Woooo!! Super exciting indeed! Can't wait to see the next video. Love to see the bromance with Lucas, it's a good reminder of how much time you've spent there and how close you've become with so many people. Good stuff, glad it wasn't edited out.
Dash it all! I almost forgot to like the video! That's one manly-man brawler of a catamaran, Nick & Terysa!!! I'm getting pretty excited- not sure how you're containing/restraining yourselves?
Sometimes I wonder why something costs so much, then I see the work that goes into one small component & I realise the why. OK I know the mast is not a small component but I think I've made my point about the effort they put in.
Nick you crack me up... I understand the excitement. February 2019 we launched out Boréal and stepped the mast same day.... we flew 1/2 around the world and drove 9 hours to be there for the event!! So exciting.... wait till it is Ruby Rose II
Nick and Terysa, I was up early looking for y'all's post. It's great to see hull #1 out, the installation of the mast, and ready to mount the boom. It really looks great. It's nice to see Ruby Rose 2 with a canopy; and to know that they will be moving forward with the finish details. It's difficult, for me sometimes, to decide who is more excited; me or you. I know that there are a lot of people out there that will be excited to see y'all sailing out into open waters in your new home. Y'all will always be a part of My Family.Thank y'all for sharing. Cheers,! Blue Skies. Faithfully, James
Very cool. You are in a fairly unique situation, being so heavily involved in the process and seeing it all come together. It will be interesting to see once you have it out on the sea any observations/thoughts (and hopefully not too many regrets!). Well done.
Hi Nick, the BEST vlog from the last so many & love to see you so exited after having watched your boat being built so patiently especially over those long long months after months delays. It's been really a great job👍. WISH YOU THE BEST🤞🤲. And if ever you pass by the shores of Karachi in your beautiful Ruby Rose please do call on here. 😎™
WOW.. Never realized the bottom of the MAST simply sits on top of a platform on the deck??? I always just assumed it went down through the hull and tied into the structure of the boat for rigidity. But looking at this makes me think the entire mast is allowed to flex (pivot) at the bottom when being stressed, simply being tensioned down by all of the ridging lines (insert fancy sailor terms here...) to the corners of the deck...?? @nick,.. would love to see a technical video of how the mast, boom etc, all functions when under sail....
WOW..... Super. So when they take it for Sea Trials or tests will you be able to go along? :). I am loving being able to see the evolution of this new 1370's.
So exciting. Had to watch this before my day starts! Victoria BC 🇨🇦. Just seeing so many boats now started. How many under the one roof? Are they pre-sold? I like the name plates idea. I would think it ups quality workmanship. (Workpersonship). Many of us enjoy your efforts through the building process. Not only it is interesting it makes future living aboard and travel somehow more personal. Thank you to Mr Hill for allowing you to film his boat. I hope it allows you to take a break.
It is great to see things coming ever so nearer to completion. The 1370 looks amazing - even when out of the water. So looking forward to when you are both happily floating on RR2. Any further news as to where you will take delivery?
I really miss your sailing videos from far off places. You two are such great storytellers. But this process has been refreshing to watch. A team putting out a quality product, every person's input equally important. Selling smiles, it's not always an easy job. Bravo, Seawind Crew.
Don't worry I'm sure the sailing video's will resume on this channel soonish I'm really enjoying these build videos nearly as much as the sailing video's to be honest.
I was surprised you'll keep the gas stove. I see most new yachts adopting induction. At least the ones I follow in UA-cam. I wish you great luck with the CAT.
Hi Guys ! I love your videos ! What is the maximum size and weight of the inflatable dinghy that fits hung on the davits of Ruby Rose 2 ?? Thanx a lot ! KEEP ENJOYING !
Running of a smaller line/rope/cable thru where you want a permanent line to go then it gets tied or spliced to the important wire or cable and you pull on the mouse line until it completely draws the other cable into place. Basic, but hope that helps.
Hi Nick - very small thing - considered super unlucky to wear a ring on your thumb in India. Maybe consider putting it on another finger! Avid follower, love the channel.
Well, today's the 30th, which means that Tet should have ended yesterday, which means they should all be back to work. I'm looking forward to the next steps here. I see RR2 has her hard top on, which is good. Couple of months, Nick and you and Terysa are going to be out on the water in your own new boat.
Nice! What type of standing rigging are you running? Synthetic, Wire, Rod? And why? I'm really curious on direction of standing rigging in new builds. Cheers!
At 2:17 you show the plumbing toilet hose good to see they use cheap Chinese plastic non smell hose that will split in 2 years and isn’t even clipped down properly. What happened to VETUS quality hose get what you pay for I guess, they have to save costs some where ps 2:49 nice chain counter another saving by seawind !
@@sailingrubyrose no need to be butt hurt just giving some criticism not great to see a million dollar boat using 2 dollar hose, not receiving a chain counter or even a tri light these aren't "extras" these are basic boat needs especially for the price you are paying for in the end its your boat not mine , I guess the truth hurts

So will you be putting a Coin under the Mast Base ???????????????????????????? Or Not lol. And the factory needs a turntable at the end of the Production Line . :)
My God... The excitement only continues to build. The tension is palpable, you guys must be buzzing with energy!
Maverick Approves this video ~ He also can't wait to go sailing.
Your excitement is palpable. Going to be an exciting year.
Great "explaining" video - very well timed and presented ... great stuff! want to see the next, and the next, and the next :))
The interesting thing here is money is saved not just on labor but what appears to be a more organized production line than some other places!
She is looking truly wonderful.
What a Bromance going here ;) hahahaha, boat looks good!
That boat is gonna be awesome

Bravo Nick! Employee of the month 6 months in the row! 🥳🌈🎉🤓
Congratulations 👏 👏 👏
Amazing! I am sure that is a nail biter every single time they do it. Cannot wait to see the splash. ⚓
such an exciting day. whoop whoop,

Beautiful, just beautiful without the mast, i can not imagine how she looks with all the rigging in place.
Hi nick dose the ship yard look after their employees from start to finish fantastic video great work thanks 😊
Wow!
And I take it you will be on board for the first sailing trips! Really looking forward to this!
It will be great to see the sea trials, hope you (we) have a front row seat!
Fantastic, splash and trials soon can't wait
Pretty cool and exciting, Nick. Wow, so close.
So. Intense. Exciting. Fun. Such a beautiful boat.😂😊
It really is!
What a happy little boy!
An interesting adventure.
Soon it will be your turn, but still very exciting! Hull 1 looks great the sea trail should be fun.

I am so, so happy for you two.
So happy for you guys. I haven’t built a boat so can only compare to a house. Happy 💃
Plan your work. Work your plan. A huge shout out to the staff. Job well done to perfection. 👏👏👏 The excitement builds.
Thanks 👍
No wonder you are excited! It is coming along so quickly.
Excited
Damn, getting there! Yours in next eh? Cool.
So excited to see it in the water!
Getting so excited for y'all once again! Can't wait until you're back on the water.
I have always enjoyed watching skilled professionals at work To see a team, who know exactly what they are doing, is a thing of beauty.
LOOKING GOOD!!!!!!!
let's goooo almost there
Great
I love your dedication ! Thanks for the continued effort !
It seems I've watched too many Fail Army videos and was holding my breath during the entire operation praying for the crane not to fall over! LOL

It would have been so much interesting to actually see how the mast is secured in place.
6:18 are you only sailing in the bay and not in the ocean like we’re is the tri navigation light on the top of the sea wind mast ?
I'm keen to see how they will transport the boat to the shore - I assume that little rollers can't do a longer ride?
WOW..... Super. So when they take it for Sea Trials or tests will you be able to go along? :). I am loving being able to see the evolution of this new 1370's.

Nick, the Easter Bunny shows up on the 9th of April 2023. 🐇🐇🐇😜😜😜😜
Exciting. Might want to have an emergency medical team standing by for Nick when RR2 finds the sun. 🙂
So the mast doesn't actually go down through the boat for stability as I thought it would have; interesting.
Exciting couple days. Any chance of walk arounds of SEAWIND 1160 and 1190 for coastal sailors?
👍🦅😎🇺🇸. I thought the mast might slip into a “sleeve” not just set on top of a bracket and be bolted.

love to work for you you seem so chilled lol
For those of us, in the heartland of USA, what is mousing?, Great video again
Running of a smaller line/rope/cable thru where you want a permanent line to go then it gets tied or spliced to the important wire or cable and you pull on the mouse line until it completely draws the other cable into place. Basic, but hope that helps.
Nick , propane is a heavy gas if there’s a leak will it not just keep building up at the bottom of the locker.
Self draining gas lockers
Still have no idea what mousing is. Was that a mouse trap you pointed to?
With wings it could just about fly, in day light it looks majestic, and with its mast it looks truly Erect.
Is this yard near a waterway. How do these cats get to the sea from the factory?
Safety first😂
Very Uplifting! Will you be filming when they sea trial hull 1?
Hi Nick - very small thing - considered super unlucky to wear a ring on your thumb in India. Maybe consider putting it on another finger! Avid follower, love the channel.

Is this a rotating mast (as the spreaders indicate)? The foot doesn't look like that.
Very exciting!! I think I want to order one of these boats.. what's the complete estimated cost for Ruby Rose?
is hull one going to be RR?
No, hull 2 is Ruby Rose 2
is there a coin under the mast ??
No. I asked Lucas and he didn’t have one
@@sailingrubyrose Who has coins, Right? You can start a new tradition and place a debit card under your mast.
Congrat
I guess for someone that never done this, it interesting .
What Lucas do there? I am also Argentine and now I am curious.
What does Lucas do? There is the million dollar question 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣.
But joking aside, he’s a boat builder. He’s also very good at it
