A good interview, thank you for that. I am very much aware of his dad's musical works but know very little of what Oliver's done so it's good to have that insight - and I will certainly check out an album or two of his. He seems like a decent bloke too, I hope he follows in his dad's footsteps!
I didn't realise he'd played with Yes but then it's only on the non-Jon Anderson albums and I just haven't got around to checking those out yet. For me, Jon's vocals are an intrinsic part of Yes, I think I'd struggle with other vocalists in that band.

Smashing interview with Oliver, Phil and his new album does sound very interesting. I have a few of his solo albums and his works with Clive Nolan. His dad is very much my personal GOD! of the keyboards and always has been. Regarding Tormato I can see where he's coming from having got into the Yes via that album. However, having been into Yes way before that album came out I have to confess that it was like shock horror for me 😁😁😁. To be honest, my Yes collection these days stops at Relayer in 1974 and I would only identify "Awakening" on the Going For The One album as genuine Yes Music as they used to categorise it themselves. I do feel that "The Silent Wings Of Freedom" is quite a good song though and love Squire's bass on that track from the Tormato album.

PS. Are you going for that Camel box set? I pre-ordered it last weekend on Amazon when it hit £160 and I think it's now at £170, so I got it at the right time, I think.

Hi Terry, I would love to! I don’t have the funds at the moment so it might be a while.

@@NowSpinningMagazine Yes, it's an expensive month! I have always been "Nutty for Nektar" so I have to fork out for the "Remember The Future" box set - and I have to go for the Brinsley Schwarz one too as that fills a hole in my collection.
