- In this review, I'm going to take a look at a beer from the Counter Weight Brewing Company, and it's their Smoked Ein. This is a Smoked German-style Helles Lager. I'm starting to come around on smoked beers, and this sounds like it might be pretty good, so let's see if it is! I also want to give a huge thanks to my buddy, and viewer of the channel, Stephen (@jesusfreakinct), for this beer!

This one sounds really good and I’ve heard good things about Counter Weight. The other day when i got that Von Trapp Bavarian style Pilsner there was also a Stowe Style collab with Live Oak Brewing Smoked Helles…Double Prost for sure 🍻!
Damn, von Trapp and Live Oak? Might have to seek that one out, baby! Good looks. I still want to try Live Oak stuff at some point, especially their Hefeweizen. I've enjoyed the beers I've had from Counter Weight, for sure. This is well-brewed and enjoyable.

I haven’t immersed myself into the smoked beer category. I’ve had some smoked porters but not lagers. I’d like to try more beers like this one. I can see why you had to keep trying them to appreciate them over time. Great review Joe! Cheers!
LMAO! I don't know why whatever I did reminded of The Berzerker. I think it was actually "HUSS!" but it was so off the cuff that I didn't care, haha! Yeah, smoked beers are still one of those styles that are hit or miss for me. I prefer the mildly smoked ones that aren't overly savory. When it gets into the smoked meat-like qualities, it starts losing me a bit. I know some people love 'em like that, but it's just overkill for my palate. Still fun to try, and this one was quality through-and-through. Thanks, Dan!

I don't remember the berserker, but I just read up on his and he's in bad shape, like most retired wrestlers. As you know, I quite enjoy smoked beers. This one sounds great!
Damn, that's a shame! Yeah, wrestlers from the 80s, 90s and early 2000s = lucky to be alive based on everything they did back then. Such a tragedy. This beer was pretty dang good for what it is. I know you dig the smoked beers, so I think you could most certainly get behind this.
