This is the most attractive FZ-07 that ever existed, and will likely remain that way until the end of time. Seriously in love with your bike. This is the second time I've watched your video, and it only helps solidify my thoughts about this bike. is a 19 year old still in college... I won't be getting one in the immediate future, but this will be the bike that makes riding, worth riding for me.

I got me a windshield. Its smaller then the one you have. I didnt know it was that small. Ordered from the internet. I got some bags for the back, engine guards. I just ordered some handlebar risers, and cruise control. Will be making videos of those as i add them. Oh, and i love the hell out of this FZ 07 bike. Even though i am adding and changing things.

Nice. I'm picking mine up this thursday in the graphite/race blue. I bought a windscreen that they've already put on but it's not near as big as I thought it'd be. Might have to get one more like yours depending on how much wind I get.

Where did you get the map for the Yoshimura pipe?
Sean Wallace Since Power Commander didn't have a map available for download I am currently using the map for a Graves exhaust since it closely follows how the Yoshimura exhaust is like, at least in appearance.
I was wondering if the Arrow map would run better with the Yosh?
I was wondering where exactly u got that Saddleman Seat from? I tried their website with no luck. I am short and a lower seat would help me out a lot!!

The dealership i bought it from took it to the Saddleman facility. I was told they used mine as a template since they didnt offer a seat for it yet so I dont know how far along they are in releasing their version of the seat to the public.

That is by far the best naked bike i have ever seen!! It even looks better than the manufacturer design!! I'm seriously considering this bike. But after looking at yours I am definitely sold on its modifications!! Aprilia Shiver and Ducati Monster were front runners but not anymore thanks to you!! If you don't mind me asking how much did all these extras cost to make it took so good? Also, where did you find your front red cover just under the tank?

Absolutely love what you did to your bike. From an artistic design standpoint everything flows perfectly. The questions I have are about function.... is the seat is less comfortable and why did you wait to do the shocks last?
victorstennis I like the seat more than stock... feels wider so it doesnt fee like it rides up your ass. The shocks were a little hard to get... it took a while to find a place that could ship it that was local in the US at the time.

+Daniel Schlegel No they do not flop around... there is a hard plastic frame inside the bags so they retain their shape well. When the bags are fitted on the mount system they can also be locked in place with a key lock.
how does it ride on the interstate and highways? can you ride long on them? do you still have power to over take? just curious im thinking about buying one just dont know how it does and comfort ability on long rides

+Ralph Hernandez I had to move the license plate out a little bit more since it was in the way of the mounting arms. But aside from that I just added some washers to do the trick.
That is one fancy FZ-07! Mine is pretty stock and very dirty. Do have the Yoshi exhaust ss + PCV. Love that givi windscreen. How much does that help when going fast?
The best looking Yamaha FZ 07 I've seen. I love the way you accented this bike. I've been thinking about buying this bike. but was worried about not being able to tour on it.
I want to use mine to go cross country. did not know they made touring bags. How many liters are the touring bags and where did you get them? you've rekindled my spirits in buying this bike. I was thinking about a Versys or a VStrom. But the seat height are so tall for me and lowering kits won't lower them enough for my comfort.
I sat on the FZ 07 and the seat height was perfect. I could flat foot on it and I'm 5'9".
Ricky McGill Thank you for the comments... Those are Hepco and Becker C-Bow mounts and bags. I had the bags from my previous bike... and just bought the new mounts for the Yamaha. I had the bags like 3 years already so dont remember exactly where i ordered it from.
Did you use special tool to disassemble the original bar end? My hex key is eithee too small (5/36) or too big (3/16). Did you use metric one or something else?
VroomToRaftel Japanese bikes use metric.

+James Bronson Handles just fine.... doesn't even feel like they are there... the bags are aerodynamic.
Did you try running the Yoshimura with the included insert? I am wondering what difference it makes in or out.

Tim Trombley You lose the deep resonating sound with the insert. I mean its still sounds better than stock but it does quiet down. I'm in the Orange County area.
Hey. I recently purchased An FZ 07 and im looking to buy the ermax accessories. Their shop is a little confusing and i was wondering if your parts were black and red or all red. And did the yoshi exhaust fit the splitter that sitts below the engine. Ps. Love the bike.

ChroniX Thank you.... I believe there is no difference between the MT-07 and the FZ-07. When I look for parts they are always the same even for windshields.

How comfortable is that seat? How many hours can you ride before you're no longer comfortable? I like the looks of the Corbin seat, but I am short and it is too tall for me.

J Sullivan Its a Saddleman seat. They used my bike as a prototype for the seat. I have ridden close to 2hrs nonstop without any sore ass. :)

+Eddie Alvarez It does the job but if you are a taller rider I would suggest getting a larger windscreen. The wind is deflected to my upper chest area and I am already short.
Can you ride with passenger when having side bags? and is it comfy enough for passenger when side bags are on ?
Also how much can you fit inside those side bags ?
+I3RV Yes you can...the legs would be positioned right over the bags. You can fit alot... the bags are expandable just open up the zipper.

No, the dealer I bought the motorcycle from went to the Saddleman's shop to have it done.

+chun wei Hsu I'm short so it deflects the wind to the upper portion of my chest... if you will be doing alot more riding on freeways I would suggest getting a larger windscreen. But for looks it is the best one I think.

If you have bought bike for 6k (with ABS) and you must have spent 2-2.5k so we are at 8-8.5k eur. Well, I can buy ducati 821 for that price tag ... not sure that the pricing of yamaha is ok. :)

If you wanted a sport touring bike why not just buy an FZ 6 or something similar which would look good with sport touring bags and a windshield. I'm making a valid argument. He didn't buy an FZ6 because he didn't want an FZ6. He wanted an FZ-07. Yes it has hooligan potential but if we wanted a true hooligan bike he would have put up another grand and got an FZ-09. But he wanted this one. I fail to see how he castrated it. Putting saddlebags and and windscreen on it doesn't in any way effect it's power. It'll still power wheelie in 3rd. Is that direct enough for you? Take your negative troll self somewhere else idiot.
