Thanks for the video we just picked up two in Phoenix and drove up to telluride for a week and one of ours was making this noise driving me crazy. We also got a “code 29 flame break” error on the Elwell interface panel and the heat shut off. Reported it to the dealer and they are looking into it.
Good suggestion. I'm just a couple weeks into my 2022 Revel and am finding your tips useful. In addition to the clicking from the pump the burner emits a high pitched sound like a jet taking off. The decibel level inside the unit makes sleeping impossible. Does your burner make similar sounds? I'm trying to figure out if it's a defective burner or not.
Glad my tips are help Glenn. There is a slight noise but that can register different to different people. If its that loud I’d take it in to them and have them check it. Sounds odd.
@@iAmMarchal - Your video helped us fix the tapping. Winnebago Customer Service referred me to Elwell (heater manufacturer). Elwell suggestion was incorrect, that the "noise was caused by the gray wire vibrating against the frame." Your video was correct. We used insulating foam around the bracket where you used Gorilla tape and have been noise free. Just wanted to thank you and so appreciate getting help from Revel owners. This site has helped us more than once.
Dave Kent. My opinion is it’s a good buy. But it’s not the end all be all. You should buy it expecting to upgrade some things. I would buy it again. I just completed a 8 day multi state trip and will have an impressions video on that this weekend detailing my experiences camping in 17 degree weather in Moab and then warmer Sedona. Driving off-road etc.
Marcus Aurelious !! Thanks for taking the time to help us all out, saved me a lot of head scratching 😀
😂 M/V. You’re welcome! After I scratched my head the whole trip I figured I’d save someone the same fate.

You’re welcome. Already an adventure I see. Sorry for the challenges. It’s interesting how many stories you hear like that.
Thanks Marcus. I finally got around to using a grommet.
Excellent. Anytime SJ2
Thanks for this fix, new to this and this tapping is one of my complaints. Going to fix it
You are welcome Jim! Glad to be able to help!

I am having this issue on a 2022 Revel. Has there ever been an official fix for this issue? My dealer “fixed it” and made it worse. Thanks.
Hey Peter. None that I’ve heard. My “fix” eliminated it for me. Didn’t even bother to make it any more robust.
