I have a cricut explore 3 and can not for the life of me get the thing to cut fabric! This is why I purchased the thing and the needle just tears the fabric no matter what backing I use. I've tried just fusible fleece and the thicker one. I don't want a thicker backing when making these lanyards or headbands or even pot holder squares. Any ideas or tips on what I can do?

Can u tell us where u got the Cricut rotary mat & roll of transfer tape?
Hi! I got the mat from Cricut.com I believe. And the transfer tape I got on amazon..it is Transferrite medium tack clear.
