? How the fuck is that not laggy? And you are running single digits in the quarter mile? Holy shit. You have a cage in the car, right? Also, when do you reach peak boost; at what rpm? And how much power are you making to the rear wheels?

    • @NicolaosMichelakis
      @NicolaosMichelakis 4 роки тому +1

      A Person 3k rpm isn’t instant. Especially in a big cube sbf where most people only rev to 6500 to maybe 7200. And low end torque is a friend.

      @@aperson4933 Garrett Instant Spooling Turbos ? Never heard of them. I'm gonna be running a GTX5544R haven't decided on the 102 or 106 yet. Engine is a 521 Stroked BBF, Gonna be blow thru. • @NASTFOX
      @NASTFOX  5 років тому +8

      change my mind - it’s a very costly setup. If I told you the price it wouldn’t mean anything. Building a car from the ground up is expensive. Lotta time, money, research and pain. There is a laundry list of parts and extras people don’t take into account like bolts, washers, gaskets all kinds of odds and ends that really add up as well. My advice is do your research and talk to the pros to save time and money. Then slowly build your car.

    • @NASTFOX
      @NASTFOX  7 років тому +2

      Arr Jee: The sound I believe you are looking for comes from a pushrod motor like mine, a 347 or a Chevy 5.3 LS. 5.3 is a LS Chevy motor and many people are getting them on the cheap and they make big power most on borrowed time depending how much hp you want. 347 is a nice motor. It all depends on your goals and what block and parts you use. I would 100% keep it EFI or (computer as you say) it is much easier to tune and street friendly. Modular motor such as the Coyote found in the 2011-2017 mustangs is a badass motor and makes big power on boost and can handle quite a bit. It depends on your funds and weather or not its a street car. Good luck

      Thanx so much for that! Really appreciate it. I met another guy who builds motors, and he told me the modular engine is a better motor. My car actually sounds very good like it is. People seem to think something was done to it by the original owner. I just like that crisp edgy chop like you have. Never thought about owning a mustang til this one kinda fell into my lap, from my neighbor, because it was such a good price. Bin hooked ever since, surfing and becoming a member of American Muscle, subscribing to Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords, CJ Pony, etc. I'm 60 years old, don't know shit about muscle cars and never owned one before. However being submerged in the culture online, I just wanna take mine to the max on a street level and have fun! I'd like to holla atya from X2X, get your thoughts on some things. Thanx again!

    manual steering?

    • @NASTFOX
      @NASTFOX  8 років тому +1

      The power steering hose blew. So in the video when I am unloading the car I am turning the wheel of a busted power rack . This was the 2nd time it happened. It is more difficult to turn the wheel with a busted power rack than it is with a manual rack by like 10 times! After the video I installed a flaming river manual rack and it is great. I do not miss the power steering at all. This is a 100% street car too. I did not want to risk a 1/4 mile pass at 145+ and have the chance of a hose breaking again.

    • @NASTFOX

      powerstroketurbo95: the power steering hose broke a day before the video so that's why it was so tough to turn.

    • @NASTFOX
      @NASTFOX  7 років тому +1

      nguyen ankhang: there was power steering but the line broke. That's why it was harder to turn the wheel. When you have a non power rack it's actually easier to turn than a power rack that is broke. Lol
