+Gilberto Tabares I agree. I've got no interest in this "I killed boss so-and-so with both hands tied behind my back, while sitting blinfolded two rooms away" shit. If at the end of the fight, if you're alive, and the boss is not so alive, then thats a good result.
There is even a faster and easier way to end the last boss fight. If you have the laser (which shoots through walls), immediately after the cut-scene, just crouch and fire the laser at Zhou. In about 4 seconds she'll be dead. boom.
Deus Ex Human Revolution All Boss Fights, Cinematics and *No Damage* Only 0:17 seconds into the video and Adam is already bleeding profusely out of his stomach... (note: I know that cutscene is scripted, as this comment was a joke)
Thank you, have been looking for the 1st Boss gameplay. No walk throughs tackle it; even when they have prt1 timed at 4 hrs and a part 2 timed at 4 hours, no one shows it, I don't know why...you, are the best!
Jaron: 'I thought you would be more formidable than this.' *0.2 seconds before getting the worst headspin of his life and getting his spine twisted and broken in several places*
Wow like a biatch for the first two bosses then to become the biggest winner with the 3rd on the 1 hit kill, very nice strat for all the bosses, kudo points to you mah good sir (didnt include the final battle due to that with the plasma rifle i did it on my first try without getting hit lol)
The last boss is very confusing. I couldn't tell if I was supposed to expose those peons plugged into the computer and kill them or if Zhao just became vulnerable over time, basically I just ran around shooting and pushing whatever I could until Zhao was dead.
Boss fights are definitely the worst part of the game. Each fight took me a lot of nerves and was veery frustrating. Also, if you do not spend your Praxis points to combat/endurance skills, your augmentations will be useless against all of the bosses (except for the final boss maybe).
***** Used to be possible to one shot Namir with a takedown in specific locations. They fixed it. Either he is playing a vanilla version of the game or he found another way to make it work.
+Auriel Trubiet this works if u dont take the chip from limp then in the fight... he needs to jump over a wall towards you and you have to press O (PS3) while he is still in the air...
Grenades, EMP mines, and a rocket launcher if you're feeling like dominating them. Typhoon if you're choosing to save space for things other than ammo.
The boss fights punish people that aren't built for combat. I invested in stealth and it took me 3 separate games to be able to beat the bosses, and I'm still on Namir.
18:06 That's quite reminiscent of when Jaron threw Jensen through the glass at the beginning of the game...A fitting end indeed. It is quite sad what he's referring to though when he says, "Men like us? We never get back the thing we love." In reference to how he lost his sister in a supposed car accident in Haifa.
Is this easy or what? In the Yelena/Rihanna fight I had to use PEPS, a gas grenade, then empty my shotgun and combat rifle, PEPS, then I was lucky to have Heavy Rifle full of ammo.
Yep, this game is mostly infiltration, and you usually level this only, when you hit a big fight you cant dodge, you,re in no fighting shape, only infiltration.
Yeah, I thought so. Fighting the Hyron project in the end was way easier than it should have been, even if you didn't go the cheap route with the la rifle.
I, like most people’s first tries with this game’s boss fights tried to actually fight with guns and cover and be all action heroy... What I realized is that the best way to beat these augmented assholes is to (A) spam Barrett with mines (B) same with Barrett or use those spine explosives augmentations for the Federico (C) lurk in a corner for Jaron and finish him with a melee takedown. Yeah, indeed boss fights weren’t the strong side of this game...
I can't believe you have to go all the way out to the hidden base and save Megan Reed. She's the one who creates the global virus from the original game!
I was always so annoyed at how atmospherically color toned the cutscenes were, but then when they cut back into real-time everything was way less atmospheric feeling. Game still had a fantastic atmosphere though, and was an excellent game overall.
I shot Barrett 3 times with a rocket launcher, used all my combat rifle ammo (3 packs) 2 mags of my armor piercing 10mm and while I setting up for the next volley of lead to his face he died when shot with the stun gun..WTF!
Lmao i remembered I played this game maybe 8-9 years ago so my memory is a bit fuzzy, but as soon as I saw the first boss here i was like "oh we beat that guy using the barrels around us" then i saw your strategy and thought fucking genius 🤣
I'd like to see someone doing the fights right. No Nuke Weps, no explosives, just a handgun and a bunch of healing items. I tried. I'ts bullshittingly hard and hell of a lot of fun.
You mean in "The Icarus Effect"? Okay, cool. Still, it was sad that the Tyrants in the actual game were nothing but 3 big obstacles. A dialouge option or a battle option, depending on the playstyle (non-/aggressive), would have been cool. It'd give pacifistic players a chance form their own Jensen more freely while learning about the Tyrants and their motivations and maybe even letting them spare you.
I killed Barrett One-Shot by throwing one of these red canisters at his face ^^ he died like IMMIDIATELY, and i didn't shot one single Bullet ^^ Feeling like a Boss
But i have to say - last boss - nicely done I Had the codes from the previous talking at the top of the tower, but did this boss in normal way (computer, chamber open, than hit, computer, chamber, hit....). Really didn't know that You can do that ;p go to terminal, pass the code, 3 mines ;p finish;p /gratz
honestly this game disappointed me to no end. I loved the Deus ex series but this ones closed ending's that almost always go the exact same way just killed it for me.
Since when is there a "right" way to take down a boss? Just use whatever works, no matter the difficulty. It's not like you get a trophy for killing them in different ways :P
Mines? Seriously?-_- not legit. I actually took my time with the bosses especially federova. I had the EMP/electricity protection and whatever gun, shot the generators to slow her down, then went trigger happy, and I too completed the story on "Give me Deus Ex."
There is a novel called Deus Ex: The Icarus effect. Its about some things that happen just before Jensen returns to work after being augmented. You get a bit of back story about Namir and his little band of mercs, it sets up the story of the game and gives you a perspective from the bad guys point of view. Jensen isn't really in the book though. The book is kinda average, its not awesome but its not terrible. Icarus effect is written by one of the 40k Horus heresy writers called James Swallow.
so yer strategy is grenade the shit outta everybody? i dig it
+Gilberto Tabares I agree. I've got no interest in this "I killed boss so-and-so with both hands tied behind my back, while sitting blinfolded two rooms away" shit. If at the end of the fight, if you're alive, and the boss is not so alive, then thats a good result.
That way seems to be the only way in most games with grenades. If not grenades then use rockets
the female mercenary leader reminds me of Mistral from Metal Gear Rising
Not Rihanna
Both
18:52
Notice how all the statues give you a Big Boss salute after you cqc the boss.
There is even a faster and easier way to end the last boss fight. If you have the laser (which shoots through walls), immediately after the cut-scene, just crouch and fire the laser at Zhou. In about 4 seconds she'll be dead. boom.

Holy shit. That's one hell of a badass way to kill Jaron.
i took a chip from limb clinic and barely made it at that 3rd fight...
So basically...load up on grenades?
Mines
Thank you, have been looking for the 1st Boss gameplay. No walk throughs tackle it; even when they have prt1 timed at 4 hrs and a part 2 timed at 4 hours, no one shows it, I don't know why...you, are the best!
18:03 I like how he gets up after his spine is destroyed.
the intro plus the music i could rewind forever
Jaron: 'I thought you would be more formidable than this.'
*0.2 seconds before getting the worst headspin of his life and getting his spine twisted and broken in several places*

The Yelena boss cinematic is my favorite.
The last boss is very confusing. I couldn't tell if I was supposed to expose those peons plugged into the computer and kill them or if Zhao just became vulnerable over time, basically I just ran around shooting and pushing whatever I could until Zhao was dead.
"Cause she wont tell me" in walks rihanna...
Chris Brown Mode Activate!!!
*10 seconds later*
Bitch you better start talking
Haha
Oh and its cause she wont "let" me
However the ending is, this game describes about humanity and how it is important us :)
one of the best games i ever played.
17:26 best quote from a video game ever
Boss fights are definitely the worst part of the game. Each fight took me a lot of nerves and was veery frustrating. Also, if you do not spend your Praxis points to combat/endurance skills, your augmentations will be useless against all of the bosses (except for the final boss maybe).
17:58 HOW?!?!?!
agreed. I thought bosses couldn't be 1 hit like that
***** Looks like a glitch of some sort. He was mid wall-jump animation, maybe you can do a takedown during that.
***** Used to be possible to one shot Namir with a takedown in specific locations. They fixed it. Either he is playing a vanilla version of the game or he found another way to make it work.
+Auriel Trubiet this works if u dont take the chip from limp

I know right how??!
Grenades, EMP mines, and a rocket launcher if you're feeling like dominating them. Typhoon if you're choosing to save space for things other than ammo.
He didn't take the chip upgrade in hangsha, which was also a sabotage installation
You have to stun them or find a moment when the programmers dropped the ball.
At 16:35 turn the captions on and when Adam says "A new biochip" the captions say "A new pirate ship" LOL
holy shit i never knew you could do takedowns on bosses
The boss fights punish people that aren't built for combat. I invested in stealth and it took me 3 separate games to be able to beat the bosses, and I'm still on Namir.

PEPS The most lethal non-lethal weapon in history
"His body can take it"
eh, that's Sarif over there...
Is this easy or what? In the Yelena/Rihanna fight I had to use PEPS, a gas grenade, then empty my shotgun and combat rifle, PEPS, then I was lucky to have Heavy Rifle full of ammo.
11:05
Tbh this boss fight was HARD in my opinion
Yep, this game is mostly infiltration, and you usually level this only, when you hit a big fight you cant dodge, you,re in no fighting shape, only infiltration.
It took me like ours to beat the bosses and you do it in 2 minutes. wow
It's a little creepy how you can see Barrett in the background of his boss cutscene.
Yeah, I thought so. Fighting the Hyron project in the end was way easier than it should have been, even if you didn't go the cheap route with the la rifle.
I, like most people’s first tries with this game’s boss fights tried to actually fight with guns and cover and be all action heroy...

Awesome stuff!
wow made me look like a chump playing this through my first playthrough i will need to play this game again
but, you do catch that there's a lot more behind him and all the other augmented bosses than what you get to know from the game.
Man, the fucking intro is so fucking badass.
Well what's the fun in that?! XD
Thank you good video
If metal gear revengence had a child with doom and batman
I can't believe you have to go all the way out to the hidden base and save Megan Reed. She's the one who creates the global virus from the original game!
lol you can also easily take down yelena with the stun gun. stun lock FTW!
You actually can't but there's a glitch when Jaron Namir is on the wall if you hold or press the takedown button in finishes him
Nice takedown at 18:00 ;)
I wasn't aware you could perform lethal takedowns on bosses ...
When Adam get yourself up at 06:55 and 17:45, it's so fucking bad ass!
Wow, okay, that joke completely flew over your head.
I was always so annoyed at how atmospherically color toned the cutscenes were, but then when they cut back into real-time everything was way less atmospheric feeling.

You can save on credits and granades by just throwing exploding containers at Barret fyi.
I still can't seem to beat Yelena. I put 200+ heavy rifle rounds into her and she still. won't. fucking. die.
In the book Barrett is a pretty well developed character, the game doesn't really do him justice.
You can only do it on Namir. And it ONLY works while Namir is on top of a wall. Just look at how it is in the video.
Grenade! grenade ! Chelious ! Chelious !
so, losing your arms in a fight and getting a headshot from point blank is no damage
These bosses are straight outta Metal gear rising revengence!
Adam Jensen loves frag mines
I'm without voice :o
Respect for you !!!
В ролике с барретом крутая музыка,интересно бы знать,как она называется?
I just finished my play through on the hardest difficulty without typhoon ammo for the bosses and it was ugly lol took a couple tries for sure
That 's the biggest problem with this game and the reason why I still haven't gotten the new one yet. All the boss fights are super easy.
you can't do that to namir anymore. i just beat him, but i died the first time when i tried to melee him.
Lmao i remembered I played this game maybe 8-9 years ago so my memory is a bit fuzzy, but as soon as I saw the first boss here i was like "oh we beat that guy using the barrels around us" then i saw your strategy and thought fucking genius 🤣
Why were the main antagonists so underdeveloped and flat? I wish they had more substance.
I'd like to see someone doing the fights right. No Nuke Weps, no explosives, just a handgun and a bunch of healing items. I tried. I'ts bullshittingly hard and hell of a lot of fun.

You are great!
this game is the best
if i had so many bombs i wouldn't watch this.
6:50 music👍
I killed Barrett One-Shot by throwing one of these red canisters at his face ^^ he died like IMMIDIATELY, and i didn't shot one single Bullet ^^ Feeling like a Boss
Vlw cara isso foi muito util.
whaa, never know the P.E.P.S could be so useful!!
The Tyrants were expanded on in the novel.
But i have to say - last boss - nicely done
I Had the codes from the previous talking at the top of the tower, but did this boss in normal way (computer, chamber open, than hit, computer, chamber, hit....).
Really didn't know that You can do that ;p go to terminal, pass the code, 3 mines ;p finish;p /gratz
This might sound dumb, but am I the only one who thought Barrett would have an austrian accent kinda like Arnold Schwarzennegger's?
17:57 = amazing kill
honestly this game disappointed me to no end. I loved the Deus ex series but this ones closed ending's that almost always go the exact same way just killed it for me.
Let me guess...you’re a Junkrat main.
Hey maker of this video. Tell me how you got the augmentation to kill namir plz
You mean the a guide book or is there a published book based on the series?
5:43 how’d he get that gun in the 5 section. I’m on that part right now and I don’t have it.
You take damage at the begining of the video (getting punch in the gut)
Elzia is a very touchy person....
wtf how long was he standing there waiting for that clever line?
This all evolved from the Nanosuit by Jacob Hargreaves folks. :3 Crysis reff
Since when is there a "right" way to take down a boss? Just use whatever works, no matter the difficulty. It's not like you get a trophy for killing them in different ways :P

What? How did you take him down? Every time I did that it would fail and they would punch me or something.
yelena federova fuck yeah!
Thank god for Typhoon!
Boss fight? Oh'Boy! Bomb Spam!
Damn it. arrived at her with the wrong weapons. Die every time.
It was on Normal Difficulty, I think.
at 18:00 that kill is a takedown or what ? how can i perform such a kill??
at 15:10, what are all the items from 1-6?
