Lisa, you're BRILLIANT! Even though I'm not a grower/seller & just a home gardener, thank you for your encouragement, tips and inspiration! I'm always astonished by your concise, straightforward and honest advice. You've made the world a more beautiful place for all of us. Thank you!
I just ordered some of my Lisanthus from Farmer Bailey. 3 trays. Im a first year flower farmer. As a safety measure I ordered several trays of plants just in case I experience crop loss. I am prepared to order more through the season to make sure the first year is a success. I am starting a you pick so mixes which typically are cheaper are the way I am going. I am growing specialty cuts at my house for special order bouquets. I promised my husband I would landscape everything in a couple yard but for now our front years will look like a micro flower farm. We have 3/4acre getting fenced off for the you pick on our 6 acres
Have a good resource that we can look into buying plugs through for the hobby gardener/cut flower grower? I signed up with farmer Bailey then realized it wouldn’t be a good fit for me! I’m a first year cut flower grower! But these plugs look beautiful!
Thanks for all the useful information!! My question is how can a hobby gardner get a hold of a flat of lisianthus seedlings if you're not a commercial grower with a license???❤
What a wonderful wealth of knowledge. So glad I found your channel. I'll be sure to mention it in my videos as I work on seed starting and gardening this year!
I have been wanting to brag about your shipping on how impressed how fast you ship with a small staff. I found you a month ago and ordered 3 times so thank you and am very impress and will come back. P.S. have been watching all of your videos several times and bought both of your books. Have learned so much and this year for the first time i’m doing flower seeds along with my vegetable seeds. I’m obsessed
I just did a video on growing lisianthis from seed- my lissi babies are so beautiful! I'm one of those that love seed starting, & I'm only going into my 2nd year, so i dont buy plugs but I totally understand it's necessary for some farmers!
Love your brain, Lisa!! There's a wealth of information in there that I so appreciate! I must order the Lambada...is it a cool weather flower? You may have said, but I missed it.
Since i dont have time to plant cold hardy flower seeds. How can I order Lisianthus plugs for just home grower dabbling on my favorite flowers so I can have my own flowers instead of just veggie garden.
I love that tray of baby lisianthus! 😊 Thank you for glugging maintaining professionalism when things don't arrive as we hope. Pun intended. Bashing the grower, even when you are very, super duper disappointed, is so unprofessional, also negative/discouraging for your viewers/followers. Give the grower a chance to work out the problem before you spread a negative word. The delivery person is obviously to blame for any damage to Lisa's plants, not the grower. It makes me think how upsetting it would be if I produced bunches or bouquets and something happened that caused them to be damaged or not preform as they typically do, and the customer or florist, just let loose on social media, bashing my product or me/my motivations before contacting me to let me discover the cause of the problem and make it right. There is no need for farmers to be malicious towards growers, we are in this together, we need each other. Peace everyone, peace and success growing and selling very early hardy annuals 2022. 🌻 Thank you Lisa for the important reminder to maintain professionalism. 🌻
Lisa, I'm growing Feverfew for the first time in the small soil blocks. Thus far, nothing has germinated. Since the seed is surface sown should I be spraying water on the top of the soil block? Any special tips on Feverfew? Thanks so much!
Thank you 💛🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻
🌷thank you for your great information 😊
