Raw Gold by De Monaco on skin is unexplainable. And it lasts! The animalic aspect is perfectly balanced. And it works well in summer as well…even layered with florals like…Delina, Cassili, even MFK ‘s OUD Silk Mood. Raw Gold is worth every penny. By the way, you can get each of Thomas De Monaco’s new fragrances (the new one is called Eau Coeur, just released.) with a 15% discount to ZGO Perfumery if you look under The Perfume Guy’s recent video review on the new one, Eau Coeur. It’s so new it isn’t listed on Fragrantica yet
I like it a lot. Getting a back up bottle before they’re all gone. They’re reformulating them. Making it a bit less sweet and taking out the animalistic part of it
Plum in cognac, soul of oud, zaharoff tabac, mysterious oud by bortnikoff, nishane Ani, Herod. All of these are some of my favorite cooler weather fragrances.
Great list brother. . Raw Gold unbelievable. One of my favorite releases for the last few years... And I'll have to look into this Baruti you mentioned sounds very interesting ✌🏻
Thank you, Fosco! Glad to hear that you enjoyed the video 😊 Baruti is a great house! Perverso, Tindrer, Chai, Berlin im Winter and Nooud are also fragrances that deserve all the attention 👌
Hello my favorite reviewer! I went out and got Baruti "Dama Koupa" a few months ago because I watched your favorite Iris fragrances video. I must say that this fragrance has grown on me. It had something in it that was off-putting and the iris was a lot more earthy and rooty than I expected. Like you, I already had dior homme intense, dior homme parfum, dior homme original, Latessa, and a few other iris fragrances so I'm very familiar with iris. But I'm starting to really like the dry down of this "dama Koupa" and the opening is still growing on me!
Thank you so much for your support, my friend! Really appreciate that 😊🙏 Yes, I see what you mean! The iris in Dama Koupa is much more intense, and rooty. More challenging than the designer iris fragrances, but the quality of Dama Koupa is simply outstanding and I'm glad that you gave it a second chance and now you are appreciating it more 😊
My Holy Grails are: Le Lion Ambre Précieux Malesia Alexandria2 Musk Therapy (and Dua’s dupes and hybrids of it particularly Princess Therapy) Raw Gold Rose D’Arabie Coromandel Behold Patchouli Blackbird by Olympic Orchids Hibiscus Palm Vanilla 28
I like Rochas Femme a lot but as a woman who struggles wearing chypres, this one is no exception and I find it a bit masculine too, Among my HG are Ormonde Woman, Cuir Ottoman, Feminité du Bois, Allure Sensuelle. Regarding Acqua di Sale I could not avoid thinking of Acua di Scandiola from Parfum d´Empire, the only natural smelling salty oceanic fragrance I have come across (I do not know the one you mentiioned) Thanks for your reviews
We love your videos. Your nose tells us which fragrances to try and eventually purchase. What I would like to see and hear from you is which outfit did you wear with the fragrances. Casual, a suit, going out to eat, walking through the mall or local grocery store, etc, etc. Out of your hundreds of fragrances in reality, which fragrances do you really wear? My niche journey started with Mancera-Red Tobacco and Instant Crush. For some crazy reason I only purchase niche fragrances. I have about 30 fragrances. I want to stand out with my fragrance scent. I really do not care if I get a compliment. I want to smell different for myself. You bring different fragrances for your viewer's. Take care and keep talking about fragrances.
If you like Gucci Guilty Absolute then try Chopard Black Incense Malaki. Same perfumer, if rumours are correct, but he's made it smoother & much more wearable, too. Only £45 for 80ml in the UK. A big improvement, imo.
I'm very to try that line of Chopard! More than once I was very close to blind buy a few of them, including Black Incense, but for some reason, I end up buying other fragrances 😅
@@ScentedMoments são os meus proximos niche.... Embora não conheça o interlude. O meu último perfume foi o oud malaki chopard... Conheces? Faz me lembrar o costume national homme parfum no início e o tabacco oud no drydown. Hoje conheci também um bom perfume o Tam Dao dyptique parfum. Tenho muita curiosidade no santal 33 também.
Two very different fragrances: Loewe 001 Man EDP is a fresh iris, with a carrot seed accord, creamy musk and cedarwood in the base, whilst Myrrh & Tonka is a fresh, slightly sweet scent, with a light resinous/incensey touch. If anything, Myrrh & Tonka is a more elegant version of Chanel Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme, imo
Would love to have or at least get a decant of Serge Lutens Fille En Aiguilles. It's hard to find however (even for decants) and very expensive. I love the house of Serge Lutens and have a few from them but this one is on my wish list.
Another FANTASTIC tree fragrance is inexpensive- it’s Blackbird by Olympic Orchids and it is fir trees and blackberries in a bottle- late summer in the PNW. I love it and prefer it to Enchanted Forest for example.
A backup bottle of Raw Gold was one of my best fraghead moves this year. It is freaking amazing and GROWN. Really enjoy how you take you time, especially with your list videos.
I’m considering a second backup bottle, as my bottle in use goes down towards half gone! I’m addicted. Have you tried the new one by Thomas De Monaco, Eau Coeur?
@@saunterscamper3952 I have tried his newest yet. I may just buy it come November if I can’t get a good sample w/ atomizer next week. I totally agree, Raw Gold is very addictive to smell and wear.
Yeeaaaahhh baddaaayyy! ❤️ Your Roadhouse video on Uncut Gem was brilliant, but shocking at the same time 😁😅 I'm curious to try it and experience the disaster myself!

Tobacco oud not discontinued in the UK. Can be found in John Lewis or Tom ford store in Knightsbridge

Thank you for posting this helpful video:)

Heads up for Gucci Guilty Absolute. Such a potent, dominant scent for summer. I wanted to sell my bottle, but now I'm keeping it safe.
Interlude 53 is the best version out of all of them
Very curious to try it out
I love TF Tobacco Oud, I prefer it over Oud Wood

Amber Oud is the best from the Malaki line.
I agree that Amber Oud is my fav of three from Malaki line.
