Thanks for the tip on removing the whole line that made it much easier. I removed the filter and line like you did, but instead I cut the quick connect tip from the old filter with a fine tooth hack saw as far back as I could, the. stuck the regular disconnect tool in the line fitting and the cut end came right out.
Bro, after u have the low pro tool in place, take the fuel line and push it towards the filter and hold it there, now use the prying tool that came with the low pro
Thanks bro for your help and speedy responses, I got her running. I didn’t do anything different but jack up the front end of the truck for a few hours then she fired right up.
I swear mine doesnt have a filter what the heck. Thisbis the only one of my trucks that had a returnless fuel system and i sont see the filter anyplace.
Anybody know any way to get the line behind the filter that connects to the plastic hoses from the tank. Seems like I’d have to replace the front lines just for that one.
I was quoted $200 to replace my fuel filter on a 2003 chevy tahoe. The part is less than $20!!!! IS There any honest mechanics left in this world anymore?!!! Don't give me flag time when it truly takes so little time to do it.
Don’t you have any ideas on why I have no start after changing the filter i turned the key to the run position for the pump to run but It’s not getting fuel through the lines
@@tyscott4538 how much fuel is in the tank? Sometimes my truck won’t start when it gets to 1/4 tank or below and I’m pretty sure it’s my fuel pump / sending unit getting weak. But I can put a gallon or two in and it cranks right up. I thought the filter may fix that but still doing it with the new filter so I’ll be doing a sending unit in the near future.
That 3 pc tool is definitely a pain in the ass. Appreciate the video.

You didn’t show you disconnecting this doesn’t help
Great Video! Must be nice to work on rust free vehicles. Where I'm at my Tahoe is just about completely rusted out underneath.

It’s above a quarter of tank. yes mines does the same so I keep it away from that line. It’s just not getting fuel I’m clueless at this point.
bad filming. if youre gonna show how something is done, keep the subject in the frame!
