  • Great tip that will save you time for creating low poly landscapes using what used to be known as the rock generator but is now part of the mesh tools addon in blender.

I've hated the industry for being so empty and boring with the same fantasy stuff.
But after watching your tutorials, Brackeys and many others. I've been struggling to find a way to stop hating myself from not doing more work when you make videos like this and makes it so easy.
Your videos are the best motivation and encouraging kinds of videos you can have.
You show immediately how to do it and how easy it is. That alone is enough motivation to get any lazy or self doubting person to at least try and play around.
Thanks a lot for giving people hope in them selves to try making what they've wanted from their imagination.

    Thanks again, Grant!

Great tip Grant. Was wondering if you have thought about doing cd's of you reading or talking about anything. No offense but I fell asleep on your character course earlier today, and that gave me an idea. You can create cd's of you reading and sell them as a sleep aid because your voice is so relaxing.

Thanks, awesome tips, a storehouse of info here. Who would have thought that Ctrl-Click works for multiple selected objects. And what about applying visible geometry to mesh. And copying modifiers with Ctrl-L. Leave alone the addon itself.

Hey grantt, I'm currently using my macbook pro for modeling and i have to contain myself to low poly work because if I try to do anything slightly complex (simulations, transparency, nodes, etc.) Blender will crash or get so slow its unbearable. My mac isnt short on storage, do you think I need a different computer or should I find a way to upgrade my mac? Thanks!

edit : i find 2 possible reason, first one, i didn't have the latest version so i updated my Blender to the most recent version and it work. second one, i noticed that my add-ons were not instaled in the same folder as the one where blender is instaled. For ppl get the some issue, check these 2 points ;)
