- Gameplay of the last mission of Deus Ex Human Revolution for the PC with the final boss battle against Zhao Yun Ru and all the four endings ( David Sarif's , William Bill Taggart 's, Hugh Darrow's, and self destruct) + the secret ending after the credits part 3 of 3
The endings in order:
03:36 William Taggart's
06:16 David Sarif's
08:49 Hugh Darrow's
11:26 Self-Destruct
14:15 Secret
Its not the end of the world, but you can see it from here.
Why no music on the videos? It is so amazing with it. The endings feel so "dry" with out it..
Is the Morpheus initiative the blue thing JC talks to in Morgan Everetts house? I was so excited when they played the original theme song at the very end... Such a great game! :D
Deus Ex The Movie would be so damn great....
Choice is at the heart of Deus Ex and there is no choice in movies. They'd have to chose endings, lethal vs non-lethal, stealth vs. fight and so on.
Escuchar al final el tema del primer Deus Ex si te saca una lágrima...
Man I hope that the Destroy ending isn't canon. Its cool that Jensen wants humanity to think for themselves but making the decision to doom a shit ton of Innocent people in the final level is really fucked up.
Dat music at the end...It has been so long since I heard that.
"Absolute freedom is no better than chaos"
*Page not Morgan, sorry.
Same music from the old game, hell yeah !!! This summer i gonna play this game :)
Bob, the greatist evil name
A true Deus Ex Ending, I don't think it coulda been better. Even paid tribute to the original, a game that changed the definition of FPS-RPGs
I got the ending where I had to choose between broadcasting the truth or sinking everything under water.
a great series with always great endings which ever you choose
The self destruct ending is definitely the best choice
+Thraxxboi Mankind Divided is totally unclear about which ending is canon. The dev team (or whoever is in charge of this anyway) has stated that regardless of which ending is chosen by the player, the Panchea facility still collapses (presumably after everyone still alive gets evacuated).
+History of Video Games I dont thinks its the best ending just because of the panachea collapse...Its literally the only ending where adams choice wasnt motivated or influenced by anyone else and as a result he left it up to humanity to make their own choices uninfluenced by anyone else... and to me that was the major theme/lesson of the entire game so that ending was the most appropriate
i was drunk when i had to choose, and i choose that ending, I REGRET NOTHING!!!
alittle late, but bare in mind that we're all deus ex fans here, so we're alittle bias on the ending.
Really great ending ❤️
call me,...........Bob
Adam should have killed her.
I would definitely choose the SD ending
I don't get the secret ending. This is the only Deus Ex game I've played. What is it about?
+CyborgNinja7 Deus Ex Human Revolution is a prequel, so to speak, of the original Deus Ex game. As the commenter below you mentioned, this is about Megan Reed's involvement in creating the "gray death" virus from the first Deus Ex game. Mankind Divided, I imagine, will further build towards the original Deus Ex game as well.
Any chance for another installment for the Deus Ex series ?, did anyone hear anything ?
Terros yep
+Terros Mankind Divided releases later this year (August).
Yep
So can someone explain to me what ever happens to Faridah, Megan , Adam, David Sarif in great detail and if they are mentioned atall in any other dues ex games such as the game from the theme at the end. This game has truly got to me. Pleases respond
+NorwegianBrawler You will have to wait for the sequel to come out I suppose
+NorwegianBrawler You can just look up the Deus Ex wikia, ya know.
History of Video Games The Wiki can't really have too much information on a game that isn't released yet, just what we know from the trailers.
I haven't tried the secret one myself, but I recognize fake when I see fake.
Nope secret ending is real.
"Megan's" voice actor is not the same, it is a black screen and the bit in the end is just a part edited from the intro.
And its the secret ending. If you dont trust US play it by yourself.
Oh... Ooh... I see, well sorry to have bothered you.
RPGtalkout
The credits are pretty long so understandable if some people can't be bothered, but that secret ending IS there.
it is possible to go back to speak with 2 bitches that i forgot??LOL.I wanted to do 3 endings.
The Deus Ex Games are so amazing I like thouse tipe of games
P...P...Page? oh my god....
LOL! That music was so long and the final endings was.... so cute....:D!
Wlad Detools dude whats wrong with your engrish?
The Ending where "all Power to decide Things" is shifted to very few, is the
worst and most evilspirited Ending. Because: You only "need to LOOK", at
the Story of this Game.
" What " made "augmented" People a Threat? And "Terrorists" ?? A few...
" What " is never to be trusted, because Influence is Power - and Power is
sure to corrupt someone? The " few " ... ... in Fact: Most Problems involving
our " real - World - today " - including War's,
is only because " a FEW, less People ", want to decide over the World - in
which Direction Mankind prospers - and which People possess Wealth and
which do not. (( Often motivated by Racism as well. ))
Honestly?
Is "the first Ending" really an Option for some People who play the Game?
Surely,
this is a naive Way of thinking, "HOPING" that Oneself would always end up
at the upper End of the Stick, right?
And the Hope, that " a few, less People " can be trusted: While Human History,
proves us AGAIN - AND - AGAIN - that everything including Human Society, is
getting worse and worse, the "more LESS People" have Control over it.
In Deus EX Revolution,
" Human Enhancement, Modification, Augmentation " - or whatever you would
call it, "was" never evil, "is" never evil - and WILL BE - never evil.
It's always the Humans itself which can not be trusted,
because " Someone " always wants more for himself as for others,
and in Deus EX Revolution, it was always Humans that brought Suffering over
others of their own Species - with "or without" Enhancement Technology. But
that doesn't make the Technology a bad, evil Thing.
In our nowadays, real World - "Cyberpunk-like", high-technology Prosthesis
for all kinds of Body Material/Limbs/Organs, are "attempting" to get invented
by People --- trying to make it possible for blind People, to see again. No Joke.
People who lost a Leg, an Arm - or something else, would gladly live a good
Life again with a Prosthesis that is still considered Sci-Fi this Days. But many
of this Things could be Reality in Ten or Twenty Years.
If People are like: " N~oooo, we must "fear" modified People, "
we must " control(suppress) " even the THOUGHT of modifying People,
these are nothing but Misanthropes - " Human Haters. " They are Scum, who
are thinking that other Humans don't deserve to live a better Life. And with the
perverted Attempt to install Fear into People's Heads and Minds,
such People would always agitate and badger than " Enhancement " would
always be an evil Thing,
because "all Human's" would be always evil by Nature - and only attempting
to make something as a Power and Weapon to threat others. But it's never
"all" Human's who are evil. It's when "to less, few", get to many Things to
decide, over the great Masses.
While it's true that "the great Mass" should never decide everything, Deus EX
Revolution proves greatly what happens, when "the Mass" is getting treated
as ... ... " just a stupid Mass (of Flesh?) " that should not decide ANYTHING.
can't absolutely argue with that...there's the two greatest paradoxes at work here: Men In Black's quote: "Persons as individuals are smart, people as mass are stupid" could make some people shift towards Taggart's ending...but then again, when "the Few" of "intelligent individuals" reach a critical mass and become themselves a Mass of People, thus becoming as stupid as the ones they want to control? how many straws are needed for them to become "a sheaf"?
So what is a good ending? Darrow and Self-Destruct put too much hope in people....but scared people tend to believe to everything is presented to them, and the simple answers ("Technology is EVIL" is the most probable outcome, expecially when paranoid persons like Humanity Front's most extreme wings strumentalize this horror to their purpose, just look at the Catholic Church with the fear of God and Hell and witchcraft in Dark Ages) are more easy to accept for everyone...spares the dumb a lesson and the smart a thougt...but Taggart is hard to accept since "if the men are watched, who watches the Watchmen?". If the controllers are people like the controlled, what makes them different? meritocracy isn't the top priority of stay-behind powers i think, nor it is in post-crisis control structures (just think about the weak Weimar republic or the quickly-dictatorized italian fascist coup or russian/cuban/chinese communist revolution or religious overtaking in Iran), expecially in post-crisis structures, when loyalty and zealotry to the "cause" are seen as more important than good sense and cleverness when deciding the new representatives for the people
and thus we are left with Sarif...but this shifts the "Few" from an occult power organization focused on stay-behind controlling the governments, economy, and so on, to multinationals with more interests in bank account than in peoples, on organizations that see individuals as even less than pawns in a chessplate....but just as customers to swindle or as workforce to exploit...Giving to moneymaking structures the "God-like power" to augment capabilities would be even more naive than letting a secret power possess and control it, as there would be no stops to what those structures would do to become richer and more powerful; plus not everyone could afford the process so not everyone could become a "augmented human", and so not everyone could be equal, and where inequality lingers...well you know history and the outcomes of such a situation...not everyone in this world is an idealist like Sarif and his mentality of "let's share with everyone", and his followers would be probably even worse than Taggart's bunch of hidden puppeteers...so by paradox the "uncontrollable control" that Taggart and the weirdos of the Illuminati offer might by paradox be evil, yes, but a lesser evil than Sarif's "unequal equality" ending, and on the same level as Darrow's "Truth will give hope" or self-destruct's "Let them think what they want" endings
Let's admit it at the very end...THERE ARE NO GOOD ENDINGS...in a way or the other, it's always a loss of something...it's just the choice of what we prefer to lose
What a great game this is, to convey such a message :)
+DonPatrono You forget to realize that only one ending will alow the truth to come out! It's better than concealing or downright lying !
Gul'Dan Darkness Incarnate i chose helios ending anyway
Page? MIND = BLOWN
I killed everyone and everything because it was the most fun way to play the game.
how was Bob?
i hate theese kinda games where they dont show what hapend after
Play the first Deus Ex, made back in 2000....that's what happened next lol. Bob Page is evil, and that makes me one ugly son of a bitch...
+Jere Reini Deus Ex Human Revolution and now Mankind Divided (later this year in August) will bridge the gap between these two games and the original Deus Ex. HR and MD are prequels.
wow, this game have a secret ending? Not gonna watch it, gonna play the game again.
The secret ending is just what you see after the credits.
gg
I chose the Taggart (Illuminati) ending. It just seems the most logical.
Great game XD
