I think the author changed that, for some reason, which does not make sense. OFA should have been just one quirk.

The Danger Sense quirk could simply confuse him and work against him. Imagine the sense alerting Shigaraki to attacks that don't happen, or constantly to such an extent that his senses are overloaded
I don't think that's how it works. Shigaraki's will is too powerful for the vestiges to actually be able to turn their quirks on him like that

I took Hawks saying “Nah, too much fan-service” as the quirks vanishing with All for One. Like how the previous quirks of OfA’s users became ingrained within OfA itself, the stolen Quirk Factors would’ve fused into the factor of AfO itself, and therefore the quirks would only return if AfO himself returned it.
Now that he’s dead, there‘a no more quirk factor holding those quirks, so they’re lost, hence why Vestige Hawks was like “nah, too much fanservice”
If Shigaraki gets OFA, it’ll boost the power of decay and AFO tremendously. Forget destroying Japan, dude could probably destroy most of Asia
Except I am sure he is going to die though, since OFA quirks got stronger in like 8 or so generations, so I feel like Shigaraki is going to die.

His body has been strengthened to the point where his natural physical strenght is comparable to All Might.
His body will be able to handle One For All perfectly fine. Probably a few drawbacks, but nothing life-threatening.

@neski311 If you paid attention, the reason why Deku could handle it was because he was quirkless. Every other OFA user died young because of it, and also because of AFO. I am pretty positive they explain that in the Anime and the Manga that previous OFA users outside of all might Died early, and the reason Deku is fine because he was an empty glass getting filled up, while the others outside of All might were full already and the glass/container started breaking because of it.
@nobitches6880 I don't think so, cause in the anime, I don't know if it's the same in the Manga, they gave the detail of Shigiraki cracking on his face and arms, as if AFO is too much for him to begin with like all the power is straight up breaking him apart, or that his Decay quirk caused those cracks to start appearing on him, but if that was the case he would have died from his own quirk.
I love how much they put the idea of quirk singularity into shigaraki he is quite literally and physically becoming a singularity he's destroying and absorbing everything everything he touches like a black hole

I think Shigaraki stealing Deku's Quirks might not be that bad. I mean the Quirk vessels have their own free will, so Deku's stolen Quirks could try destroying Shigaraki from the inside.
Yeah, it's seemingly foreshadowed a bit from what happened with OFA. I've been saying it would probably be a Matrix ending for years now. Shigaraki will take the quirks and then they will all destroy AFO from within.
I've honestly had that theory for well over a year now. In a way, Deku sacrifices his quirk into Shigaraki and the vestiges unite with the other factors and defeat Shigaraki from within.

this could also allow Deku to not be the last OFA user since if all the individual quirks are stolen the next wielder only has to deal with 1-3 quirk factors instead of 7-8 (1= new user is quirkless, 2= new user's quirk factor+OFA factor or transfer quirk factor+power stockplie factor, 3= new user's own quirk factor+the tranfer quirk's factor+power stockpile factor)
@@nicksafe9800 it's the years of stockpiling too I think ,the 4th user aged so quick I don't think it would work out well to have a quirk user gain ofa at this point again but a person who had there quirk stolen can probably gain ofa which would lead an opening for a 10th user
You know I won’t deny it. I didn’t consider the idea of Shigeraki or AFO only stealing individual quirks from Deku. It actually does makes sense.
Just sounds like some bs Horikoshi thought up out of nowhere. If this was always a possibility, why did AFO never do it before? He knew this was his brothers quirk so when he killed literally all other users why did he never take the past users quirks before OFA got passed on? In fact, how the hell did he FAIL 6 TIMES in stealing the quirk? You'd think after the first time he'd nail it down to kill them before they already pass the power on. None of this makes any real sense.
@@jase276I mean it’s been established that you’d need to have a strong will too steal OFA and those additional quirks fall under the same category or else Deku just wouldn’t have them too so to me not much has been changed. Even if it was a last minute idea with Horikoshi, it still kind of fits with the narrative cause it doesn’t get rid of the idea that Shigeraki’s hatred can steal the quirk. Also his fingers were only on Deku for a second or less so it makes the event a little believable. Also to me the other users were just persistent bastards and AFO just couldn’t kill them fast enough. It’s no different to how the heroes couldn’t capture the League until it was too late and Shigeraki became stronger.

Danger Sense is basically useless. When Toga snatched Deku, he couldn’t sense if he’s getting threatened and Shigaraki can’t sense if he’s getting also threatened since deku doesn’t want to kill him.
Exactly. Danger Sense isn't able to be used efficiently since Izuku has no intention of killing Tenko. Hopefully, if Tenko stole Danger Sense, the vestiges will fight against him.

Shigaraki doesn't need it, yes, because he can just regenerate any damage Deku does, but it's not useless to steal. Deku has been relying on it heavily. You make a good point but we don't know if Deku doesn't want to kill him. Deku straight up told the vestiges that he's prepared to kill Shigaraki but he *wants* to try to help him if given the chance. I'm pretty sure Shigaraki is beyond redemption now, and honestly it seems like Horikoshi himself doesn't even know what he wants anymore.

Ngl, AFO really grew on me over these past few arcs. I really like him as a character despite how simple he can be. And his sendoff was delightfully disturbing.

The opposite for me, sadly. He had sooo much potential, even moreso when he was young again and at his strongest. Yet he did virtually NOTHING. He stole ONE quirk and killed ONE guy. Both people who had already played their roles so they're useless to the progression of this story. The big, bad "demon king" got clowned on for dozens of chapters by a bunch of 1st years. This guy killed at least 5 OFA users and hundreds of heroes in the more dangerous time of hero society and yet he loses to some random high school kid. Like, ok.
@@jase276 While I do agree that his quirks and stuff could have been utilized more, I do kind of like how he gets his butt kicked a lot. It's fitting since he's meant to be a tribute of sorts to the emperor palpatine type of character where he's super powerful, but is ultimately undone by his own hubris, showing how pathetic he truly is. I see why people find it disappointing though (I personally have my own character who's frustratingly disappointing for similar reasons).
Sticking to my theory, OFA will be stolen/given up. The power will shatter Shigaraki (since AFO seems to be moving towards done). They set up OFA was becoming deadly to its user as it became stronger and Deku has multiplied that power all to a massive degree.
As much as I want them to actually go back, I think Hawks was joking and that they are just disappearing and thus said "Nah, that would be too much fan service"

I wonder if Danger Sense could come back to bite Shigeraki in the backside. Like an overload of notifications like when 1-A was trying to convince the UA Refugees to let Deku stay. If the entire world's population is wishing ill will or the downfall of Shigeraki, that might overwhelm him.
I guess it could also go the route like with what Hawks was doing inside AFO.

One for all has become too strong imo for Shigaraki to control. The final step might actually be letting him take it and their quirks rebelling. Even Allmight who has no quirk is in OFA so the final battle could be Deku’s vestige joining the other vestiges in fighting inside Shigaraki. Then Deku pulls an Allmight with one last smash to send it home.
We still haven’t seen AFO hit a true evolution. It’s only been expanding which is what caused the other quirks to surface.
I’m gonna make the call, and say all of the AFO quirks that faded away will swarm into Shigi at some point, willingly. It’ll be a play to help Deku once this battle drags out a bit more, but the goal will be to overload Shig into becoming the quirk singularity. Danger sense comes into play here, pushing madness into basically overdrive here making him an absolutely beast, possibly lashing at at everything and nothing, and potentially ripping himself apart. I’m predicting an Akira styled ended, tetsuo levels of chaos, but possibly deku receiving afo after he does some naruto therapy on him. Assuming he can reach out to Shigi of course.

With AFO existing back during the dawn of quirks it would be impossible for all those stolen quirks to return, since those people are long dead. I also believe it isn’t possible for any modern stolen quirks to return either. AFO “steals” quirks not “borrow” them.

This could work to dekus favor the way Stars and Stripes was able to cause a quirk revolutions within shigi the first time. The quirk vestiges inside want to revolt but the afo has to actively suppress it but Stars and Stripes was strong enough to throw him off and when original afo lost power the quirks acted on their own again revolting. This vestige might have the compounded power of ofa which could disrupt shigi and give deku the chance to defeat him or even create his own vestige to fight shigi from within

That is true, cause then the vestiges might end up forcing Shigaraki to fight in both the vestige world and the real one. That, and maybe because of this resistance that the vestiges of the quirk factors are providing might prevent Shigaraki from actually using the OFA quirks that are probably going to get stolen so Deku would at least not have to worry about that in the physical world.
I'm not even sure he can use danger sense as Deku does... He himself is so dangerous to himself DS might be like an annoyingly sensitive smoke detector.
I've been wondering what happened to the person that got stars and stripes quirk because he had to get rid of it by switching it with some elses or he killed dude by giving him it. Cause it's supposed to revolt against other quirks.

Well, no... he can already utilize them all to their fullest. And that's because he's quirkless. All stealing them does is give a quirkless kid less tools/weapons to use in this fight. Whether Deku can use them all to 100% of their potential is dependent on his own physical strength, like All Might already said. Though, instead of nurturing that over the course of a 4 year high school education, Horikoshi decided to speedrun it during Deku's FIRST year at high school, so this growth is a little unbelievable.

OFA is literally the green lantern as a power description. Will power is the true ability. Shigaraki doesn't have will power ... he is walking Apathy ... he doesn't see the way out to happiness ... where as Deku was actually chosen by OFA .... you can't mimic or steal that
So I thought of this. What if Shigaraki isn't stealing his quirks but instead decaying them away. Slowly eroding Deku's offenses as well as defenses.

Wait, if quirks do happen to go back to their original users, does the potential quirk Deku did have, go to All-For-One, then return to Deku?
Deku never had a quirk originally that was a theory but it was proven wrong when the other vestiges spoke with him during the vigilantly arc. I believe it was right before the Lady Nagant fight. The first user notes that the only reason All might and Deku are so powerful with the OFA is becuase theyre the only 2 users that didn't have a quirk before they got OFA.
Also in the official translation Hawks says the quirks aren't going back to the user. This video was made based on scans of the chapter that were translated by fans so sometimes the wording and context are changed a little.

It depends. OFA might be too powerful of a multiplier for Shigaraki to control the quirks he has. He'd be fine with hundreds of basic quirks but if they're all suddenly boosted... he's gonna die. Decay alone would probably kill him if boosted by OFA.

A few chapters ago Deku says he’s going to use Gearshift for the final time after saying something similar earlier when he used it to save All Might
They keep talking about the toll that using it does but we hardly ever see it anymore
Because he hasn't let go of it get, the blowback happens as soon as he releases the quirk, which is why he's trying to extend the time he can use it for as long as possible

It only makes sense that he has been turning it off, and each time it happens we don’t see any blowback like the first time he turned it off
The one that can stop Shigaraki is Shirakumo/Kurogiri who wants to protect him, even from himself.
In the official translation Hawks says something like " It would be ideal if all the stolen Quirks would go back to their original vessels but thats not what is going to happen." So no the quirks are not going back the the users they were stolen from.
Shirakumo/Kurogiri and Aizawa are still an option for support maybe they'll bring reinforcements quickly or something but for now those 2 seem like the only non-asspull option for any possible remaining allies for the heroes to help Deku against Shigaraki. There's also some people theorising Deku unlocking his 'original quirk' which I think is possible because if his original or locked quirk is too weak or something along those lines, if Shigaraki tries stealing all the quirks then in the same amount of time he could take a quirk, he would make a locked quirk come out which gives Deku his own quirk which seems like an asspull but if managed/written properly could make for a good ending to the story where OFA has served its purpose and kills Shigaraki from the inside out after being stolen at which point Deku has his own Quirk, the villains are gone, Bakugo probably not being able to be a Hero anymore with the sheer amount of blood he's lost will bring a circular end to the story reflecting Bakugo and Deku from the 1st chapter.
At last, All For One is finally destroyed.

I have a feeling that the only way to defeat Shigaraki is by letting him steal OFA, and then having the quirk itself destroy him in the process. I highly doubt that this is the ending Hori's going for, but it could be possible

It’s similar like ch 390 Shoto defeats Dabi after arriving to save Todoroki Family and ends with Ochaco’s fight against Toga with Twice’s Sad Man’s Parade begins and now on ch 410 AFO dies and Bakugo finally wins but now falling unconscious and now shifting back to Deku’s fight against Shigaraki except he’s having trouble now since Shigaraki stole his Danger Sense

I saw someone mention in these comments that Deku may awaken his own quirk and that could be a possibility for the story. The vestiges made it very clear that Deku is likely to be the last holder of OFA because he doesn't have a quirk, and therefore made it easier for his body to handle all those powers at once. But since he has one less quirk now he can handle a new one without it killing him. So, if Deku's desperation of saving everyone is strong enough to cause a sudden quirk awakening, his body will be able to handle that new quirk. If it were to end up being some form of fire manipulation then that would open the door for Horikoshi to write Deku's father into the story.
If this were to happen the question that I would still have is "why did it take so long for him to get his quirk ," and that could have something to do with Dr. Garaki because I still find it pretty suspicious that the doctor working with AFO is the same one who told Deku he was quirkless. Did Garaki biologically suppress Deku's quirk and lie to him about ever having one? Did AFO take Deku's quirk as a baby once Garaki became his pediatrician? And if so is Shigaraki capable of giving it back even if it were to be returned on accident?
This is all just speculation on my part and anything could happen!
So does this mean the stockpile quirk can be stolen? As it just combined with yoichi's transfer quirk to create One For All. but so did the rest of them technically, so if one did they all can. Also why does the stockpile quirk not have a vestige?
Hm, I guess Yoichi himself is the vestige of both the stockpiling and transfer quirks.
No the stockpile and transfer merged, the others are just vestiges. Just like how all for one stolen quirks are vestiges and used they are still individual quirks. one for all merging of two quirks hence no vestige...other quirks are ones from previous users stockpiles, but not merged hence vestiges.

This chapter been really twisted, dramatic, motivated and darkness. It be epic battle in the final showdown of fate on Japan.

Bruh. It was literally stated that ofa is a package deal. If you wanna steal one quirk you’ll have to steal the base stock piling quirk because all the quirks are stockipiled in it. That’s was the explanation given as to why it couldn’t be individually stolen. I can already tell the author wants to end this shit with some power of friendship type win scenario which I’m not for so I’m out. I’ll be back when the series ends just to see whether I’m right or not. Mha has been dying recently. Almost every manga breakdown channel has dropped the series or hasn’t made videos about it in several months because it’s very clear how the author wants to end this shit. He wants to end it on some power of friendship crap that will result in deku losing his quirks. I didn’t want to believe it but as the chapters go on it’s becoming more and more clear that this will happen.

I'm just curious. Wouldn't this contradict everything that they said about the quirks all being united from OFA's previous users? Because from my understanding, all of those quirks were pretty much united sub-quirks within the main one, pretty much having it all be a part of one big quirk. Because even the 4th user said he died from old age due to already having a quirk before inheriting One for All. If I recall, didn't they say Midoriya was an exception despite having their quirks due to the quirks *uniting* within *one* quirk and him being quirk-less before he got them? Like idk if my memories are mixed up, but I feel like this manga chapter is just a huge contradiction. Because unless I messed up, how is he able to steal the individual quirks within one united *super-quirk* basically.
Just like All for One the quirks still are individual quirks. They are not merged like the stockpile and transfer quirk are that made One for All. The stockpile part is what held the vestiges of the previous users and their quirks, much like how All for Ones steals the quirks and there is vestiges of the quirk users. They can be individually attacked and used, merged is not the same as united, or shared, or whatever other word as such. No contradiction at all, he has 7 quirks, not one quirk this has long been said he has multipule quirks not one super quirk.
All might was able to use the embers of OFA even after giving the quirk itself away to Izuku this means combined with the fact that the way OFA is transferred is through consumption/transference of the others cells in some form that even if Izuku loses the quirk he'd still be able to use the embers of those stolen quirks and maybe even be able to steal back the quirk ALONG WITH AFO by consuming some of shigiraki's blood during their battle

Danger sense might be his down fall. Decu almost had a sensory overload so is everyone possible attacked him he may not be able to take in all the info and a few heros could get a lot damage in.
I can see Deku losing float because then he’d be forced to fight on the ground which would give Shigaraki a huge advantage. I know he can use black whip to keep himself off the ground but I’d be harder than just losing float.
I don't see a way for the quirks to go back to their owners without it being both a plot hole and outright fan service. There is no mechanism in place for the transfer. Even when Eri user rewind to restore something like a lost limb, like with the lizards, the part that was severed stays were it was and a new one is grown in its place because the rewind quirk only affects the target it is directed at. All the people who had their quirks stolen aren't being affected by rewind and up until this point the quirk factors inside AFO haven't been affected either or he would have been losing them as he aged backwards. Its more likely that they are dying along with him.
only reason eri was able to get miro's quirk back was because his wasnt stolen but destroyed so she rewinded him back to before his quirk was destroyed. Like the limb example lets say it was lost do to cancer if she rewinded someone back to before they lost it to cancer she would have to send them back to before it was that bad because the cancer will still be there
Honestly this reminds me of the dbs manga where moro took ultra instinct for himself but when he tried to use it his body almost exploded due to not training his body to withstand it I wonder if shiggy with explode or die due to not training his body for ofa
Shigaraki's body is already enhanced like a Nomu to the point where he's as strong as Prime All Might even without quirks active. I doubt him exploding from too much power will be his end
I love how everyone is on the idea of all the quirks, including one for all, being stolen and inside Shiggy forgetting....we KNOW Deku wins....we KNOW Japan is fine....we KNOW he maintains one for all as it was stated at the beginning of the anime of how he became the greatest hero showing his back as an adult. We might now how it happens, but we know it does. After all this anime is basically deku retelling his story of how he became the greatest hero. Nothing that happens in this fight will change the end, it is cool and great twists, but knowing the ending lowers the stakes just a little.
Perhaps the stolen quirks can go back to their original owners if the quirk All for One is the original one. If Shigaraki manages to steals One for All from Deku then it may turn out to be the best as Shigaraki will be absorbing all the vestiges will be fighting amongst themselves. Therefore it could lead to the end of quirks of All for One and One for All.
Maybe danger sense could have a negative effect like when spider-mans spidey sense goes into overload and causes him pain.

There is no evidence he ever had a quirk, and since they manifest at an age AFTER deku was told he had no quirk and it was established that quirkless do indeed exist with a physical abnormality to show it is so. Just because the doctor that examined him is a villain doesn't mean deku had a quirk. That doctor, being the leading scientists regarding quirks, examined MANY quirk users before surely yet theirs were not stolen. There is no reason, for now, to assume deku had a quirk, let alone any reason to believe that quirks, that required contact to steal and transfer quirks, just freely go back to their users as plot convince. It would be a huge logical leap for both assumptions with how everything, in the entire anime, has been established.
I believe all the quirks are returning to its original user but Hawks doesn't want to return.

What I’m wondering is why Horikoshi had him hallucinate seeing All Might’s vestige when he was dying rather than All Might himself. I thought this was alluding to him temporarily being the 10th user. Something has to come from that though because it’d be weird to have him see a vestige yet not follow through with it.

I just realized something since OFA amplifies all the quirks a person has. What if Deku realizes the way to stop him is to give up and it would overload all his quirks. The vestiges already said he would be the last user because not many ppl are quirkless now. He would become the greatest hero and OFA would no longer exist.
MHA has put me through such an emotional rollercoaster that's mainly pure stress & anxiety.

Don't be surprised if AFO still ends up in Shigaraki. His consciousness was probably weak there because it was split between 2 bodies and most of the quirk factors was in the original body. Best case he's really gone, medium-case he takes over Shigaraki, worst case...a stronger fusion of their personalities.

Quirk singularity theory. The vestiges said that deku was the last person who could wield them for a reason. Not to mention if he takes all for one it could potentially cripple him. It’s a stock pile quirk for a reason, it could potentially send him back to nothing before he had amassed his armory. He hasn’t trained using the quirk and at the beginning of the series all might himself said that a body untrained and unfit to quirk would explode or be severely damaged. Shigaraki only thinking about the power not the price to hold the power.

I think he will loose all but two quirks Float and black whip and somehow it will either give Deku a quick being quirkless or it will make his actual quirk which was probably much like AFO brothers and only shined when merged to bolster another quirk

Well, one for all was a stock piler quirk first. The original owner die a 100 years ago. But i wonder could deku steal afo as well.
What I think will happen is deku will loose all his quirks except one for all and so all the vestiges can’t help him when shigaraki tries to take it but then all might is there and he awakens like a second continuous or something and one for all awakens
My guess is with AFO death Shigi now has no limiter on his powers so he’s free to use all of AFOs locked up abilities that he snuck into him.
