Testing the Gong Kluber Board - Is it too short?

- I had the chance to test the Gong Kluber Board with 80cm at Lake Zug and was really surprised.

Interesting topic… I cut my wooden Pumpboard from 100 cm to 86cm to Check the differences in dockstarting and pumping. The differences where huge 😂 Jumping on the board as before was not possible anymore. It threw me just in the air. So I just try to glide at first like the Beta foil guys and it worked. Pumping is far more effective than with the 100cm Boardlength. Conclusion: on a shorter board you hit the sweetspot naturally. The footposition is very essential for Body and foil static und dynamic.
Still when I Look on my feet during pumping, there is a lot of space to both ends. Now I ordered the 80cm Kluber to pump even more effecive….hope it works…

unfortunately, the board comes without an bag and strangely, Gong does not have a tiny bag lake this so far. I will probably buy this thing: www.gong-galaxy.com/en/products/gong-foil-board-sock-bag So far I had it in the original shipping box
Hi, I am a beginner, I have some experience with wing foiling, will I find it difficult to start with a 95? If I progress will I need the 80 or I can still find it convenient? Thanks
It depends a bit on your overall balance and frustration tolerance. I think it will take some time to learn the dockstart, but the 95 should be a good board to learn with. I didn`t try the 95 from gong yet, so I don`t know how great the difference is. There are several people that are staying with a 90/95.

@@MaximKachurovskiy depends on your country and tax, but something in between 2-2.5K but they also have cheaper options
