I have found some good ultralight jig heads and small paddle tail soft plastics that work great on these sites from China/Japan. The nice thing about the jigs they come in heavier weights but still have the small #8 or #10 hooks. I bought 1/32, 1/16oz and 1/8oz equivalent size heads and all come with with a #10 hook which is great for panfishing from the bank. The 1/16 oz & 1/8oz sizes really help when you need to get your cast out much further than with a standard 1/64 or 1/32oz jjg with the same size hook. And the soft plastic 2" paddle tails that I bought a truckload of, hold up pretty good, not elaztic but you can catch double digits on the same bait before you have to change it out.
I bought those cheap GoldSkarking reels. They rarely last a season. But they work. I usually get two at a time. And when they break, I just replace it, and I don't feel bad about it.
Those lures at 8:46 look like they might be imitating sea urchins. I recently watched a Japanese fishing video on UA-cam where the angle had great luck using sea urchins as bait after he clipped the spines off short. That's my best guess...🤷♂
I don’t know if you have ever had a vintage spinning reel called DAM Quick made in Germany I purchased a few different sizes of eBay but the are really well built reels & over engineered all quality guts !!!!!😊
If you buy lures from Temu you need alter your expectations as Temu =\= Tackle Warehouse. That being said you will typically be disappointed with the hard baits build and quality as they may not even be up to par with Ozark Trail brand lures(I love the Ozark Trail brand!), however, most hard baits from Temu actually exceed their price points as you will get 5-10 lures for a bottom dollar price. As Brendan states they mostly feel cheap but their action isn't really that bad! From my experience the soft plastic lures don't miss as much as the hard baits and my reaction of Temus soft plastic lures is consistent with Brendan's. So if you want to purchase budget lures but don't wanna gamble you're money then go with Temus soft plastic baits and purchase your hard baits from a credible supplier. Or, just stay off of Temu all together just understand you can't have budget and quality in the same lure lol.
He consistently catches less fish than any fisherman tuber I've seen. Doesn't even make that many videos but his quirkyness somehow keeps me coming back.

I'm not really seeing it. I've been subbed for years and the only difference I see is him being more mature, but he has always mature for his age IMHO. Maybe I'm missing something. Maybe videos making isn't as fun for him anymore, but he always seems honest to me. We all have different perspectives though and I respect your view on things.
