the "12% more efficent" migth only concern the fuselage itself. So, if glide resistance is caused also by Mast Frontwing Stab etc - the 12 % more efficiency of fuselage is perhaps 1-X % of total System -
I think so as well. It`s clever marketing. I thought they would improve the efficiency of the frontwing. A thinner mast will be more efficient for sure.
I bought the v3 hm 77 in 15 mm, the Veloce HDW in S and Veloce stab in s. The gear is amazing! The connection to the front wing is perfect I would argue, all of the power goes into the material and it seems super sleek. The mast is plenty stiff, yet when compared to axis ultra/ afs (different price range tho) it has a lot of chord. Can't wait to see how it feels on bigger front wings, as a 750 sqcm feels good oon pretty much any other mast :D So for everyone whos into downwinding, I can really recommend the HDW :)
Great to hear from you. I wondered what happened to you that you didn`t post that much videos anymore. Are you going to downwind with the Veloce HDW S? That is super small, isn`t it?
That v1/v2 square wing connection never gave me any problem in any discipline, it's always the mast to fuse connection bolts that get loose, no big deal though. I am surprised to see no big v3 Curves in the lineup, they seem like a way better option for people who want learn on a freefoil setup than running Siruses. I did see v3 Siruses on Gong's website yesterday, the specs were identical to the V2 which if true is great but there's still room for the 4xlh and 6xlh in the lineup in my opinion.
Mast to fuselage connection is not about screws getting out, but mast getting in the fuselage letting the screws untight, you can get rid of the issue either by hitting hard the fuselage with a rubber hammer when you install it but it's a pain, or just let your fuselage installed on the mast and the issue will disappear expect once after each time you need to change a messy or fuselage (I have 2 masts of different lengths so I bought 2 fuselages in order to avoid the issue). V3 doesn't change a thing on that.
Bro video out too late, sirus v3 dropped yesterday, shipping in nov. Shape is exactly the same! Might still be worth it for screws not getting loose ^^

@@michaelweidner4042 that was also my thought. But I thought as well that they would be able to increase the effiencency of the Sirus frontwing and stab by 12%. It turns out they, didn`t. The only question is how much difference does it make that the Sirus is now much lighter. They didn`t give a number for that which is strange. Is being lighter helping to glide more? If yes, why don`t they give a calculation for that?
Thanks! Didn’t know V3 was out. Appreciate your video.
thank you very much

😂😂😂 what bad timing!😂😂😂
Also 12% more erficient does not mean 12% longer. Like if you reduce jogging intensity by 10% you pbbly last longer than 10% more...
very good point, I didn`t think that far...
Exactly this.

The Sirus v3 was just released
Whatttt???!!!
yes, my video was too late or Gong too early
