I miss the ORIGINAL FATBACK band members and the early days of the 70's and 80's. Best decades in music and concerts not just R&B and Funk but everything else.
imagine..a band singing original music while dancing and playing real instruments..see that youngsters?...this used to be the norm back then, not the 5 member nothing-but-dancing boy bands and loud spittin' rappers crap ya'll call music today. i thank god that i was so lucky to grow up during that era....
You are soooo right!!!! You know when you had it on your other page, I told you I almost HURT myself at World on Wheels when I first heard it. They are the TRUTH by FAR. :-)
Wow, who's that itty bitty guitar player? When my brother and I were kids, we had the cassette to this. When I played at the rollerskating rink, we'd start to skate backwards and move our arms like we were swimming a backstroke. We thought the song was about swimming.
@xtarheelinutah His name is John King aka "Boggie" and and the electronics repair shop he owns is in Rock Hill SC 15 min south of Charlotte,NC. I know him personally and has been blessed to record in his studio in the back of his shop. Hill City stand up!
@warnerbenjaminj Fatback originated from North Carolina, out of Fayetteville. The members are still around today. Unfortunately, one of them (I forget his name, the shartest member of the group), was assaulted and robbed (in 2009) at his electronics repair shop he own and operates out of Kings Mountain, NC (35 minutes southeast of Charlotte, NC)

I see the good stuff, the back-up singers doing the backstroke, having a good time all night long,
With out doubt one of the sexiest and sultry dance tracks EVER!!! Love it!!!.... spent many an hour dancing along to this from day one till present :)
