    Amazing riding. You really show off the FZ-07's capabilities. I bought one last year, put an Akrapovic Carbon pipe on it, and can't imagine loving a bike more. Was thinking of buying a second bike this year, but after seeing this, it would be a much better idea to improve my skills on the FZ-07. Cheers.

      V10symphony I ended up going with a DRZ400SM. I found a really good deal on it and it's got enough 'go' for me to learn to ride in slow-mo until I can get the skills to go fast. :) 440 big bore, stage 1 HotCams, lotsa grunt, but geared for no top end. Suits me fine for the time being.

  • @yasagureR
    @yasagureR 8 років тому

    Looks lots of fun.
    Although other rider rides supersport seems to be not used to ride on the track (didn't twist so much even on the stretch).
    And you seems not to take serious time cutting line, but surprisingly you are fast on the stock tyre and shocks.
    Cheers

    Dude that's some nice riding! It boggles my mind on how you guys lean so much! Last time i tried it while learning the bike just toppled and i just stood there like a clueless kid whose candy got stolen. lol

    • @SmegmaDaddyXL
      @SmegmaDaddyXL 8 років тому +2

      +Rohit s leaning like that is only possible with speed
      you can't lean as hard going 30 mph as you can going 60, take it slow while you're learning, as you ride longer you'll eventually get the feel with what you can do and hopefully you wont have any spills where you can't stank up and look clueless.

    • @lakshmans770
      @lakshmans770 8 років тому

      Worst lowside for me though. I did understand that the speed was a little less but my tyre cross section wasn't that wide either. Does one need to attend a riding school of some sort to establish a set of fundamental "good habits" Curtis?

    • @SmegmaDaddyXL
      @SmegmaDaddyXL 8 років тому +3

      +Rohit s i wouldnt say its mandatory but a good teacher can get you there much more quickly and safely. its also great to be able to practice off a public roadway without middle aged women doing their makeup on the way to work in their 3 ton SUVs trying to run you off the road

    • @lakshmans770
      @lakshmans770 8 років тому +1

      Funny thing is i have commuted on a motorcycle for close to 8 years already. I havent taken up sport riding yet but recently i did get my Yamaha R3 and want to experience the track! and lol @ The SUV comment. Roads are congested as hell in my city so i err to the side of caution and ride safely be it in the city or the highway.

    • @JojoCrazyCat

    • @v10symphony75

      Yes. When leaning aggressively it scrapes right away. Scraped a few times in this video. Removing the safety pins helps though.

      @v10symphony75  9 років тому +2

      +Apex under heavy braking nose dive is serious accompanied by wobble. With suspension mods, rearsets and maybe clipons the bike would be a lot faster. Still lots of fun on the track stock.

    Are you a pro rider in the novice group? MT 07 is a cool bike but no way can it whoop 1000cc bikes. it's all rider skill

    • @JojoCrazyCat
      @JojoCrazyCat 8 років тому +2

      +Mark Ullyett Yes i agree.

    • @HLBmusix
      @HLBmusix 8 років тому +13

      +Mark Ullyett I do not agree. The MT 07 has a torque you wont believe. You can have 200 hp. When there is no torque to get this power to the street, you it does not matter how high the number of your hp is. The higher your torque, the higher the actuel hp on your back wheel is. So the mt 07 can match with some 1000cc bikes

    • @markullyett

    I love my fz07, same color as yours. do you have any suspension/performance modifications?

    • @BaxterretxaB
      @BaxterretxaB 9 років тому +1

      +Baxter Draughn noticed the throw on your throttle twist seems stock, i switched my throttle tube for the r6 tube and love it, no more twisting my wrist so far to hit WOT if you haven't already changed it by now its a great under 20$ fix.

    • @v10symphony75
      @v10symphony75  9 років тому

      +Baxter Draughn stock

    • @v10symphony75
      @v10symphony75  9 років тому

      +Baxter Draughn yea that long throw is tedious on the track, you can see how far im twisting. I got myself an R6 recently so im keeping this throttle tube on the fz, its easier to balance wheelies with this one.

    • @BaxterretxaB
      @BaxterretxaB 9 років тому

      ah i see, why get just the throttle tube when you can get the whole bike haha. and i did notice that about the wheelies, since doing the swap the throttle is a bit more violent when trying to keep bumping the front end up when your wheelie is falling. watching this video gives me a bit more confidence in the ability of the fz07s cornering capabilities...you were killin it on that track.

    • @v10symphony75
      @v10symphony75  9 років тому

      +Baxter Draughn yea, I'll just keep the fz-07 the way is. No matter what I do, I can't make it do something it wasn't designed to do. The fz07 doesn't have a ton of front end feel but it holds in the corners. The most crucial thing is to keep heat in the tires. Once those babies are hot, the bike is a different animal.

    • @luuk341
      @luuk341 8 років тому +2

      +Willians Barros mt07 is superior to the Er6n, The MT has the samebasic HP but it operates like a Vtwinj so the power comes in earlier. The MT is also way lighter than the ER. It also has a shorter wheelbase which makes it turn in quicker.

    • @ifrit35

    • @v10symphony75
      @v10symphony75  9 років тому +2

      I don't understand your question? 60 mph is possible in 3rd

    • @dtigliano
      @dtigliano 8 років тому +1

      +V10symphony i guess im confused then on how it works. So i can be in 3rd and do 60 as long as the revs match, yes?

    Drag handlebars to help you really get in the courners and a M4 exhaust no DB would serve you well. Nice riding though

    The funny thing is, with a rider this good, he would do just as well using any of the bikes in this vid.

    I'm waiting to order my MT07 (2016 year model UK) n this has just made it worse!! I WANT IT!! LOL.. no great video!! I know 'it's all about the rider' but that MT07 did more than 'keep up' ☺😎😜👍👍

      Bike isn't the fastest but you will never get bored of the torque it produces and the power band of that inline twin. I still think this is the nicest sounding bike with an aftermarket pipe. It barks like hell!
