I'm seriously impressed with this platform. I think for the price...what more could you possibly want. The interior caramel/Alcantara is gorgeous...and you can hear the Roar of the engine so well..on a vid even. This Svr is at the top of my list

Just taken delivery of a 2021 fpace SVR and it’s a gem. Surprised at how refined it is. So relaxing and easy to drive and then it roars. This is a superb review, zonks and all. Keep watching the smiles, I have a smile meter to find out what he really thinks of cars and this gets one of the biggest grins going. I couldn’t agree more!

I defenitely love this car but I like both of them ( jaguar f pace svr and X5M) but the Jaguar looks even better more agressive and a even better exhaust

They will break in a Jag, or a BMW, or an Audi, or a Merc, or a Volvo. First they'll break under warranty, then they'll break when no longer under warranty, then they break too frequently and you sell the car. The only way to have almost nothing break is to buy a cheap Japanese hatchback. The only way to have nothing that breaks, is to not buy a car. Deal with it.

The 2020 has 550hp as well. The 2021 does not have 45hp more. The torque on the 2020 is 502 and on the 2021 515. Resulting in about .2 second difference 0-60.

This on throttle was legitimately exciting during one segment an ad started and I was seriously annoyed LOL! This FPace is a beast that satin racing green is aggressively elegant that cockpit well balanced the 2 tone leather is a nice touch wow Joe Jaguar should pay you this will make people want to own this vehicle
The British do interiors better than anyone IMO. Always look so nice. Just don’t wear cleats after a baseball game resting your left foot in the driver footwell though

I am decently well off and 90k to 100k is just way too much.I would get a Genesis GV70 with a longer warranty over this.I think it is a great vehicle--but with premium gas at 4 dollars a gallon and the way this thing drinks that--add in expenive insurance--spotty reliability--and bad depreciation--would skip this new.Only way i would get one is if a low mileage one was available in the 60k range and whatever delaer sells it offers an extended warranty.I just bought a KIA Stinger last year 3.3TT GT model and am happy and was also able to put over 30k back in the bank that I did not spend. I also need premium fuel--but drive in comfort mode and the 3.3 does not drink fuel like that 5.0 does.
Love your reviews. Wonder if you could add in a bit of comments on the AV systems on the cars that you review. That satin finish is worth every penny. For myself, I'd always pick the Jaguar. The inky real zonk, is that blasted wiper, especially when there's more than enough room under that very nice spoiler. Great review, Joe! Thanks for all your hard work, Lori! Another exemplary video for us

Mercs are so common these days. Every broke teenager owns an A-Class. Completely devalues the brand for me. Whereas the Jags are way more unique and classy.

@@StereoHound I took delivery of one shortly after Joe's initial MY 2021 F-Pace SVR and can attest to its liveability. One minute it can be a refined and comfortable daily driver. But flick it into Dynamic mode with Sport mode and it snarls, leaps, and eats asphalt at an amazing pace. And then flick it back into Comfort mode and it once again becomes a boulevard cruiser albeit an extremely good looking one. It is really 2 different machines unlike the BMW options and Alfa Stelvio which are full time boy racers.
@@stevegesner8835 Appreciate your reply. I'm glad you mentioned the Stelvio too. I was thinking between either the Giulia Quadrifoglio sedan or the F-Pace SVR as a winter daily. Driving experience is priority so AWD vs RWD isn't necessarily an issue. Problem is can't handle too stiff a suspension... Neither is easy to find for a test drive. Dealerships either don't have stock or very limited stock so won't allow a test drive, such a shame. From your experience, which vehicle would you compare it to that's very close in terms of suspension tuning? Currently have a Porsche Macan S, no air suspension, find it to be just right, a little firmer is okay but not by much. Saw Sam Carlegion's review of last model year's SVR mentioning the suspension being very stiff, kinda warrants a test drive before placing an order...

I drove the 2017 full time in Dynamic/Sport mode and found the ride quite comfortable except on the backroads of quebec where it struggled somewhat in the bendy bits. Comfort mode on the svr feels about the same as this while Dynamic/Sport mode tightens things down nicely to allow the svr to take curves at higher speeds than possible in the 2017. I haven't driven the Porsche. But I just find the BMW m/m comp models to be too stiff for "unspirited" driving. and as the old cliche goes, a jaguar owner can easily afford a BMW, an Audi, or a Merc. But the Jag owner actually wants a good looking machine. if you do get the svr and need winters, I found a set of lexani wheels on carid.com which support a staggered set (9s and 265/22/40 and 10s and 295/22/35) with pirelli winter tires.

Yes it’s the same platform as the xe project 8 ! It stays planted due to the awd and feels like a super car Trust me it will surprise you how well it grips , the track hawk is slightly quicker but it’s a buss to handle
I know I mentioned this in your review of the updated Fpace P400, but man I just can't believe a suv in this price range and class doesn’t have a release for the rear seats in the back, such a huge oversight.
It’s an option, part of the “Loadspace Practicality” package. Includes the release levers in the boot, some thicker adjustable floor rails, and a cargo net. $300 ish if I recall.
The BMW will have a slight tech edge, but that Ford AJ V8 will last twice as long as any BMW V8 and the ZF trans is bulletproof. Not to mention the F-Pace looks better. THIS is the one to get before the EVs take over.
@Raiti’s Rides I loved the review so much and the horsepower I had to add a brand new 2022 F Pace SVR to my collection and all I can say is this vehicle is a true beast with one killer exhaust. It’s as fun to drive as my 2023 C8 3LT Z51 fully loaded. I love my naturally aspirated V8 in. Y C8 but my Jaguar’s supercharged V8 has no lag like a turbo would and so much fun to drive. Now’s the time to get them because they will be going away.
Great review!! Always hated the British Green but done in matt finish is stunning! Updated my S version or this in few months and was planning to get it wrap in a special color. Nardo Grey or a satin color Will definitely consider this color now

8:30 The 2019-2020 also had 550 hp. You say the 2021 number so emphatically that people believe you that there was a change but there wasn't. The tq went from 502 to 516 though.
Fpace SVR was out of my range , but the P400 version was. After test driving it, I enjoyed it as it felt familiar to our last lease the XE35t .... GF had her heart set on the Velar , so I gave in.....
Got on saterday just based on this review love this car mainly because not a million of them on the street like you see BMWs and other competitors I think this is the best looking and sounding SUV on the market for 90k with all the maintenance included I don't think it's a bad deal at all
There was no horsepower increase in this car from 2020 to 2021. There was a 14 ft-lb increase in torque because of the use of the torque converter from the Project 8 sedan in the 2021 model.
Definitely one of the sexier SUV’s on the market 🔥🔥

My friend has the SVR. He originally wanted the Range Rover for the engine. But the dealer sold him this and he hasn’t regretted it.

8:30 The 2019-2020 also had 550 hp. You say the 2021 number so emphatically that people believe you that there was a change but there wasn't. The tq went from 502 to 516 though.

Fpace SVR was out of my range , but the P400 version was. After test driving it, I enjoyed it as it felt familiar to our last lease the XE35t .... GF had her heart set on the Velar , so I gave in.....
Got on saterday just based on this review love this car mainly because not a million of them on the street like you see BMWs and other competitors I think this is the best looking and sounding SUV on the market for 90k with all the maintenance included I don't think it's a bad deal at all
There was no horsepower increase in this car from 2020 to 2021. There was a 14 ft-lb increase in torque because of the use of the torque converter from the Project 8 sedan in the 2021 model.
