Just wondering if you fear pin failure, either disfunction by self release, or structural failure, ...which seems the weakest part of the constitution?
Never had any fears about it. I am wearing all my watches with confidence.

As much as I love Tim’s reviews theyre sometimes not 100% accurate, so I was looking for some legit source to confirm or deny it. Thanx for link anyway, appreciate it.
@@Butik1 For whatever it's worth, I have asked several JLC boutiques(not ADs, but brand operated boutiques) this question directly and they told me it is solid gold. Kind of matches my expectation, as usually you can visually tell also whether something is solid or plated - to me, it looked solid. I think Tim got confused because there are some models that do have a grey tungsten rotor of the same design.

Any insight why there is no outside AR?
I think this is a choice. Many people complain, that outside AR gets scratches. I do not agree, since I have Omega, Longines & Breitling with awesome AR, but still - many manufacturers don't use it on the outside. Rolex for instance started to use inside AR just recently (previously there was none).
