Have you ever experienced that feeling of getting in your car on a Friday afternoon after a long day at work, it's a hot summer day and the weekend is beckoning, and a song comes on the radio that makes you feel that life in that exact moment can't get any better? That is "Some Might Say" for me.
Yes every time I listen to this song it takes me back to being 15 years old growing up in Manchester and feeling free ready to have a fucking great weekend. Still has the same effect on me all these years later. I no longer live in the UK and I miss the buzz of Manchester on a weekend but whenever this song plays, it transports me back to my youth.
I had a huge addiction to this album when I was with my ex girlfriend, when we broke up that kinda ruined Oasis for me, because we both liked them so much, but I recently relistened to this album last night for the first time in a while, and I’m really glad I did, because I’m glad I can actually faithfully say I’m able to enjoy this album the same way again.
Relationships can certainly destroy the love you once had for the songs. Among the great albums I can't listen to right now are Alice in Chains (Dirt), Nirvana (Unplugged), Red Hot Chili Peppers (Blood Sugar Sex Magik), Radiohead (OK Computer)...there are certainly specific songs as well. Music is a double-edged sword. Cheers!

다만 끝이란것의 허무함을 이겨내기 힘들땐 이 노래를 들으며 위로를 받는다. 끝은 새로운 시작이니까.
Best band ever to walk the planet 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽❤️❤️❤️👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
One of my faves from that album. In fact the entire album is great!
My favourite oasis song and ill be there in Aug at Edinburgh and hope to hear it
I used to listen to these bangers back in the late naughties as a college kid on my Sony Ericsson phone (yes, I discovered Oasis about a decade late)! All those bus journeys, they were one of the main bands that kept me company :) and times were good!
Now I listen to the same tunes now in my C63 AMG or Porsche Cayenne and yet somehow they just don’t hit the same :/
When times are good, embrace and cherish them. Keep your loved ones close and always give people the benefit of the doubt. It’s the people who make moments great ✌🏼💯💚
At the peak of their powers, they blew the world away with this rock masterpiece. The energy in this tune makes it their#1. Had to see it live to understand. Welcome.
Best drummer. God bless ya Tony
Best oasis songs in my opinion

The Real Oasis sound !! Awesome !! ♫ ♫ ♫Some might say that sunshine follows thunder
Go and tell it to the man who cannot shine ♫ Cheers !🍷
The first Oasis song I heard. It was on a chartbusters compilation tape along with Fools Gold by Stone Roses. Hearing those two songs lit the fire of a passion for music in me that has never died. This is still in my top 10 songs of all time

I love that their videos seem to always be ‘yeah the musics pretty decent so heres us playing it’
In fairness they tried burying the drummer in one of them
