    Amazing earbuds. Insane, crisp sound signature with deep, rich bass. The instruments separation and vocals on these are incredible. Gorgeous design and great build quality

      Supposedly that was the trade off from their E8's to these to get sound quality better, idk if true, and idk if possible for EQ's to be updated at later time to add that in, however they're also not sport earbuds, more for when just wanna listen to great sound music is top priority, without major activities occupying your hands, or ability to have easy access to your devices, so using phone/tablet/etc to rewind, fast forward, skip, go back, find another song is fine... For running, and/or working out can switch to better fit earbuds with those options when don't want to, or can't easily access devices

      @@aldoparziale5669 but they do. Tap tap+hold right earbud and volume goes up. Tap tap+hold left earbud volume down. Just did it. They could from the start.

    Am I alone being confused here? What was one tap, three taps, hold gestures in this video? Cheaper production, of course, but someone demonstrating usage and doing a voiceover was much more straightforward in my view.

      Same here but I found the PDF manual helped me understand better:
      Place both earbuds in the case then Press and hold both aluminium touch panels for 6-8 seconds.
      The blue indicator will flash when pairing is initiated, allowing you to find Beoplay EQ on your device.

    Just purchased these and the sound and finish is top notch premium. I have only a few complaints that could easily be cleared up with a software update. #1. No in app EQ. #2 I can’t tell the difference in noise canceling and “neutral” settings. I wish I could remove the neutral setting and just go directly from noise canceling to transparent. #3 I wish the device would remember that I want to hear my own voice on all phone calls.

    I only get 4 to 4.5 hrs (fully charged) baterry life on 70%volume from them. May you guys please share with me your battery life of the EQ? Because B&O says they should last about 6hrs. Thank you.

      We are sorry to learn that the battery life on your Beoplay EQ is not lasting as expected. Rest assured, we will do our best to assist you.
      In general, the battery life depends on the volume, intensity of music and equalizer settings. This means that the battery drains faster at higher volume when playing higher intensity music like rock or heavy metal. If you play music at moderate volume levels (50%), the battery in your Beoplay EQ can support up to 6.5 hours of playtime with ANC on and 7.5 hours with ANC off.

    I have just bought brand new B&O EQ headphones and it is fantastic ; however , sometimes, when I listen to music the left headphone disconnects for a while and then continues to work. What should I do?

      I have the exact same problem but I found a Solution by experimenting In many ways by myself. It May work for you so give it a try. First use the left one until the battery completely drained out. It will be very annoying Because it turn off and on and will Take some time. After that put it in the Charging Case Alone , Take the right One out of the case. Wait Until It is Fully Charged and and it became good as new for me. Give it a try And Let me know If it Works for you So I can help other People too because this seems to happen to many others🙂

    really looking forward to trying these out to replace my PI7s if the 6.5 hour battery life claim is true. hopefully transparency mode is good, noise cancelling is excellent and sound is mesmerizing with deep bass and clear mids. the sand color is absolutely gorgeous, wish it wasn’t so far out till august 19th though

      Did you get them? Wondering what you think! I have the momentum 2, galaxy buds pro, and those beans, I have the new buds coming now just because I got them half off. I also had the Bose but the call quality sucked but I also think I had a defective unit. I want either these or the bowers so..... idk now !!! I don't get on planes often so that feature is irrelevant

      @@michaelmarquez6133 Yeah I did, had them for a week but returned them. Sound quality wasn't as good as my PI7's. That's not to say they sounded bad, but they just lacked the extra detail the PI7's provide, especially in the bass department. I really couldn't listen to them for more than an hour without aggressively pulling them out of my ear and going back to my PI7's. Also they dont get really loud, I always had to turn them up to 85% volume to get what I heard on my AirPods Max at 65% volume. The ANC was pretty trash and weak, it blocked consistent noise, but anything spontaneous like voices and it did pretty much nothing. Transparency mode on the other hand was pretty good. I think after these I'm pretty much done looking for something to replace my PI7's, dont think anything will come close to replicating their sound quality as wireless ANC earbuds which I guess is due to the fact that they’re the only ones with a balanced armature + dynamic

      Don't even think about it. You'll regret having one of those. Stick to your p17, or try the new p17 S2 if you need an upgrade

    I bought the beoplay EQ but both left and right piece does not connect, there should be a dark blue light indicating that it´s ready to pair, but I don´t see any. I tried dozens of times pressing the buttons but to no avail. I am now getting frustrated and kept on cursing myself why I even bothered purchasing such a piece of j_ _ _ knowing from my previous experience with the E8 3gen that the app does not work. so what am I going to do with a 300euro useless thing that can´t connect to my phone? sorry for my language

Since sound in general can be a quite subjective matter, it would be best to test both, Neutral and Active Noise Cancellation modes, to see which one would fit your particular interior environment/context better. Transparency Mode is only advisable if you require interacting with the environment by listening in, for example if somebody is speaking to you, etc.

    Brand new. Got them to pair next I used them they wouldn’t pair and so did a reboot and now they won’t pair and the charging station won’t hold battery. Completely fault and brand new

    Unfortunately it doesn’t support siri or voice command and the ANC touch control is totally confusing, please update software to solve all the unfortunate things this is a very expensive device and B&O is a big co. You can easily avoid all negative things in this earphones.

    I dont know whether its me or not, when i try to connect my B&O EQ with the app, the app just continuously stuck in loop of fetching images or somethin and it doesn’t stop.

      @Bang & Olufsen the same issue is happening on my iPhone 11 Pro iOS 15.2, cannot connect B&O EQ to the app, the app stuck on Fetching product images. I tried your suggestion to restart the phone - no luck. Please fix it!

    I have the EQ. Two question please.
    1. I got these as a gift but i am not sure about the authencity. They can connect to the app and got updated successfully. The serial on the box and in the app match but the serial on the hinge of the black charging case is impossible to see without a strong flashlight (which match by the wat). Is this visibility of the serial on the case normal? And by being able to connect to the app make these real?
    2. The first time launching the application it ask to turn on location and so I did to update the device. After that i turned my location off. Later i enter the app and it ask me to turn on my location again for better experience but I deny this time Because I Never turn on my location and when I enter into my device it says connecting but never got connected. I forced stop The App and start it again and the same things happen. Do I Alway have to turn on my location on ( i never want to) to use the app? Besides none of my other pairs from other brands need location to open their apps.
    Sorry for the long questions. Your answer would be much appreciated. Thank you.

However, if you want to double-check this with us, please feel free to send us the serial number via www.bang-olufsen.com/en/support/beoplay-contact, and we will be more than happy to look into this for you.
      Regarding enabling location permission, Android requires location permission to enable Bluetooth Low Energy mode, which allows the app to connect to your Beoplay EQ. E.g. on iOS devices, this is not a requirement. Don't worry, we do not collect any kind of information.

One more question If You Don't Mind. In the app I cannot Find The battery percentage of the charging case. Is this by default or What Do I have to do. Once again thank you very much.

    Omg these ones are the worst to connect to the app, i spent 2 hrs to get it connected to the bt. Finally got it, but it doesnt connect to the app automatically. And it happens every time i use it!!! My $90 soundcore n $50 soul can do better

    I am completely blind, I have bought your headphones before, this is extremely disappointing because I have absolutely no idea how to use mine now. This is completely useless to me. Please publish a version with a voiceover I literally do not know what is going on.

    I stopped using these shortly after i got them. Loved everything about them but using three pear devices lack of multipoint was a no-go. Now march 2023 by accident i find out there’s a multipoint update?! Best buds ever for me. But only in sound.
    It’s hard not to complain so here goes; about time my Danish friends, about fulfan time right?! You understand. Everybody has it and i was using airpod pro’s. And the eq’s were awful to say the least in connecting. From laptop to phone? Hang on, disconnect, put in case, connect on phone get them out of the case sqeeze the buds and in they go……. So many times a day. Everywhere. It was too much.
    This should have been there from the beginning. Full stop. No launch otherwise. I know your team discussed this feature to death.. who gave in?! Tell him i said Hi.

    Have B&O fixed their horrible Bluetooth issue? Or are they still advising you make sure your phone/device is on the left hand side of your body?
    Great brand, but horrible Bluetooth issues in previous models.

      I had not so good experience with E8 2.0, it is a shame vs the amazing sound quality

      I wasted $450 on E8 model. When i put my phone in my pocket always connection breaks.

      If you having trouble with connection then stop always blaming the headphones go get a new phone !
      I had Beoplay H9 3rd generation
      Beoplay HX
      and they both works perfectly fine from the day one until now.
      Even at crowded places not having any issues with the Bluetooth so duh !!

      @@Hdd554 erm, the issues are still there with the latest iphones and ios. I have been through several troubleshooting sessions with the B&O team. Good for you if you've had no issues. But many others have.

    @Bang & Olufsen liking and highlighting aggressive replies to comments about their Bluetooth issues really takes away from this great brand.
    Rather than addressing KNOWN Bluetooth issues, they are happy to like and highlight aggressive comments telling users to upgrade their devices instead of blaming B&O. These issues are still ongoing in the latest iPhone, iPhone 12.
    Very disappointing and poor customer service.
