Based on the ancient Dangun myth, the story follows, Yaeri, an eager court seamstress, who's commissioned by none other than the prince to design a dress for an unusual client.

The main part of the animation, I thought it was the young tailor being tested. The ending was an unexpected, but pleasant twist. This was a beautiful story!

Oh, I agree, the twist at the end was a pleasant one. I may not be interested in shipping the bear-girl, but I do have no doubt they remained the best of friends. I really do love old myths like this one.

This reminds me of one of my martial arts form, one of our forms is based on a tale of a bear and a tiger who wanted to be human. They had to stay in the cave for 2 months I believe with only garlic and water and couldn’t leave. The tiger failed but the bear made it. The bear later wanted a child and the god that changed the bear into a woman married her .
