Then you're clobbered over the head with 'Wonderwall', immediately followed by 'Don't look back in anger.' Is it any wonder you overlooked how utterly glorious track 5 on the album is? This is one of their very best.

Romer adlock Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and heres mine; I think the world now has a variety of different types of music that are much different from anything heard before. I love how a lot of things are so easily accessible because of the internet and so on and so on. In some aspects I do agree with you tho. I often try to forget about things around me, whether it is by youtube videos or music or whatever.

the band had trouble getting the drumming right live on stage with this song cos of the drumming starts/stops before a new verse in the song ( albeit alan white being a great drummer) I read somewhere that cos of the odd timing mishap when rehearsing it they left it off when playing live, plus even during this period of the band the song choice for live songs were huge, must have been a headache!

No pierdo la esperanza de que algún día los hermanos Gallagher puedan superar sus problemas y aunque sea, por una última vez, vuelvan a interpretar canciones de Oasis. No se si a alguien más le pasa, pero es como si esta música ya estuviera en sus vidas mucho antes de escucharla, como si fuera familiar. Siento que Oasis siempre fue parte de mi vida. Es que la voz de Liam es tan parecida a la de John Lennon (en mi opinión) que hace parecer como si estuviéramos escuchando una canción clásica de los Beatles... Por eso se escucha tan familiar

This song evokes you something really nostalgic. Like if you listen to this song almost everyday in a certain time of your life, it will make you shiver if you listen to it again some years later. It has something very special, like a youth fantasy in which you're experiencing the world in a cool way. Having said that, it still has some melancholy and loneliness in it. Amazing song.

I sang this for my graduation class that's only been 7 years but I think I turned some people to this version and hope it brings them the same joy of time and self reflection this song brings to me. And takes them back to simple times of our youth in school.

I was a total rave kid but at Glastonbury 94, while on the old Leeds combo (LSD and 2 E's), a mate dragged me to see a band he claimed was amazing. That band was Oasis. Totally changed my music taste instantly. Later on an Oasis song literally saved my life. But that's another story.
I don’t know why, but this song just knocks me for six every time I hear it... it just moves me. And I love that’s it’s like the hidden gem on the album - definitely the least talked about song but, for me, maybe... just maybe, their best ever song. There I said it. My mum got the morning glory album as a gift at work, she brought back home and left by the radio, me as a curious 9 year old brazilian boy without a favourite music genre yet grabbed the cd and started to play it, I couldn't understand English back them but I loved their music straight away! I listened to hey now dozens of time that day, reading the lyrics and trying to make sense of what it meant and even though this song was the very first in my life that I feel in love with!
Music was the main reason for me to try and learn English and all that started with hey now back in the late 90's, my musical taste devoloped throughout the years but it's impossible to forget the impact this album and specially this song had on me

Definitely one of the most underrated songs on the album it's an absolute banger and well written to let's hope these talks goes well and the boyos will back out touring were they belong together. Love this Band. There's more love for them now than they're ever was.
