The female singer is such a splendid choice, it is almost as if Lyza is singing from the bottom of the Abyss herself, dyeing every thing dark and dangerous into a flurry of wondrous fascination.
I actually enjoy this singer's version better than the original!!!

Man, this channel is so outstandingly good but so underrated
That's UA-cam for you. Their entire system works almost like a lottery. Talent like this can remain undiscovered for years until it suddenly starts skyrocketing like mad in just a few weeks. I've seen it time and time again. Most of my current subscriptions are hidden gems that I go out of my way to search for.
The internet is cruel, so is life....

It's definitely a top 5 series for me right now as well, but one word of caution: You probably don't want to watch it if you have an aversion to gore or the emotional and physical suffering of children. It gets intense. It's worth it for the story they're telling, but it probably isn't for everybody.
Captain Patch definitely, I want to recommend it to everyone I know but then I remember *those* scenes

This orchastera is awesome
This song is packed tighter with every conceivable emotion possible it's amazing.
It's the perfect combination of your perfectly aware of everything going on around you, even more so the bad things, but you don't care because you've already come to accept it.
This is great! It feels different from the tone of the original, and captures more of what the show was as a whole. It's also professionally put together as always. Nice work.
I respectfully disagree, and I think they represent different things from the show. I believe the original exacerbates the sense of wonder and mistery of the abyss, while this version sounds more lonely, with hints of despair and "empty" spots, with dashes of hopefulness here and there.

The song is absolutely beautiful!
However, personally, I don’t feel like this version captures the dark undertones and intensity of the original that I really enjoyed
That being said, it certain brings a new tone to the song, capturing the beauty of the abyss. Great job to both Rush Garcia and Un3hcorb!
I feel like this version is the more hopeful, full of wonder one. The one from Riko's perspective as she watches the sun rise over Orth, or the first time she saw the first layer deeper than she had been before. I never thought of it that way till your comment!

This anime needs to continue. We need to see more completely happy and not horrible things happen to children with full voice acting and animation.

Grossly underrated channel, the lack of recognition you are getting is a crime. I cried listening to this soundtrack again, that single (un)manly tear, and just how well done this orchestration is, along with the beautiful vocals to go along with it, really job well done. The ability of this platform to share creativity really is mind boggling, but I'm glad this is one of the positives of this world, this channel and all that surrounds it is one example.

I don't know why Made in Abyss got so popular in the last few months, but i'm totally okay with how its turning out, specially if we get stuff like this.
the scene with nanachi crying became a big trend for people in the anime community.
plus they've released the movie/sequel to the season about two years ago so yea it got hyped

Rush left his email in the description specifically for the reason of commisioning. I don't know how much a song costs but I'm sure he could do it. You're right though, with all that work it might take a while for him to finish your commision if you do decide to send him one.
