Thank you - excellent video. I purchased a 2023 Tiffin Wayfarer 25RW and received very little documentation about this system from the dealer. During our first trip using the RV we couldn't get any hot water. The dealer had a technical support line. It turns out, he watched your video first and then explained how to set it up. Turns out the Dealer never turned the hot water on with the Elwell System. Not sure what I paid for with $995 for dealer preparation. He told me to watch this video and it was extremely helpful in explaining the system. With a few touches of the screen I had hot water. It would be helpful to have a link to this video from the Tiffin website. Thanks again.

This is a great video. I don't know why Winnebago would provide this video in the documentation. I purchased a Winnebago Rpam in June 2023. haven't used the heating or water system at all. I wanted to make sure the heating system worked for this winter and have been struggling to get it working. The Winnebago documentation is too basic and no help, I get an error code 13 after a few minutes. If a still can't get it working I know who to call. Thank you for a great video.
Is there a way to schedule the heating unit to come on at a certain time? We like to sleep cold but would love the heater to come on at, say, 6am before we get up.
Thanks for the video. Is there a way to set a timer to start the heater? Example being it’s 60 degrees at 9pm but you know it’ll be 30 before sunrise and you want to start the heater around 2am while asleep. I’ve seen this available on a system, just not sure if yours has it. Thanks in advance

Looks like a great product and thank you for this video. I have been interested in this product but there is very little information about it, even on your website. I really appreciated the heating loop diagram. However, I did have a couple questions. First I dont fully understand the need for the separate loops (winter and summer). As long as the cabin fans arent turned on wouldnt the glycol just run through them and not heat up the cabin? Also when the summer loop is turned on, wouldnt there need to a second solenoid to shut off that cabin fan loop?
Hey Kyle, Thank you for your questions and interest. The purpose for the different loops is even if the fans were not engaged in the winter loop, heat would still radiate from the fan heat exchanger. By creating a summer loop, this will keep the glycol from radiating heat. Like electricity, fluid will take the path of least resistance. So when the solenoid is opened for the summer loop, the glycol in the system will completely bypass the fans and go back to the expansion tank.

I am debating between this or Rixen or or more of a DIY espar system. The main reason I am shying away from the Timberline is that there is just not really any pictures or videos of the installation or components. If I research the other two options I can find much more information and I get a better understanding of the whole system. I have heard or been told that your system is maintenance free, could you explain that more? Cause with the Espar every 2500 hrs or so, you need to clean it out and replace some o-rings and gaskets. What about being able to add and control a engine pre heating loop, is that feature available. I recently saw that the Rixen has a new control unit that requires a lot less cable to be run. Basically a brain with all the circuitry down by the fan, heater, pump that gets all the wires plugged into it and then just a single RJ45 cable gets run up to the controller. Is this the same for your system? Sorry for all the questions but there is just so little information and documents for your system.

I have a 2023 Jayco Granite Ridge , when I’m plugged into shore power and have both heater icons , gas and shore power , I am getting an alarm beeping coming from somewhere ? Can you help ? Thank you !
Good video, wish it had been out sooner. I spent nearly an hour trying to figure it out, since the dealer didn’t know how to operate it fully. Elwell, PLEASE, publish a better manual than Winnebago puts in their manual supplement 3/4 of a page does not do your system justice. Since this is a Binar system, please, help us figure a way to a heat the engine block and use waste heat to heat the Timberline system with out running the diesel heater.
I don't have this system but I'm interested in getting it, so I don't really know how the actual system looks. However, to heat the engine just use another plate heat exchanger in line with this system and instead of running water through the other ports, attach those ports to your engine coolant loop and put a coolant pump in that loop. When you want to heat the engine then run the Timberline heater and switch the added coolant pump on. If there is a way to switch the Timberline existing coolant pump on independently then you could use the same concept to use the engines extra heat to run to your water or coach heat.

I don’t have diesel, does this work with gas?
my air temp is showing 31F and my service info shows "NO" next to each of the last 4 items. Do I have a problem? If so, how do I fix it?
