"Blue lights over murder for me." Being in an ambulance after trying to take their life. "I woke up surrounded, eyes like frozen planets." In a bed surrounded by doctors. These guys can paint one hell of a picture with words.
It’s crazy how their lyrics can be interpreted in so many ways. This song always reminds me of the grief after my sister passed in an insanely fatal MVA. “Blue light over murder” makes me think of how many first responders showed up, recognized that the guy who had hit them had essentially murdered them, and it was still classified as an “accident”. Then waking up weeks later to continual therapy sessions with people who genuinely didn’t understand my situation. Having to sit there and essentially suck it up as my parents grieved, having to plan her whole service myself and not being able to outwardly feel my grief over it. Her connection to the Atlantic Ocean while she was alive. This song hits hard in so many ways for me. Makes me cry every time honestly.
@taylormerrill4896 this song reminds me of the journey I took after my 11 year old son died from leukemia. I watched them perform cpr for 45 minutes. His mom kicked me out two weeks later and wanted a divorce. 18 years of life gone in 14 days. Then came the drinking. You just want to sleep because you don't have to feel that loss. "Don't wake me up."
I can't even fathom the pain. I rarely respond to anything, but, man, i can't stop thinking about your comment. My son is 11, and my heart just aches for you. There aren't any words that matter or could begin to help from a stranger unfortunately. Just know that I respect your pain and subsequent struggle with drinking.
In Atlantic its “wash the blood from my hands” meaning guilt. In Rain its “wash the salt from my hands” which symbolizes a purification and cleansing effect. There are many songs where he has 2 sets of lyrics that are very similar but like opposite of each other. For instance the next song Hypnosis is very similar to the Offering so keep an eye out for that.
i always thought it was "wash the salt from my earth". the romans would sow the earth with salt to prevent crops from growing and allowing their enemies to rebuild. wash the salt from my earth could mean that the rain is washing him clean of his sins and allowing him to rebuild.
Ok so there is this theory I’m sure you already noticed somewhere that Vessel’s lyrics are actually about his ex girlfriend and he uses the image of Sleep to create this whole lore so people can find what they can relate to in the lyrics. If that is true and you omit the whole goddess thing and take it as him talking about his own personal relationship experience there are certain things that keep coming up in the songs. One of them being a car crash and him ending up with scars on his arms from hitting the dashboard (Granite, High Water, Dark signs - “and if you saw the marks on my dashboard the new scars that I didn’t ask for” - this also makes me believe that the scars he’s talking about are not from self harm but from an accident she caused). So then it is very likely that Atlantic is about a car crash he survived but she didn’t - therefore the blue lights aka ambulance, waking up in a bed, talking him through the damage and pain they know they don’t understand. And if it really is true and you go further through the album it also seems that his girlfriend was pregnant and she lost the child and probably was told she wouldn’t be able to have more (when you get to Telomeres you can hear heartbeat through an ultrasound and in High Water which is the next song on the album he talks about her not being able to bear the weight of two and here in Atlantic about crumbling like a temple built from future daughters… If all of this is true, it seems she got pregnant, lost the baby and knowing she couldn’t have them anymore started harming herself and possibly tried to kill them both in the car - in Fall For Me he sings “oh God I wish you were here” and there are many mentions about her going to heaven and him not being able to reach her so Atlantic is probably really about him only surviving the crash and now he’s trying to heal himself through Sleep Token constantly going between guilt, mourning and hoping for better days in the lyrics. What is for sure it that this man has gone through some serious shit in his life which is why you can hear him cry so often either in the songs or during live performances.
This is all spot on with my interpretation as well (although we'll never know for sure). Such a heartbreaking story, and makes all the songs incredibly sad when you think of this.
@@mpleveytotally, man. totally! it only makes me think whether it helps to sing about all of this all the time but from how he acts on stagw and how kind of hopeful Euclid ends I hope it somehow does. Even if only part of the theory is true it’s still so messed up!
So I’m a Boomer and can’t find a way to be heard except maybe pay a higher sub to their Patreon. Also not too proud to say that Discord is my doom! Besides that, I agree completely! No goddess for me, just a girl who Vessel loved. He went down the rabbit hole for her even to the point of insanity. The call to bury him under water is like saying When pigs fly. It’s hyperbolic and meant to convey insanity.
I don’t understand all of the metaphors in this song but I do know this song is about a failed suicide attempt. This verse is referring to waking up in the hospital. I woke up surrounded, eyes like frozen planets Just orbiting the vacuum I am They talk me through the damage, consequence And how it's a pain they know they don't understand Sobbing as they turn to statues at the bedside I'm trying not to crush into sand So flood me like Atlantic, weather me to nothing Wash away the blood on my hands
That's my interpretation, too. Especially if you also take into account the line "bandage up the trenches." Could be a reference to slitting arteries. The trenches could mean the scars or cuts made in the attempt. Coincidentally, there are a few photos of Vessel where there appear to be 3 horizontal scars on his left forearm that are visible through the dark body paint! Stay safe 🤘 ✌️
I’m so glad you mentioned this, I’ve listened to this song so many times without realizing and when I read the lyrics along with Kyle and Eric I finally understood it and was able to cry for the first time in years. Thank you
My interpretation has always been that the singer is waking up in the hospital after a car accident in which he was driving, and his partner was killed. Or possibly his partner, who was pregnant with a daughter, lost the baby - "crumble like a temple, built from future daughters". (There is the hint of a lost baby in the art for Are You Really OK, a song which could be about the aftermath of this wreck.) "They talk me through the damage, consequence, and how it's a pain they know they don't understand" would be a reference to the people in the hospital room telling him about the loss. "Sobbing as they turn to statues at the bedside" would describe his reaction. "It's blue light over murder for me" would reference the blue lights of emergency response vehicles, vs. what would be red lights of police responding to a murder. Perhaps the people are telling him it was an accident, no one is to blame, etc. "Flood me like Atlantic" would represent his desire to be unconscious, "Wash away the blood on my hands" describes his guilt. The wonderful thing about many of Vessel's lyrics is that we each get to find our own meaning in his words, so I'm not at all saying that one interpretation is right and the other is wrong. In a way, they can both/all be right, because the music is ultimately meant to speak to us, and it has accomplished that. This is one of my favorites from them.
This song is definitely about a failed suicide attempt. Live is emotionally wrecking. I've seen it twice live now and have bawled both times considering my own history with... Suicidal thoughts and actions. This is an incredibly heartbreaking song and i love Vessel's vulnerability.
"they took me through the dmg and told me its a pain they know they dont understand" usually when someone dies the doctor will say they know they cant understand your pain
You hit the nail on the head. "To start a new album, this is everything I wanted, and more." Couldn't have said it better, sir. Also, Eric's reaction "Oh no it switched." LMAO. FYI: Vessel II did a nearly-hour-long segment on a channel where he talks about his drum theory and techniques, and does several song playthroughs. It's mesmerizing to watch him play along with the songs. He's a beast. Word of warning though, I know you guys haven't heard all the songs he plays through, so if you don't want spoilers, then wait until you've gone through this album. Then have at it.
I don't know how yall are gonna do with "Fall for me" and "The love you want". I can barely get through those without crying. You guys are gonna love this album I just know it!
The piano. Some of Vessel's best vocals, some of Two's best drumming. The transition sounds like some Christopher Nolan/Hans Zimmer type shit. Incredible song
BANGER OF A SONG!! You two are in for a journey, TPWBYT is a mindfuck of emotions and meanings. Just when you think you understand, it’s completely throwing you in another whirlwind… IM HERE FOR IT!! Don’t make us wait long #WORSHIP
Sleep Token are the most gifted band I've ever heard in my life!! This song packs such a punch, hits you right in the feels. Vessel's voice is hauntingly beautiful and it's movie score material for sure!! Simply stunning 😍 What an incredible band!! ❤️
Obviously interpretations will vary from person to person, but I took it as blue lighs = UK ambulance lights, I think. Also pretty easy to read "bandage up the trenches" as stitching up self-harm wounds. Devastating song for sure.
The second verse clarifies a lot, it’s about waking up in a hospital bed after a suicide attempt, and the people close to him surrounding the bed. And how he felt at the time.
The noises I made when I opened up youtube and saw you guys posted this...embarrassing 😂 Atlantic is my absolute favorite sleep token song. It hits so hard. Now that you have listened to it, you HAVE to watch it live. Vessels emotion is...there are no words. On your comment about the Atlantic Ocean in the beginning, pay attention to the visualizers and the things written on them.. Everything they do is very much intentional. AH! I'm so excited for the rest 💜🫶
I feel like I hear this a lot as people evolve into bigger Sleep Token fans. As they discover more material and fall in love all with each installment, it becomes their new favorite. Then as time progresses and they circle back to the callbacks and interwoven story, they fall in love with another album or song again and again. It’s wonderful. ❤❤
And also hearing this live is amazing. I was lucky enough to hear it live. Him sobbing while he’s singing it really takes it over the edge. Whether the sobs are real or not idc because he’s amazing whether it’s real or not.
I've been waiting patiently for y'all to finally get to Atlantic. I've watched other reactions but none of them really seemed to grasp the bigger picture. I knew y'all would be able to see it and appreciate the connections. For what I get from Atlantic: There has obviously been an attempt at s*. Bandaging up the trenches; waking up in hospital surrounded by staff and friends but being completely empty -- just being "talked through the damage" while he lies there with a vacant, haunted stare into the abyss. The islands by the bedside being the medications/fluids nursing him back to health. A health he doesn't want. He wants to crush them -- to end it and just sleep. Especially with the connections to Sleep, I see this both as begging to be let go and also begging to be able to be in the Eden of his dreams. I see this as possibly what is being referred to in 'Are you really ok'. And especially with this being the first song after Bloodsport. The first song after the Goddess has left and giving in to that hopelessness. It really starts bringing into perspective just how much TMBTE is the chapter of healing and makes it even more poignant. My last observation that I get is at the end of the song the echoing effect (which is a theme in the entire album) sounds like what I would imagine drowning to feel like. The cacophony or noise, pain, and turbulence at the surface that fades as you sink -- fading until there is quiet, darkness, and Sleep. I can't wait to see what y'all think of the rest of Tomb, but for me personally Atlantic is a masterpiece. Worship.
Based on some of his older songs (before he was Vessel), "built from future daughters" I think refers to a miscarriage, or a premature birth of a baby that spent time in the NICU, that didn't live. You haven't gotten to High Water, but he references it. "I know you bear the weight of your own existence, and you'll never bear the weight of two."
i have a feeling you both will absolutely fall in love with this album! i’m patiently/impatiently waiting for my personal favorite song from this album, Missing Limbs 🖤
"Merry in the morning, earn your bitter fodder, it's easier to try not to eat" the lyrical content of this song is unlike anything I've ever heard. I do believe it's about either survivor's guilt or a failed suicide attempt. And yes, it is incredible live. I've been waiting so long for this reaction, thank you guys. 🙏🏻
It could be a failed attempt after being unable to live with the guilt of being a survivor. It could also be that he lost his wife and child and wasn't responsible and simply couldn't live without them and is waking up and learning he failed to end his life and join them and sobbing as they all fade away and turn I to statues and he goes back to being consumed by the thoughts of Taking his life. And begging them not to save him. " don't wake him up "
"Marry in the morning, earn your bitter father It's easier to try not to eat" You have the lyrics wrong--not that your interpretation is wrong. This is very much a song about surviving death in one way or another.
@batwaynebruceman7287 actually sir it's merry in the morning. Earn your bitter fodder. The lyrics to all the songs are printed on a sheet that comes with the vinyl copy of the album.
atlantic was my first song i listened to with sleep token and it took me a couple of listens to fully appreciate what sleep token did, and once i did, i delved into their library and fell in love with the band.
For me, this one was the song that made my mind explode because of the meanings and my heart break because of the emotions. This one was the song that made me fall in love with these guys. It is an absolute masterpiece. One of their best creations alongside Euclid, imo
Was so excited to wake up to this. Cannot wait for you guys to hit the track Mine, it is one of my top three. It's simple but the music hits just right. Hoping to hear a new tour annoucment this week! Happy Monday, guys!
Yes one of my favorite things vessel does with his voice is he flips into his head voice at the end of phrases or words to symbolize himself being broken or vulnerable. A true master of the vocie
That transition out of the piano changed music for me. As you guys were saying about the lyrics, you don’t know why but they are the best you’ve heard. I’ve never experienced anything like that and I CANNOT GET ENOUGH OF IT WORSHIP
i like to think that sundowning make a feel like you’re in a forest reminiscing on a past relationship that maybe wasn’t a good time, and where neither of them were healthy and they depended on each other. TPWBYT has a vibe with every song that builds an atmosphere that you’re underwater. i don’t know how they do it. but it’s amazing. Tmbte just makes you feel like you’re in eden and it’s unearthly. i can’t wait for you to get to the whole album because it is pure mona lisa artwork! this album also has some of the best drum work you will ever hear!
I'm so happy to see you guys react to this song! This Place will Become your Tomb is amazing, can't wait to see more reactions in the future 💙💙 love your videos!
This was the first sleep token song I ever heard, and it's still my favourite. I get goosebumps remembering the way I reacted when I heard it. Vessels voice is so hauntingly beautiful - one of his best performances
You guys are amazing!!!❤ Your channel is one of the best and favorite for me.❤I love the way you pay attention to detail ,understand the meaning of the lyrics. notice and accentuate catching moments in the music.love your sincere emotions!!! you are the best!!!and , yes, Sleep Token are gorgeous🖤🖤🖤🔥🔥🔥 WORSHIP 🤘🏼
Seeing it live is incredible - yes I cried when he sang it. This song hit me hard the first time I heard it. Atlantic is a good example of Vessel's skill at writing a song that people can relate to for different reasons. It may be about "unaliving" oneself but I could relate through a painful loss. Other friends related through their own painful events and some for the same reason in the song. It's a skill not many have. Heads up - they will be announcing a tour soon. Worship.
The best Album opener ever!!! Idk how you guys can wait to do sleep token songs. I have been binging everything Sleep Token , since i discovered them. Great will power!!!
I can't tell you guys the amount of joy I felt when I saw you guys finally got to listen to Atlantic as it's probably one of my most listened-to Sleep Token songs. I wholeheartedly agree with Eric when he says that, "lyrically, it's really interesting...it's some of the best words I think I've ever heard put together." The metaphors employed in the first few verses are some of the best I've heard used in any song. It's so mysterious it's leaves one longing to get more of a grasp on what exactly Vessel is trying to convey. When he says, "Crumble like a temple built from future daughters to wasteland when the ocean recedes," it feels about as dark and mysterious as the depths of the Atlantic Ocean itself and, even though I may not know exactly what Vessel is trying to say at this point in the song, I really love the abstract imagery I get from this verse. But, once he goes into the second set of verses, *especially* when he says, "They talk me through the damage, consequence, and how it's a pain they know they don't understand," you start to understand the meaning of it all - that this is all likely surrounding a self-harm attempt - and you can feel the raw emotion and agonizing pain in his voice. This is made more apparent when he says, "Bandage up the trenches" in which "trenches" likely refers to a very deep wound, perhaps even a physical one. After listening to this, you can't help but feel like you're sinking deeper and deeper into the Atlantic with him. "Atlantic" may, perhaps, be a small glimpse into Vessel's pained soul, but it does an amazing job in setting the tone for the rest of the album. You two are in for a treat. Also, F's in the chat for our boi Vessel.
I've been waiting for you guys to get to this album ever since you started your Sleep Token journey. I really believe you guys will appreciate everything it has to offer. Welcome to, imo, their most underrated album.
Recent sub here and I gotta say this channel brings me so much joy seeing the aspects from different music enthusiasts but enjoying the same stuff, really just makes me happy that I can kick back and listen to my fave music and watch others experience that same feeling. Keep it up 👍
Great video guys. After reading a post on a sleep token group about the meaning of this song, I can only see one meaning to this song now. Not 100% sure if they were legit, but said they had inside info on what this story is actually about. It's basically part 2 of "dark signs". It's about a friend that had a very violent or rocky relationship with his significant other. Possibly vessels closest friend in the past. In Atlantic this friend crashed their car into the water during an argument, killing the significant other and putting himself in the hospital, Possibly in a coma. "Crumble like a temple built from future daughters"- the idea their life together and possible future children will now never happen. "When the oceans recede"- when they're pulled from the water after the crash. "It's blue light over murder for me"- ambulances in the UK have blue lights, not red like here in the U.S....the murder is him feeling like he killed the s.o. "woke up surrounded, eyes like frozen planets"- the family or friends standing around his bedside. "It's a pain they don't understand " - They tell him what happened, "sobbing as they turn to statues"- he or they are crying about the s.o. and in that moment time freezes for him to try to comprehend what he's done. "Trying not to crush into sand"- obvious one. Final verse that's ramped up, sounds like he's underwater, taking his own life because he couldn't handle what happened. This time, he doesn't want to be pulled from the water....."don't you wake me up" if this is true, I feel like this further cements his lyrical genius 🙌. Also makes me think several songs, like Euclid could be about this friend
I've listened to everything by Sleep Token I can get my hands on and I love going back through everything with you guys again. So much starts standing out. You guys pull out meanings and things I hadn't thought about before. Can't wait to see the rest of your journey through their music!!!!
HELL YES! I have been waiting since July or August for you guy to do this song! I tune in daily to see what you guys put up! Thank you for the great videos!
love this trilogy so much. sundowning to me is the yearning for love, tomb is about the pain and suffocation and drowning feeling that comes from a failed love, and TMBTE is the acceptance of losing it and moving on. such a masterpiece.
God, I am so excited for the both of you to experience this album! This is some of their best work, and I think Eric is going to absolutely LOVE some songs in specific without spoiling too much! I can't wait for more!
This is my number one favorite Sleep Token song. I was smiling from ear to ear when I heard this live. The general consensus from the fan base is this is mostly about a failed suicide attempt/depression more so than solely focusing on the deity "Sleep." Most of their songs aren't directly correlated to Sleep, more so these songs are "offerings" to her. Love you guys, enjoy the ride, more awesome tunes to come. Worship!
This is one of my favorites by them: the lyrics, the music, the sounds, the drums, just all of it. It makes me float and crash in the best way possible.
You two crack me up because I swear with every new song you hear ya'll are like "Oh dude, this is my new favorite" lmao. It's impossible to choose because EVERY song is phenomenal. I cannot put into words how much I'm enjoying this journey with you guys as you experience all of Sleep Token's songs like this for the first time because it mirrors exactly how it all felt for me that first time as well and in a way I'm reliving it all over again. It's interesting watching your emotions to the music, hearing your opinions of what the lyrics mean to you, hearing you be open when some of them confuse you but you can't wait to explore more of the lore to see what you find out. Just watching in real time as you two fall further down the rabbit hole into the fandom of this amazing band.
Ooooh, can't wait for your reaction to Hypnosis! I remember Eric said that he didn't like it that much, but I hope for a second chance for the song. It was the first song from Sleep Token I ever listened to, and it got me HOOKED
I was stood at a bus stop with this playing through my headphones on, and it started raining in real life at the same time as the song. This song brings that
I went back and watched all your Sleep Token reactions and I have thoroughly enjoyed going on this adventure with you guys. Love the videos and I can’t wait for you to hear the rest of this album!
One of my favorite sleep token song. So glad you guys got to experience it. It is a amazing song with so much more to come. A great reaction as always guys.
The butter cookie tin joke at the end KILLED me! So excited for you guys to go through Tomb! Atlantic is easily one of my top 3 favorite Sleep Token songs and in my opinion is the strongest album opener they have yet. Can't wait for you guys to be absolutely flooded by the artistry in this album!
Been waiting for you guys to do this song since TMBTE 😂 This song is amazing. Easily one of my favorites. Y’all should definitely check this out live on your own time. Excited for yall to get into this album!

Unless we're going by Nik Nocturnal's logic in which case "wash the salt from my hands" is referring to cum
Also the song is called Atlantic. So he’s washing his hands in salt water. Then he washes that salt off in the rain, which is fresh.
@@jacksonconstantine5740 Good catch I didn’t think of that. That also now reminds me of “Treading ancient water salt” from Jericho.

Also it being the first song Vessel sang again made it even better for me. Absolutely amazing song

pretty sure its about his gf dying lol
his gf died in a cr accident that ended her car into a pool of water. which is all the water references, he was also in the car but he made it luckily
The Love You Want has a really nice music video, too!
I’m the same! I absolutely love those songs. Fall for Me is definitely my favorite of theirs. I get emotional every time
Fall for me gave me an anxiety attack from crying so much the first time I heard it. Hit me right in the feels love the song
Can't wait for you guys to get to High Water. Crushing in so many ways
One of my favorites off the album. That breakdown is insane.
That's going to be a video worth watching.
"Sorry I didn't mean to pause already" - it's ok....we knew it was coming. We always know it's coming lol
Don’t make us wait long #WORSHIP
cant wait for hypnosis
I am so glad we agree. Couldn’t have said it better.
You two amuse the hell out of my vampire self. Hat's off from an overnight worker who loves watching you react to random music.
The second verse clarifies a lot, it’s about waking up in a hospital bed after a suicide attempt, and the people close to him surrounding the bed. And how he felt at the time.
II is so underrated on the drums... He's an absolute monster 🤘
Hearing this song live is incredible. Vessel and the piano are so captivating and beautiful. I couldn’t stop listening to this song after the concert.
it's fucking amazing man. It's hard not to cry when you hear this song live
The drummer is killing! Holy shit! And the lyrics, also. I don't even understand how some one can be that poetic
I would 100% cry singing this song. Just then thought of performing it live gives me goosebumps
" don't wake him up "
"Marry in the morning, earn your bitter father
It's easier to try not to eat"
You have the lyrics wrong--not that your interpretation is wrong. This is very much a song about surviving death in one way or another.
@@batwaynebruceman7287 whatever helps you sleep at night 😂😂😂😂
@batwaynebruceman7287 actually sir it's merry in the morning. Earn your bitter fodder. The lyrics to all the songs are printed on a sheet that comes with the vinyl copy of the album.
@batwaynebruceman7287 thanks for helping me correct the correct lyrics by providing the incorrect lyrics, I appreciate it
atlantic was my first song i listened to with sleep token and it took me a couple of listens to fully appreciate what sleep token did, and once i did, i delved into their library and fell in love with the band.
AHHHH!! I waited for this so longggg🥳🥳🥳
Love it! Love you guys! From the Projekt Atlantic team 🩵
Yesssss!!!!
For me, this one was the song that made my mind explode because of the meanings and my heart break because of the emotions. This one was the song that made me fall in love with these guys. It is an absolute masterpiece. One of their best creations alongside Euclid, imo
It's just beautiful poetry on top of incredible music
Atlantic is my absolute favorite and I've been waiting for you guys to do this one!
This intro inspired me to teach myself piano. One of the most beautiful pieces I’ve heard
Oh Absolutely ❤
Atlantic is my favourite Sleep Token song. I always get tears from the second chorus
Yay!!!! I’m excited for your journey into Tomb
We're here finally! So looking forward to the reactions to "Fall For Me" and "The Love You Want".
Was so excited to wake up to this. Cannot wait for you guys to hit the track Mine, it is one of my top three. It's simple but the music hits just right. Hoping to hear a new tour annoucment this week! Happy Monday, guys!
Thank you guys SOOO much for introducing them to me! 🫶🤗❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥💯 BUTTONS, nothin but BUTTONS! 🤣🤣🤣
Yes one of my favorite things vessel does with his voice is he flips into his head voice at the end of phrases or words to symbolize himself being broken or vulnerable. A true master of the vocie
The lyrics for this song are some of the best ever written...
That transition out of the piano changed music for me. As you guys were saying about the lyrics, you don’t know why but they are the best you’ve heard. I’ve never experienced anything like that and I CANNOT GET ENOUGH OF IT
WORSHIP
The instrumentals are beautifully oceanic in this album
My favorite ST album! I can't wait for you guys to unpack it all. A beautiful emotional roller coaster.
Been looking forward to this reaction
And I welcome both of you to the "Album of ii". He shines in this album so much more than in TMBTE.
Yayyyyy I am so ready for this album. Very excited to see your reactions to it finally
I’ve been waiting for his one!! Thank you!
i like to think that sundowning make a feel like you’re in a forest reminiscing on a past relationship that maybe wasn’t a good time, and where neither of them were healthy and they depended on each other.
I’ve been waiting for this reaction since yall started your journey on sleep token.
I'm so happy to see you guys react to this song! This Place will Become your Tomb is amazing, can't wait to see more reactions in the future 💙💙 love your videos!
This is my all time favorite album by them
This was the first sleep token song I ever heard, and it's still my favourite. I get goosebumps remembering the way I reacted when I heard it. Vessels voice is so hauntingly beautiful - one of his best performances
Always tuning in for the Token reactions, fellas 💪
Tomb is the goat and this song i also interpreted as the aftermath of a failed attempt
Hell Yea!!! The Journey continues. I'm so excited for this. Atlantic is such an amazing song. Awesome reaction as usual, guys🤘🏼🤌🏼
#Worship
super excited for you guys to react to Descending!!
The way Vessel sings this song live just breaks my heart...Thank you guys for your reaction)
I was hoping for this one!! Atlantic and High Water were absolute highlights on this album
Keep it up 👍
Welcome to Rykerroad, Tubaguyman! 🤗💜👍
This is the best album opener of all time 😭 my son has been learning piano and this is his favorite ST song!
I love this journey we get to take with you. Your Sleep Token reactions are my comfort videos. Thanks so much. ❤
God, I am so excited for the both of you to experience this album! This is some of their best work, and I think Eric is going to absolutely LOVE some songs in specific without spoiling too much! I can't wait for more!
Here we go!!!
The best album for me. Some of the most underrated songs in their discography.
i am so so so ready for your journey. it makes me emotional through the entire album
This is my number one favorite Sleep Token song. I was smiling from ear to ear when I heard this live.
The general consensus from the fan base is this is mostly about a failed suicide attempt/depression more so than solely focusing on the deity "Sleep."
Most of their songs aren't directly correlated to Sleep, more so these songs are "offerings" to her.
Love you guys, enjoy the ride, more awesome tunes to come.
Worship!
The thing Vessel does with his voice in songs like this - I'm obsessed. It's like his voice cries and it's heartbreaking and beautiful.
Finallllyyyy, my fave ST song
This and Euclid are my favorite songs by them. I'm so glad you're finally getting to experience this song.
Kyle, ...it is amazing live.
This is one of my favorites by them: the lyrics, the music, the sounds, the drums, just all of it. It makes me float and crash in the best way possible.
Been WAITING for this one
TPWBYT has become my favorite album of the three. It just cuts so fucking deep for me
Hell yeah man
I think since seeing them live at Wembley it's definitely become my favourite, it fully encapsulates the emotions of the band
LET'S GOOOO!! This is my favorite Sleep Token song ever. I didn't even watch the reaction yet but I am so hype.
This song brings that
First song I watched live and the one which got my friend who is over from the Ukraine into them ❤. Can’t wait until the reaction to High Water!
😔😔😔 These guys are just amazing. You both are amazing for taking this journey. I am grateful to be on this journey with you. Bring on Hypnosis!!!!🤘🏼
This song is stunning live, vessel on the keys just pouring his sould out. He choked up when i last saw them play this, absolutely beautiful
I went back and watched all your Sleep Token reactions and I have thoroughly enjoyed going on this adventure with you guys. Love the videos and I can’t wait for you to hear the rest of this album!
lol was not ready for you drinking out of a damn decanter😂😂😂
My favorite sleepy album
one of my favorite songs of all time. glad more people got to hear it.
I’m so happy that you guys are doing their whole discography! This is a rabbit hole worth going down.
This is my favorite Sleep Token album and I'm so excited for you guys to experience it. Every track is incredible, but "High Water" is the one that always gets to me the most. Thank you both for always being so thoughtful!
