I run 3 cynet mining and 3 iblee, iblee and a dogmatika card gives you full combo and protects against evenly , lava golem and lightning storm , plus locks them into just links
I actually like Magician of Black Chaos MAX in this deck. Diviner is a 1 card starter to summoning it on your opponents standby phase and you basically just win the game. I run Secret Village of the Spellcasters also. It’s definitely GG if you set both of those up going first. You get pretty good follow up off of this line too because you are only using Diviner out of your starting hand. The other 4 cards can then be used to do whatever you’re able to. Small World with 3 Nibiru for the bridge into Diviner makes this pretty consistent and gives the deck some much needed defense if you happen to draw into a Nibiru in your starting hand.

The combo goes: Summon Diviner -> Dump Trias -> Tribute Diviner for Trias -> Summon Scheste off of Diviners “tribute” effect -> Summon Sigrun off of Scheste’s summon effect -> Xyz summon Aggregator in the Extra Monster Zone using Trias and Sigrun ( THIS IS IMPORTANT ) -> Dump Herald of the Arc Light with Aggregators summon effect -> Search Chaos Form off of Herald’s grave effect -> use Aggregators effect to swap his materials with Herald and Diviner in grave -> Link Aggregator into Gravity Controller -> Search Magician off of Herald going to the graveyard again -> Summon Magician using anything but what you have on field -> Link Magician and Scheste into Dyna Mondo. You can then do any Dogmatika plays that you have access to after this combo line, then on your opponents standby phase, activate Dyna Mondo’s effect to tribute himself and special summon Chaos MAX back from the grave, activate his summon effect and tribute Gravity Controller. They are now locked out of monster effects for the turn.
I think thats kinds too bricky and loses to a lot of handtraps. I prefer the Winda lock when you go first. Just needs 1 space in main deck (schism) and 2-3 spaces in extra deck (apkallone, winda, construct)
Thanks for the insightful video, it def gave me some good insight. Also, My roommate is a competent despia player and the matchup seems real rough imo. Maximus is really risky and unless you can get rid of lubellion and 2 mirrojades in the same turn then it's gonna be tough times, especially if they run bystials as well.
Whats with Secret Village of the Spellcaster ? I Play this Card in my Version and its work very good. Against Branded going First there doing nothing 😂. The only Card there Clan Play around ist Cartesia .
I would be really curious if you included a small Mikanko package to help your going first presence and increase your potency going second. Rondo is a great interruption (as is arabesque going second) and stealing an opponent’s monster to push for OTK elevates the ceiling of this deck.
actually I didn't realize alba zoa would force your opponent to send 7 cards if you're going first... I guess reading the effect that should've been obvious oops
The point is coverage rather than synergy. The staples correct other matchups. And also, there is a shitload of synergy with the cards played here in terms of destroying boards

Forbidden Lance, and Ritual Cage is actually pretty useful in the deck

You can do that, at cost of having 3 less cards to beat kashtira going second
